You'd be surprised how accurate Dylan's portrayal is. The willingness to try, but yet, the understanding of no real relationship development I feel was accurate; the love and anger (not hate) often comes across very non-committal and undecided in the daily interaction in real life. It's a survival tactic of one day at a time, and his character dealing with his own relationship was very much at a point in his life of taking one day at a time. Kids want to love and give their parents a chance, even the shitty ones.
That’s a really great point. I can tell you from experience with my father and his father. They haven’t talked in 20 years and I don’t think they ever will. I would love to see their relationship go that way but it won’t happen. air is nice to see it on screen though. Also thank you for the comment so really appreciate it.
@@LetsTalkEntertainmentMedia It’s easy when you love the movie so much. I don’t know why it surprises me when I find others that love it as much as I do.
It’s one of those movies that isn’t appreciated enough and i’m not sure why. Maybe it’s just the era of movies? But i’ve always thought it was great and has some great performances!
Forgotten slow burn Paul Newman classic & good job buddy 🍻
Thank you I appreciate it!
@@LetsTalkEntertainmentMedia Did you pre-order Kino Lorber "Marathon Man"4k & Shout Factory "They Live"4k Steelbook?
Didn’t order they live because I have the regular 4k with the slip and yepe all ready pre ordered Marathon Man and the 1969 Italian Job from Kino.
@@LetsTalkEntertainmentMedia "They Live" 4k steelbook looks awesome with great artwork & I thought you double dip?
I do double dip but I don’t know if I can on that one but i’m on the fence because I just watched the 4k like a month ago lol
