If you are taking your Apple iBook G4 A1133 laptop apart be careful and wear an anti-static wrist band or use other anti-static device. If you need to change a LCD usually you don't have to take screen out of a laptop. You can leave it on a laptop and watch the last part of the video where I am taking LCD apart. If you need to change a keyboard, you don't have to take all bottom screws out. There are usually some marks, like a keyboard picture, on a case bottom. If you need to put a laptop back to work be aware of screws. They are different and you better remember or mark them somehow to insure that you will put them back in to a right place.
Some laptops I take apart first time, so don't be serious on my time and performance.
If something got broken - ooops, it's your fault.
Believe me, some parts in your laptop are already broken, you just don't see that.

i have this damaged ibook g4 that i found under my dads drawer, the cd drive dosent work, the apple logo/display have splotches, you know what i mean. This helped alot aside from our smaller screws are at my dads house lol
You should be able to find an old external and see what's on it maybe...
@@regazzz Well for one I lost my external DVD drive and 2 I'm trying to boot from DVD and I don't think mac laptops will boot from external DVD drive :( it also does boot macOS but there's nothing useful on it aside from my mom and dads wedding stuff (eww) so I'm trying to reinstall macOS and also maybe dualboot it like also it makes any disk you put in really smudgy and unusable and you have to put pressure on power adapter to get it to work. I don't want to be asking to much but can you put a video on just taking the DVD drive out please:) (btw I'm only 8 if you don't know yet 🤣 thanks.
@@Iwantthehandlesillydemon I just restored my older Apple A1278. Had to replace a palmrest and that was practically a complete disassemble and reassemble, anyway, but I needed to install Mac Os and had to use some generic external DVD drive which worked. Did you tried and external DVD drive?
@@regazzz well, like i said i lost my external but the 8 bit guy made a tutorial on booting from usb but i don't have a macOS 10.4 dmg image (but i do have iso) so like do you have one ? lol I spend like 2hrs a day looking for one so probably when i didn't lose it i just needed an original dmg. Also i'm not even sure if mine is a A1133 but everything is the same so far soo....
