probably the worst officiated OU, Texas game I ever watched, and I've watched a bunch! never saw so many holds by an O line than that Texas line Saturday. Their o line sucks and the officials just let them hold all game til the 4th qutr!? don't understand why they allowed them to get away with soooo many holds?? it should have never even been a game but the officials kept Texas in it. by the 4th qutr Texas still had only ONE penalty flag!!?? ONE?? terrible officials!

2016 was worse in my opinion. They tried so hard to help Charlie keep his job, but he's just a shit coach. This last year they let Texas hold all game, but called the game right when it mattered. Last years game would have been a blow out if they didn't stop it. Baker was just a really special player. OU could have been a 4 loss team easy without him.

Texas held all day, we actually get that call, and all the Texas boards were up in arms saying the refs were on our side. The delusion is strong in Austin, on and off the field.
I did not see any holding but I did see a lot of high hit cheap shots by the sooners!

2017 Oklahoma Sooners are lacking what they have for years now. Defense. They will never be a true contender until the defense learns to play nastier.
I actually thought our defense was very good in this game. Thought on a couple drives, the refs were a big reason Texas scored and came back. Lastly, Ellenger looks like the real deal. A feisty player like Mayfield with a ton of confidence.
It was an improvement and I will agree they had a lot of help on some plays. Some of these long plays they gave up were very preventable though.
I mean if you just watch, look how far back the CBs play from the WRs. They defiantly need to work on it. I think it's just Mike Stoops
