MarzYou are going to love playing Dead Space i advice you play the second and the 3rd Dead space and Evil Within 2 are 2 of my favorite horror games but I would love to see your emotions playing Evil within 2 lol its not just horror game to iits probably one of the most emotional beautiful games i ever played the 20 times i play it i cry everytime but its one of those Good Feeling cries for the soul hope u can play it if you havent yet

@realdomdom i played through the original dead space dozens of times back when it released, one of my favorite games of all time. However, after playing the remake, i wouldnt ever play the original version again. The dead space remake is probably the best remake of any game thats ever existed.
the necromorph mix with human voice was scary and beautiful. its like the victim conscious was still in there but in agony and uncontrollable

Seeing how often she wails into enemies, beating them senseless with the melee, she is gonna LOVE the weighted blades upgrade you can get for the plasma cutter that knocks them flat on their ass LOL
The Ishimura had like a tractor beam to automatically guide in ships to the landing bay, but they had been sabatoged and would instead pull ships into the hull. That's why the ship crashed!
Everyone always says how Dead Space is too "on the nose" and obvious about telling the player to aim for the necromorph's limbs to kill them, and I used to agree with this. Seeing Marz aiming at their chests made me rethink that hahaha

Playing this remake is both familiar and fresh. I loved the 2008 original and the second one. The third game was too action heavy and not atmospheric horror that made these games memorable

hey marzzz. always go for the legs first, and you should use the environment more.. lure the necros towards the red canisters and shoot them, its an insta kill.

Isaac needs a Katana? Seriously he isn't a war hero. He's an engineer using literal Mining Tools to survive.
In video games, one doesn’t need to be a war hero to use a katana. The point was, in this situation, a katana would be very useful for limb slicing, it wasn’t a statement meant to take literally.
Pulse Rifle: "A military grade assault rifle" (that Isaac knows and uses pretty efficiently)

I'm not a fan of her redesign she hit the wall or Isaac's either for that matter. I know he looks more like the V.A now but they dont hire voice actors for their looks.

Been a while since I could watch a good long video but this game really brings me back and I can't wait to see how you navigate through the rest of this game
It took me a bit to understand the controls and what to do but after getting the hang of it, this game is SO much fun!

The game is a marvel. It's biggest and deeper than callisto but only half the size in terms of download size. Also runs much smoother.
Ah it's such a joy watching newbies play dead space and struggle with the idea of DISMEMBERING enemies to kill them(and shooting wildly) or people coming off of Callisto protocol and trying to spam Melee attacks.
What confuses me the most is how are people getting so confused with the fact that with the Plasma cutter you can change the aiming between horizontal or vertical which helps in cutting off arms,heads, legs,wings,tails, and tentacles.
Dead Space is my all time favourite survival horror game. I loved the 2008 original but they really outdid themselves with this remake. I just completed it on PS5 with phenomenal 3D headset audio and I’m now going to enjoy a NG+ experience with new enemies/ collectibles & a brand new ending.

@@zackfair6791 I don't think so. It's her 1st time I believe. I don't like the way. She is playing by using male attack and wasting her health and med pack. Hope she changes. A male attack is good when she should see the enemy seems weak. Or almost out of ammo. It's not an action game like Doom. It's survival horror. But I'm glad she is playing it.

Naah a lot of people playing this game use controller. Marz isn't a controller person overall it seems. She could play the game with K&M but chose not to unless she bought this on console, which in that case, that was her mistake.
Edit: wait she bought this on PC, then there's no excuse not to use K&M.
Isaac is unfazed by this because he was in the military as a marine if you finished reading his background file in the beginning of the game.

Hey, great time watching. Why he's hunched over reminds me of the Navy in the 80's and 90's. For firefighting they wore OBAs and the oxygen canisters were on the stomach and waste and hang down on the front. I think it was like that for squatting down to avoid smoke.

1:04:09 Another confirmation why I still love to still play shooters (either in first person or third person) with a frickin MOUSE 😄
(I stiII kinda suck at playing shooters with the damn controller even if I have a PS3 and a PS4.. but my first years of gaming were rather on the PC and I still love playing shooters on PC with mouse and keyboard. It just feels more natural (even in movement) for me).
I played all three of the original Dead Space games on the ps3 and they are my absolute favorite horror games of all time.
Doom 3 was better. Scarier. And dead space copied ALOT from that game.
I dont remember ever seeing Isaac's face in the original. But that was a long time ago.

It's really cool that the Necromorphs kept the more human features like they had in Dead Space 2. It's disgusting. Love it.
Original was better. This ship is not Ishimura it is just a ship called Ishimura. Ishimura has his own charm, this ship just a ship. In remake scare screamers. Original scare just showing a wall. All in original Daed Space made to make player get scared, feel himself alone in the Ship like in abyss. Player in original İshimura gets scary of his own shadow. Ishimura was a one big scary monster. This is not Dead Space. It is just place of dead ones.
1:04:09 - Rotating the cutter makes all the difference in how fast you can dismember certain things. Your aim isn't bad, but if you cutter is turned the wrong way, its just really hard to get certain limbs
To answer any confusion over some of the Slashers not having any uniforms on....
during the outbreak and mutation, there were crew members in the showers.
By the way, the history background about Isaac is important. You'll come to know that his mother gave everything to the Church of Unitology after they manipulated her then left her aside, thus also leaving Isaac with no money for tuition. Isaac hates the Church of Unitology for this.
