I still remember when I first notice that I can actually make higher jumps without nitro just by holding "up" on the D-pad. After I learned that, I am able to reliably complete the tracks without having to worry about wasting nitro on smaller jumps and dump the nitro if I want to fly over all the obstacles for an easy win.
This came on my GB Boy Colour. I couldn't get into it since it seems the game is a bit more "precise" and finicky with how titled your bike can be to have a safe landing, compared to Excitebike.
I actually traded a radio controlled car for a bunch of games with a friend who had been on holiday in Thailand or somewhere. the pirate cart had games like Castlevania, Contra, Turtles, Double Dragon etc. on one cartridge, but for some reason I got the legit cart of this game in the same trade. Because there were so many games, and games were expensive back then, I thought the trade was a great deal, but later regretted it because it was a Tamiya Monster Beetle - probably the coolest one available in the late 80s. I did a lot of bad trades involving gaming and computer hardware back then. I swapped my Amiga and all the games for a bike, which is maybe the saddest trade in retrospect, and while I had no bike I was running around after everyone, so I was probably getting really fit.
In Japan, this was Konami's first Game Boy game, and Castlevania: The Adventure was their second. Here in America, it was the other way around. (Japan) Motocross Maniacs: September 20, 1989 Castlevania: The Adventure: October 27, 1989 (USA) Castlevania: The Adventure: December 1989 Motocross Maniacs: January 1990
There is a secret route @ 26:08 or 26:11 somewhere press b button continuously for at least >6times or above. You will reach the highest height of game. When u could get about 6-7 Nitros in a row
There are secret bonuses for flipping and taking more risks in certain areas in this game. This was a "play it safe" kind of run, why not so many flips and stuff?
So good. I used to do as many back flips as possible. I need to get my hands on a copy of this again. Someone was selling it on eBay for more than €50 😏
someone help me! This game was in a GBA box (a 50 games in 1 thing) With manny other games like Volley Fire and stuf like that. If someone knows the name of that box would be really great!
was this a real game you are talking about? I know it was redone in color for the Konami GB Collection Vol 3 on gameboy color and renamed "Bikers" .....but that was a 4 game compilation.
ok , here's my 2 cents about this , well make it 5 dollars , this virsion of "excite bike" feels like sonic with all the loop de loops & there is no "you got 1st place" theme with the 3 jumping dudes , that theme was hot , & what's with the collecting shit ? just sayin
Wowsers You wanna know how to play Motocross Maniacs? Well to be honest That Game isn't meant to be played by SLB's(Shitty Little Bois') So I have no clue on how you can even attempt to play Easy mode 'Cause you probably have a crappy little brain Im sorry for you but go play some Sims with your boifriend And leave hardcore gaming for the big bros ┗┫━━ ┃ ━━┣┛ ┣┫ ┃ ━━━━━ ┃ ┏┳┫┣┳┓ ┗━━┳━┳━━┛ ┃ ┃ ━━━━┃ ┃ ┗━┳┳━

This is the only play I could fine video of the C levels being beaten. Was super helpful for me, TY
How you solved Track 4 with that Nitro-Boosts in the end is insanely good!
I still have copy with my gbc. Mega time waster. Loved every bit of this game
Same
Somehow, i always thaught that this was an Excitebike game :P
Haha i still remember flying through the levels with nitro :D
I bet almost everyone got this on a XX in 1 pirate game cartridge.
Great game, though!
Cristiano yeah, 72 in 1 was actually 6 in 1 but last 66 were the same games with other names :D

What do all of the icons in this game mean? I know T is for time and N is for Nitro but do the others represent?

My favorite game in my GB
地面に刺さって
独走がすきです!
C面はガス欠の恐怖に陥りやすい中で、うp主はよくクリアできるなーと感心する。
ちなみにNPCも対戦させて1面か2面で独走すると、NPCが失格(LOST)になる。
I had no idea you could use the D pad in this game
after all these years still i can play level one only
You can get the “Jet” and other smaller bikes while flying up and spin it
Looks like fun game, I played some motocross on my PS1, when I was little
What was the purpose of those mini bikes that follow you?
This game is reminiscent of Excitebike for the NES.

Better buy a MiYoo mini plus for that money and play as much games you want.
This first track sounds like it came straight from a Pokemon game
:D
Fabulous game for just 8KB!
Memories :')
Very good game and OST.
I remember that game
Kickass music!
Joder mi infacia :')
Respected

I have a gameboy color
Konami GB Collection Vol.3 (PAL) Konami GB Collection Vol.2 (JPN)
This could easily be an iOS game :-D
it is already if you have a gameboy emulator
unlimited nitro is not fair '!!
Stop hitting the nitro when it isn't necessary and you wouldn't run out of it.
I wish it didn't say NTR on the HUD.
How do you even play that crap game???!!!?!?!?!!??!!!!!??!?!??!
They try to play everything, and no this game isn't crap. Simplistic yes, bad, no.
Wowsers
