as an ou fan I really like bill snider . he is one of few guys that can beat Oklahoma on a consistent basis. he beat us many times I remember 2003 going into the game I thought we would blow them out but they blew us out . mad respect for bill hope he has a good life after coaching . boomer sooner

This game was so important for OU. People do not appreciate what this game showed OU. In the past 7 seasons, fans would have walked out and given up hope when behind two TD's. This changed everything.

Actually you're wrong... Mike Stoops coaching career goes from 1999-2003 and 2012-now... between 2004-2011, OU has beaten them 31-21, 43-21, 58-35, 42-30, 58-17. OU never trailed a single moment in any of those games... With Mike Stoops, OU has lost 3 times to K-State (2 in 4 seasons) and trailed multiple times.

OU fans, we have to face the facts that we are not going to steam roll through the conference this year. The league is improved and the games are going to be closer and tougher. Consider the coaching mismatch in this game...Bill Snyder vs. Lincoln Riley. Coach Snyder had been coaching for about 16 years by the time Lincoln was born. Consider that we went into a hostile environment against a team that has football Yoda for a head coach, played a below average first half and still won. I'll take a win under those circumstances any day of the week. This team is going to be fine.
Correct. Snyder is a master. LR, is prodigy but he's still young. It was a positive seeing the adjustments Riley is able to make though.

It definitely says something that it took 12 minutes to get through the second half highlights, but only 6 to get through the first half.

He looked slow and Kstate actually tackles unlike half the Big 12. I think Anderson had the extra speed needed against them. I think Adams would have feasted on Kstate, even though he's not my favorite back on the team.
All in all a win tho. Some how we are getting it done on the road. For that, thumbs up to Riley. Damn that Iowa State game son!

Wow, our first half red zone offense was awful. Like worst i've ever seen from the Sooners awful. Just run the offense and put it in the end zone. Out tricked ourselves. Same with the trick play in the second half. We had taken control of the game at that point and driving easily to another TD with our base offense. Oh well....wonder if head coaching while calling the plays is throwing Riley off.

KS got away with a lot of holding and pass interference, go back and watch our games, don't watch the ball watch the other team's OL and db's, the referees haven't called a game fair all year and IS got it all their way, it just reminds me of the first game with Oregon, if you don't believe a college football game can't be fixed watch that game or the OSU game last year, yes OU have won all but one but they have only won by a few points, I mean KS didn't get a penalty until the 4th quarter almost the same way with TX, watch the rest of the season and see if I'm telling the truth, watch the OL, DB'S SAFETIES AND WATCH THE OPPOSING TEAM GET AWAY WITH TARGETING

K-State ran at will. OU got lucky once again. Choklahoma is not all that and a bag of chips. K-State beat by Vanderbilt and OU has a time beating a 3-4 team. OUCH.
