I've not tested the durability, but I assume until you next wash the car with a pressure washer. Though tbh, it's designed to be a temporary solution, not a long term one.
Should be fine as it specifically says it needs high pressure water to remove.... As you can see in the b roll, where water runs over the bonnet, the coating is still there. It only goes under high pressure
Brilliant product. Very helpful tips too.
I remember going to Donny South back in 2002 and wrapped the front of my Ford Focus (minus the grille) in cling film. 😊
🤣
This looks pretty insane!! This is next level! I need to get a bottle in to try. Thanks for sharing 🤩
You should!
This looks like a cracking product, for the purposes you've outlined.
Definitely 👍
Still need to get out and play with mine , will definitely do I thicker 🙌 and the little tab , what a cracking tip .. top job as always Matt
Adding the tab was a godsend... It's in the process of being patented, so don't copy the idea 🤣
@@TheDetailingSpace 😂😂😂😂
Great video, surely putting low tack tape on your bonnet and exposing it to engine heat cycles isn't great for your paintwork?
Probably not, but it's what people did/still do when driving to shows
😮 This really is a game changer!
👊
This is perfect for once you refresh old yellow headlights and use this to protect them?
That would certainly be a great use case for this 👍
Well, you would have to recoat the headlight after every single wash since the coating is water soluble.
Or try to keep the pressure away...
A product dedicated to UV protection would be far more worth while. A ceramic coating, for example.
True. But for tempory use on track or en route to shows, this does the job
Hello Mat,this looks interesting to use but it easy to peel off the car.shame you can't use it all year round.
But the beauty is, it's kinda like you get to pick and choose when you want PPF on your car 😁
Would be interesting in winter time.
Definitely 👍
It seems fragile, would it really protect against rock chips? Even PPF doesn't stop them all.
Look at it this way, it's better than nothing 😉👍
So there is no long term for liquid Ppf?
Do you know if this holds up in the rain? Thanks in advance!
I think it's be ok in a light drizzle, but anything more may turn it to a sticky mess
@@TheDetailingSpace thank you so much for a quick response! You've got a subscriber ☺️
No worries, and thank you 👍
How much Thickness and how many month and years long lasting
Can you use it on a spray gun?
No.... Apply as shown in the video
@@TheDetailingSpace ok thanks
How long does it usually last

Love it
Cheers 👍
hi can i anti scratch with ppf liquid?
Where can people get it from in the US
Try nasiolusa.com 👍
What happens if it rains?
Should be fine as it specifically says it needs high pressure water to remove.... As you can see in the b roll, where water runs over the bonnet, the coating is still there. It only goes under high pressure
Given how soft the paint is on my Honda this would probably take the paint off 🤣
🤣
Does this protect against stone chips
Thanks
To a degree yes, if you apply it thick enough
Can it be layered
Thanks
Yes, as I say in this video, the blue test bonnet had 3-4 thick layers!
@@TheDetailingSpace Thank you
I know what I’m going to be up charging
👍
Nice!!!!
Mate..... You're so late today 😅
another pointless product
Why?
