I believe that clear glass mystery piece is either a butter press or a cheese press. There probably was at one time another glass piece that it would fit into. I remember my great grandmother had a press something like that except it was a round/ovalish shape. . She used it to make farmer cheese when the milk was past it's prime. Enjoy and be sure to look for the bottom of your press.
Went to my first bins in Brunswick Georgia today. That store is not as nice as yours, but it was fun. Spent 2.00. Flip up the teacher's dress, it is typically marked I collect those.

I have the exact bread box, but i keep three jars with sugar, and a variety of teas. I love mine. I also love the paper weight, but my favorite for today is the love birds! ❤️

Your bins are nice. Mine is a big mess. Every thing just dumped into the big blue boat bins. Broken glass everywhere, nothing separated. I have found some nice things though. Last time I found a Stanley electric stapler that was like new. Going tomorrow and hopefully will find something.
