Diagnose igniter issues to fix electronic ignition gas stoves. This particular unit had the ignition knob shorted and the fire starter probe broken. Cleaning the debris from ignition knob and fixing the starter probe solved the issue.

Thank you! thank you! thank you! I knew I had some kind of circuit problem and I went all over the web to get an answer. I even bought new leads from aliexpress. still no luck. Somehow I came across this video and now my stove is working 100%. WD40 and a nail file did the job lol! And I am also rather happy to hear an accent from just down the road.

Hi Kaki, my stove cooker is not burning, the ignition works well and it lights, however after 2seconds it does not light goes dead. I have cleaned with precise steps and still not burning when lit. Is there any suggestions you can perhaps give to fix .i'd really apprectiate . Thanks

Great video thank you so much! Two of the porcelain insulators on my burners are cracked grounding the spark too far from the gas. I was considering using epoxy but afraid it wouldn't insulate sufficiently. Going to do this now, thanks again!

Clean the contact points inside of the Knob.. might have something shorting the contacts.

Hi, my burner did not ignite and not producing spark at all. Not giving clicking sound after replacing battery, for all 3 burner. The positive polar of the battery connector a bit rusty so i have clean but still same. No spark. Is that mean the igniter need to be replaced?
