Love this. Most of the time, the answer I hear to this question is one that is very defensive with a focus on the conditions for the apostasy law. And in being defensive, it comes off as "Islam is just as good". But Imam Tom's answer flips the script and instead shows the superiority of Islam.

Good explanation! This is the Western critics most afraid of, but they don't understand that without Islamic court and legal proceedings, you can't implement this in the Western countries.
