Never too early! Every father should teach their lil girl (children) how to defend themselves. We as parents/ fathers will not be around forever. The best thing we can do when we leave this world is knowing your children have been brought up to make good decisions w/ “skills” to protect themselves.
See theres a difference between teaching your kid to fight and teaching your kid to defend themselves. The couple is the perfect example of teaching your kid to fight, constantly picking on people, looking for trouble and confrontation, the dad shows how to defend, he doesnt start anything, he was calm and respectful the whole time, and was the one to try to diffuse the situation, only time he had to use force was to protect himself from a sucker punch (cheap shot btw)
My Daddy taught me how to defend myself, and it's come in handy a few times, too. What my Daddy didn't teach me, my Momma taught me, but my Daddy taught me the stuff that could hurt or kill depending, and he always told me told me to get scared later, but to think while I was in the situation, because because because being scared would get me killed because I wouldn't be able to think straight and that piece of advice saved mine and my daughter's life one night when I was 22 and she was 2. When I started dating, my Daddy took me to the shooting range and taught me how to shoot, and it was like a right of passage in my family. My Momma was so excited when we got back and asked how I did, and my Daddy told her that I could do some serious damage, I just enjoyed spending time with my Daddy. In my family, even the females were taught about gun safety, and everyone was also taught not to pull out your weapon if you don't intend to use it, and definitely don't stand there stand there shaking and threatening to shoot, fire a shot into the person's shoulder as a warning shot. I know that there's this big whoop de do about being in your feminine energy, but my ex-husband and other exes have told people that what they loved about me was that they could go somewhere or thay I could go out with my friends, and they knew that I could take care of myself. My ex-husband told his friends that I was one hell of a Momma and he knew that I would kick anyone's butt who tried to hurt our daughter and I didn't fight to lose. My Daddy also taught me how to fight dirty and he said that he did that because I was tiny and I needed an advantage. So hell yes teach your daughters how to defend themselves and the difference between a fight and defense, but at some times they may need to fight, and how they can make a weapon out of almost anything. It doesn't make them any less feminine, but they don't need to get a false sense of bravado either, just confidence. Plus teach them that if they do get scared to use it to their advantage because I'm not going to say that I've never been scared, because I have, and I get extremely angry when I get scared and I use that anger from being scared to help me. Our daughters need to know how to protect themselves as well as our sons do.
This reminds me of the scene from the second Lord of the Rings, where the young woman is training with a sword. Paraphrasing here: about the women staying behind still needed to know how to use a sword.
@mausercal65 when was the last time any of them defended themselves with a weapon? Don't bother answering, we all know it never happened but it's fun to pretend right?

I'd be proud of my dad if I was that girl. Grabbed from behind and still decks his assailant, though he almost went too far. Stopped himself though. Good on him for teaching his daughter to defend herself.
He was bare handed -- the other guy was bare handed -- Being attacked from behind is basically a life or death situation -- And the cop saw everything --
If everyone knew how actually defend themselves... we wouldn't be here now... the jerks portrayed in this film would already have been taught! So emphatically yes, teach your daughter to DEFEND herself, and that her brain is her strongest muscle.
Definitely a great lesson could be learned by many, if they chose to. However, every narcissist is thinking that they are right and everybody else is wrong.
I got in trouble for defending myself a few times dealing with bullies and the last time they gave me detention my mother called my cellphone and asked where I was. When I explained the situation she told me to come home and she’ll handle them. They asked me what I was doing at the front door and I said my mother said I need to go home so Im going home and left. We never did get another call after that 🤔 😂
I believe he did right teaching his child to defend herself! You have a right to defend yourself. Defending yourself and looking for trouble are two main different things.
I remember telling my son that he couldn't hit anyone, but he had the right to defend himself. A kid at school was bugging him until my son finally couldn't take it anymore and punched the other one in the nose. I was called to the principal's office because when my son was asked why he hit that boy, he said that his dad told him to :D
In the 1990's while serving in the Aus Army I taught my niece's how to defend themselves. 8 months later my 14 yr old niece beat up her 18 yr old boyfriend after he punched my 10yr nephew & Busted his nose. She threw him down a flight of stairs, he broke his wrist & dislocated his shoulder & suffered facial injuries. He ran to the cops who investigated & ended up telling him. Do you really want the town to know you were beaten up by a 14 year old girl for beating her 10 year old brother. He left town.
“Do you think it’s a good idea to teach your little girl to fight?” Yes what’s the alternative? Letting her get attacked? Better question where were you miss responsibility and the other teacher while some freak put his hands on my daughter twice and took her stuff? No matter what I will always teach my child how to defend and fight because bullying can happen at anytime. I am not sorry for teaching my daughter/son to defend herself/himself
Yeah, my kid got bullied at Boy Scout camp one year. I simply asked the scout master if he was running things by the rule of law or the law of the jungle so I could tell my kid which set of rules to operate under. He had no trouble after that.
I always taught my kids, never bully anyone and if I ever get a complaint from the school that you've been bullying people you're not gonna like the punishment that I'm gonna dish out!
typical that the school therapist/councellor phrases the question in such a way to make it sound negative "Do you think it's a good idea to teach your daughter how to FIGHT?" when he said he taught her to defend herself, fed up of people using underhanded ways to imply things a certain way, see it all the time IRL, and it gets exhausting calling them out when they mis-characterise what you did/said
My dad didn't teach my sisters to defend themselves. I did. Concealed "pointy"s lipstick and "shocky" flashlights are a girl's best accessory in defense.
The lady manipulating and emotionally forcing her husband to take on a fight is exactly what's wrong with modern gen women. If he takes on a fight, he might lose or get hurt, if he doesn't, his wife would call him "weak" and "fragile" which no man wants to hear from his own wife.
I have a niece who had an angry sister; she hated that my niece's father was involved in her life and her dad was nowhere to be found. Sad, I know. She behaved aggressively towards my niece until one day, my niece got sick of it and boxed her out. Her dad thought her boxing at a young age. Nowadays, the chances of parents staying active in a childs life have dropped drastically... know that if you have children and both mom and dad are involved, the kids at their school are watching them. Teach them how to defend themselves.

Damn that mom was annoying, get em jimmy doh 😂
The mother of the other child played her part so well lol, I hated her.

Never too early! Every father should teach their lil girl (children) how to defend themselves.
We as parents/ fathers will not be around forever. The best thing we can do when we leave this world is knowing your children have been brought up to make good decisions w/ “skills” to protect themselves.
I mean, I’m teaching my daughters how to box right now and they are three and seven years old so…..never too early

Dudes woman is gonna get him killed 😂
For real!
@@TimothyGodhappens in real life all the time !
Very underrated Jason Statham movie! I enjoyed this one!
Taught all my girls how to shoot & keep their knives sharp .
Are they married?
Too bad they aren't holding weapons all the time. When do they pull the piece? Weapons don't work for defence
@@benmyers9030 😂😂😂
almost reminds me of hitgirl from kickass
@mausercal65 when was the last time any of them defended themselves with a weapon? Don't bother answering, we all know it never happened but it's fun to pretend right?
She and her dad did amazingly. We must train our kids like that.
Thanks
Justice is best served when you do it yourself.
I hate teachers like this so yall ok with the lil piggie pickin on lil girls but yall get mad when that lil girl isn’t so defenseless after all smh
Idk man
The educational system is so screwed i dont even know what they think about half the time in these situations
Dont be angry with her shes did what she was supposed to do to defend herself that's what my sweet pea will do
Unless she encounters danger, then she'll do nothing
He's not angry at her. You have to act like you are when you get to school.
Clancy Brown, Jason Statham, James Franco in a relatable role. What's not to like?
Clancy Brown is always amazing
Once: Get in the truck
twice:Get in the truck
thrice: Get in the truck
fourth time: Get in the truck
fifth: Get in the truck
Many months later :Get in the truck
Her : 🙆♀🤡
Me : which part of your brain doesn't understand what he's saying??? 😂😂😂
I'd be proud of my dad if I was that girl. Grabbed from behind and still decks his assailant, though he almost went too far. Stopped himself though.
Good on him for teaching his daughter to defend herself.
He was bare handed -- the other guy was bare handed --
Being attacked from behind is basically a life or death situation --
And the cop saw everything --
If everyone knew how actually defend themselves... we wouldn't be here now... the jerks portrayed in this film would already have been taught!
So emphatically yes, teach your daughter to DEFEND herself, and that her brain is her strongest muscle.
Weakness is not kindness. Having zero power is not something to aspire toward.
Try kindness is not weakness, don't mistake one for the other.
That teacher is so out of touch. Nothing wrong with teaching your kid self defense and sticking up for yourself.
"you gonna let gim get away with that?" With what? For defending himself after your husband attacked him? Lmfao
Definitely a great lesson could be learned by many, if they chose to.
However, every narcissist is thinking that they are right and everybody else is wrong.
Narcissistic from being a Drug Addict. No wonder why the kid is a bully. Bad Kid comes from a bad parents
I like how she says take him down jimmy after the fact he’s been taken down lol
Always teach your kids to defend themselves
Wicked good movie 😅
One of my favorite Statham films.
Textbook case of "fuck around, and find out."
Damn the father and the son beat up at the same day😂
Jason statham👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Well, Jimmy had to deal with not only the Transporter, but the Kurgan too!
She nailed the character as Karen👏
I would get a new wife. That woman is toxic!
“Do you think it’s a good idea to teach your little girl to fight?” Yes what’s the alternative? Letting her get attacked? Better question where were you miss responsibility and the other teacher while some freak put his hands on my daughter twice and took her stuff? People should know how to defend themselves regardless of age
Schools never see who starts it. Only who finishes it.
Facts
Her:do you think it's a good idea to teach her how to fight
Me:do you think it's a good idea to do nothing while other childrens in this school get bullied but only react when they starts to fight back ?
Her: ...............
The psychologist really giving her shit, ignoring the fact that the boy pushed her to the ground first. Then acting like she’s the one at fault.
Teacher:"You think it's a good thing to teach your little girl to fight"
The Dad:"what part of only defend herself, did you not get"
Nobody ever wants to get involved until the bully is crying. Someone make it make sense, please.
Exactly, teachers be blind until the bully gets consequences then all of a sudden its zero tolerance and violence ain't the answer
Could say the teacher was alerted by a commotion in the playground and when got there all she saw was the girl giving the smackdown.
In reality, teachers know who the bullies are.
James statham is a good actor love his rolse as a fighter in all his movies 😂💯😁👌
Southern parents be like…
But then they mess with the wrong person 😏
any sugestion for a movies like this ?
Whenever a school offical scoffs at calling a kid a bully, you know they have a huge problem with bullying.
This happened to my daughter, told the boy twice to stop touching her and there wasn't a third time. I defended her action as any father should.
I lived this parent/teacher meeting with remarkably similar dialogue.
I almost went across the desk onto the VP.
No matter what I will always teach my child how to defend and fight because bullying can happen at anytime. I am not sorry for teaching my daughter/son to defend herself/himself
This is an example of taking the zero tolerance on bullies in the wrong direction. They punish the person defending themselves along with the bully.
Fight scene aside, Clancy Brown is one of the coolest and underrated actors ever!
Yeah, my kid got bullied at Boy Scout camp one year. I simply asked the scout master if he was running things by the rule of law or the law of the jungle so I could tell my kid which set of rules to operate under. He had no trouble after that.
I’m high functioning autistic. Parents should NEVER use their children has a crutch.

Clancy Brown is cool.
I blame the dad, no one owe you any apology. If you can't control yourself, how you expect your son not to behave that way.
I always taught my kids, never bully anyone and if I ever get a complaint from the school that you've been bullying people you're not gonna like the punishment that I'm gonna dish out!
typical that the school therapist/councellor phrases the question in such a way to make it sound negative "Do you think it's a good idea to teach your daughter how to FIGHT?" when he said he taught her to defend herself, fed up of people using underhanded ways to imply things a certain way, see it all the time IRL, and it gets exhausting calling them out when they mis-characterise what you did/said
This looks like a great movie to watch
It is!
It is a good movie
That it is indeed. Get it, take some snacks of your liking, curl up in your favourite chair/sofa/whatever and enjoy. 🙂
Poor man.
