- Wow what a fantastic day we had coin shooting with the Minelab Equinox 800 today😲...For just a few hours, we found some 15 silver coins, plus pennies and with minimal rubbish to!
What a bloody amazing site to hunt🙌

Wow, what a great treasure to trash ratio finding those silvers! Your research and how well you know the nox really pays off. And thanks to those cows keeping the grass low🐮I've had the nox a little over a year. Some good finds but still have more to learn. So, always appreciate your vids and the tips.

That is I dream site! The junk/treasure ratio is just nuts. Minelab would need to use this hunt to sell detectors.

This was amazing hunt Luke! Nice bunch of silvers! I love the way you talk about Zavier and Dom and take them out detecting! You are like the best dad ever! I wish I had been detecting when my mom was alive, she would've enjoyed it. She couldn't walk but that was never a problem cause we had a wheelchair. Nice old padlock and finding a pen that actually works. Lol. Take care my friend. 💖💯
Thankyou so much @Julie Griffin all my life i wanted to be a Dad and have kids, so now having both Zavier and Dominic around, I try to be the best role model and father to them that I can. Life is way to short and growing up into an adult is no fun😅 I always tell both boys there only job in life is to play and enjoy there childhood as much as they can, cause once it's gone...it's gone forever!
Nice to be getting them out exploring new sites, finding a bit of history...and off those games to🙂

@@DigItDetecting I would've turned out different that's for sure. Not screwed up as much. My mom was extremely strict too and my dad always worked so... I did a lot of stuff I shouldn't have.

Hi Luke, i normally run in park1, if i apply your setting to park2 would i still get the same results
Hi there @nzwarriorsmen unfortunately my settings can only be set in Park 1 mode mate.
Park 2 mode is limited to the settings that can be adjusted👍

It's forbidden in Switzerland where i live to search public grounds or other private grounds with a metal dedector.
Thats a real shame @stern13 as some of these old grounds are holding so many wonderful old coins and relics⛏ Best of luck and happy hunting out there mate.

There is a reason why. May a private person find in Switzerland with a metal dedector a treasure (lot of coins etc.) from the roman empire and he/she will keep it instead give it to the state or a museum. That's why it's generally forbidden as a private person to search things with a metal dedector in Switzerland.
Oh I see, well that's probably fair enough to though @stern13 and stops alot of items from being removed and lost.

Hay,if your getting tired of finding SILVER COIN'S then you can put them back into the ground,ha,ha,ha. Which particular Minelab Metal Detector are you using, the 600 or 800 ? And how big is your coil? What dimension?
I am not to sure I will ever get sick of finding the silvers @Craig Bosko they are just amazing mate👌
I am also running the equninox 800 and the 11inch standard coil in this video, however just recently I hunted there again with the little 6inch and had even more success!

@Lance Rudy the settings i use are shown at the start of the video, plus i share the TID numbers as i detect...watch closely mate😉
What is the percentage of the silver?
These all vary in silver content @Dawn The Metal Detective however most silver coins pre 1946 are 92.5% and the later ones they reduced it down to only 50% silver🙂

Silver as in pure silver coins?
The silver coins we had circulating here in Australia up until 1946 thereabouts @Jody were all 92.5% silver mate. Only after WW2 ended and year later in 1946 they dropped it to 50% That run up until our pre-decimal changeover took place on 14th February 1966. Now we just have coins with high amounts of zinc, copper, nickle etc in our modern currency.
