- Yesterday's Olympic Games Basketball was never wrecking. Team USA was down BIG, and Nikola Jokič wasn't particularly great. Others stepped up though and This Serbian almost beat Team USA by himself - Aleksa Avramovič

We, in Serbia, consider Aleksa the heart of the team. He is not the best player that Serbia has to offer, but he gives 150% of himself everytime he plays for a national team. And that earned him a soft spot in all our hearts, seeing someone that committed to the naional team.

@@SuperZikone Druže nisi u pravu, Lebron vodi loptu a leva noga mu na liniji sudije ne vide postoji snimak, posle trojke AMERA Jokić pravi prekršaj, po kom pravilu im dodeljuju loptu ponovo, onaj bradonja pravi pet koraka a ne udara loptom u parket sudije ćute, posle svake sudijske odluke oni prigovaraju. Nikada nisu išli na doping test i uporno ga odbijaju kao da su oni iznad svih pravila, OČITO BEZOBRAZNA I NADMENA NACIJA.

Kriterijum oko faulova je isto bio problematičan. Koliko puta nisu svirali faul koji su naši namerno pravili, nego su čekali da bude 2+1 pa da tad sviraju...

Reffs played a major role in the USA's win, helping them greatly, especially in the fourth quarter. I agree with you that Aleksa should play more minutes, but I think nothing's changed because of low-level arbitrage. That does not decrease the greatness of the US victory. They are the best in the world.

@@raketavaljevo Daj ne zezaj, naravno da su bolji. Kad je bilo stani pani tad se i videla razlika u kvalitetu bez obzira na pomoć sudija. Napisao je tačno kako treba. Jedino mi nije jasno kako se sretosmo pre finala i ko je smislio taj sistem a bili u grupi sa njima.

Pešić completely out-coached Steve Kerr, Erik Spoelstra, Mark Few and Tyronn Lue throughout the entire game. The only mistake he made was playing Vasa over Aleksa in the 4th.

The reason why he played Micic over Avramovic is because Avramovic is known for overdoing things when he is hot (if you watch Partizan, you know). I believe the idea was to slow the game with Vasa.

Such a bad review. Aleksa is a great defender player. His ability to steal balls is unmatched. He has numerous great players still hanging in his pockets. Aleksa is veeeeery important player for the Serbian national team.

Back story: in Serbia, there is a huge rivalry between two clubs (Partizan and Red Star) and there is a huge divide between their fans... Since I was a child I have been a fan of Red Star, Aleksa played for Partizan, but every fan of basketball that I know of loves him (including the Red Star fans, who hate everything about Partizan). He is the heart of our basketball... Yes, we have more successful players but he is special to us.
The USA won because of the help of the referee from Panama.
USA had 3 more players on the court the whole game.
I think Pešić benched him cause Aleksa has a habit of doing things hastily, while Mićić is a little slower on the ball, which was necessary for Serbia at that point. But Micić also had a bad night, so maybe he could gave Aleksa more time, but it's easy to say it now.

Ubedjen sam da je igrao vise protiv USA da bi dobili utakmicu jer je bilo prostora za njegov napad na kos a i brzi je od Micica.
Sad kad pogledam utakmicu tacno su nam falile dve trojke Jokiceve....o sudjenju da ne govorimo jer je sramota da takvu utakmicu sude neznalice, ali to je sudbina svih malih zemalja na velikim takmicenjima

Yes, USA won because they had a nudge from the referees, but let us be realistic, had we been successful shooting the hoop none of that would matter. Boys missed a lot in the last quarter, they started rushing which only played for the US team. US teams run back and forth shooting hoops, in Europe players think and plan the strategy of a game much better. The last quarter our boys played the US kind of game, they made a mistake and in 3 minutes they were done. Too bad for not sticking with the plan all the way through. They would have ripped France apart!

USA won 4 PT difference, lack of Aleksa in 4th, some unlucky for Dobrić to not score 3 before Curry, low performance of Jokić and most important referee leting 2 fauls on Jokić, LeBron and Embiid to trawel and blowing backcourt violation for Bogi for no reason.
