    Seeing this after all the stripping, fabricating and welding done on the car is so good! Amazing progress

    I love the fact, that it's a small fiat, and not a £400,000 supercar.... It's definitely more interesting.

    We all like a small Italian car, I assume. I learned to drive in a Fiat Strada. Fantastic free revving little go-cart. 😁Love this build, more please. 👍

    Great work, don’t forget soundproofing the rear quarter panels. Self-adhesant foam on to the back of the plastic panels! This made all the difference on my Punto, the oem panels have NO proofing, just 3mm plastic thats it.
    Foam very effective for noise, as opposed to dynamat etc which are for resonance really, in tiny portions. Heavy too, that.

  • @Laser100man
    @Laser100man ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Hi Neil, excellent job so far. The sound deadening you put was quite right, shaped exactly to the form of the floor - I'd advise you to get some on the roof too, also on the boot floor. On my '99 Alfa 146 TS I've done those things minus the roof, and the difference is over 7 Db @ 75-80 mph (the legal limit in Greece), which is a heck of a lot - the car was never too noisy at motorway speeds, but now you can have pretty much limo-like trips and practically no road noise / vibrations whatsoever. Great job, keep it up, lovely videos!

    • @ItaliaAutos
      @ItaliaAutos  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I've got plenty left

    • @Laser100man
      @Laser100man ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ItaliaAutos That's great news if you don't mind taking the roof lining off again, the boot is easy, I assure you it will help noticeably more, you'll enjoy the engine sound far more because the deadening will -nearly-eliminate all those unwanted noises. My intention is to put some deadening on my roof too sometime, just too lazy to take the lining off (lol).

    awesomeness my man! If i could still driv a manual I’d be planning a bank robbery to get the funds to make you an offer you can’t refuse. Punto GT Turbo is my humming bird. Btw i have seen upholstery bobbling removed with a cheap bic razor and also an electric shaver. I’d try a test first myself. (It was Mike Brewer that used the bic style razor on iirc a vw)

    • @ItaliaAutos

    Hi Neil again been watching all the videos. My Punto gt is grey metalic. I was wondering if you`ll be doing a video of fitting the Clutch master cylinder? Looks a bitch of a job to do from the ground. I`ve done the slave cylinder but didn`t make any improvement apart from that I know it`s a job I won`t have to do now. Will you be doing a video of replacing the Clutch master Cylinder? It works fine but only if I apply more pressure than normal initially and then rest my foot on it as light as possible to keep it active. If I press it down lightly it goes all the way down obvious signs of master cyl. She has a new clutch 2020 May 6k miles since and honestly could drive it all day but it needs replacement. All I know is, right wheel off, inner wheel arch liner off, alternator off for axcesability. Thanks. Keep the video`s coming.
