Awesome restoration, looks amazing! Great choice of paint, the green and yellow work really well together and it’s giving me old Lotus F1 car vibes!!👍👍
@@buildrestorecustomise2060 I like it, it's not my favorite, but I felt obligated to give it the racing green. I definitely thought of the old Lotus colors too when I was putting the decals on. It drives great too...I love the vintage Losi RCs. Thanks for watching!
@@rcicons4915 They are great RCs, well designed and high quality for the 80s. Hopefully someone with Losi is watching... maybe we will get a rere at some point? 🤞
@@coygtrc Hey! Thanks! I was replying to other comments, that the green looks better in person than on the video. More like the thumbnail picture or the pictures at the end of the video. But, yes it came out great mechanically, it runs amazing. And of course a lot of us are still waiting for Losi to get on board with the vintage releases. A boy can dream 🤔
Turned out looking cool and very nice for you to paint it in the green as a tribute to the previous owner! I could see from the photos in the beginning the stuff was glued down at some point with CA or epoxy. It was harder to get the right stuff at time back then so lots were "fixed" with less than ideal solutions! I know I did it at least once or twice back in the day!
@@AddamsPlayground Yeah, I'm sure he used whatever his dad had lying around...I did the same as a kid. I'm glad it's back in service and even though it is not my favorite color, I do think it looks cool with the black wheels and the yellow decals. Like a vintage race car. The thumbnail picture and the pictures at the end of the video are really what it looks like. The video makes it look brighter for some reason.
@@JoevsRc The suspension worked so well on the old rough tracks, and I think it's a lot lighter than the RC10. Definitely a time capsule, it definitely influenced the rest of the RC world back then to make better products. Everyone but Tamiya at least 😂
The Jrx Pro was my first race-grade RC car. Funny you should mention people regret getting rid of theirs because I haven’t really missed mine. The local scene supported the RC10 and that’s what the local shop sold, but I couldn’t afford the AE so I got a used Team Losi instead. It was a logistical and social faux pas that I corrected a couple of years later with the ’94 YZ-10. Now that’s a vehicle I do regret selling.
@@Glocktologist Well, the YZ-10 was superior to the JRX2...in my opinion at least. But for you to have a JRX-Pro as your first race grade RC is kinda cool too. My parents bought me a grasshopper lol. The only one I could race was my buddy that had a Marui Big Bear 😂
@@jamespeek3061 I know, Losi/Horizon are really missing out, the vintage market is so strong right now. They could be making a lot of money. Plus then I could get more spares for my RCs lol.
Great job, I'm getting ready to rebuilding a Jrx2 & JrxT. Still collecting some misc parts off eBay. Not a fan of the green, but I get it. Plus I don't have to be..
@@caronaxtr1 The green was not my first choice, but I felt like it was the right thing to do. Plus I can always pick up another body and I already have extra decals. If you are looking for bodies I would go with Sabula Tech. Let me know if you need anything. I literally just did the same thing. Both this and the JRXT.
@@willchill1977 Unfortunately I moved it on a while ago. I can't keep all of them, I kept the JRXT though. I love running it. I'm not really a "Shelf Queen" guy, and I probably wasn't going to run it so it's gone. Hope you find one!

@@LukesVintageRC Thanks Luke! I appreciate it. I do wish the green looked better on the video. It looks so much better than that in person.
That's a very nice looking Losi. Well done 👏🤝
