Those wire racks are a disaster waiting to happen!! They're not designed to hold breakables!! They need to put plexiglass on them, and the sooner the better!! So glad you were not injured!!💞
Lol right! I've watched her for years and learned sooooo much. Now, she can use all points of grip, including armpits and knees, to hold items and a camera while holding Laurel 😂 she even manages to keep Laurel from getting a hold of stuff which in my opinion is SUPER MOM 🥰
The Hagen Renakers brought back so many memories! I remember as a kid, seeing them lined up in the window of the mom and pop hardware store and I would stare at them and admire them. I saved up my allowance to get a cocker spaniel one. It took a long time (it was $5 and my allowance was 50 cents a week). But I did it!
Loved that you didn't edit out the vase breakage. Happens to a lot of people and great that you showed it can happen to anyone. Favorite time of day is when I go online & see a new video from you is up, woohoo!

I live in Carlisle Cumbria England and we have a wildlife centre, in the summer you can see the dragonflies hatch from the water, it takes 2 years for them to hatch. I love all the different colours

I like to go thrifting with a big stack of paper lunch bags. I have a couple different sizes, even reuse from other stores/restaurants when clean. It makes wrapping breakables very fast. I also bring my own shopping bag and radio flyer collapsible cart. 💕
Ohhh footed silver pitcher, even if just silver plate that was sweet. Everyone is hot into charcuterie these days, so to me any platter or board that would work for that type of presentation is worth picking up. That little cast iron elephant would be a score. That shell girl is likely a Florida souvenir from the 50's
I got excited about the Hagen Renaker figures too. I have a few. I used to have the monsters and kept them in my terrarium. They got broken unfortunately. I have been looking for replacements for years.

First time I've heard of Hagen Renaker figurines....I took a gander in eBay ....wouldn't it be neat if you had that "Doeskin Horse" ...wowzers....quite the collection....t'will be interesting to see them listed, or in your whatnot sale.....
Tim at over the 6:446:45 years is a great glass guy, he suggested purchasing Kovels' Dictionary of Marks: Pottery And Porcelain, 1650 to 1850 & Kovels' New Dictionary of Marks: 1850 to the Present they are great books super helpful
If I remember correctly, Hagen Renaker figures were sold at the Coach House Gifts at our local mall when I was a kid in the late 80's. They weren't expensive so I had quite a few.
After cleaning over 30 bakery boxes of grease pen marks, the very best thing I found that is safe gentle but works every time is Awesome Cleaner from Dollar Tree( well $1.25 lol) it cut right through it in a matter of a few seconds.... Love that cleaner.

Check for a white prancing circus pony and a grey draft horse in harness in those Hagen Rennakers. I sold one of each of those for $100 per horse!!! Paid $1/each for mine at a yard sale.
I have collected Hagen Renniger horses for over20 years. Mostly at Devon horse show or Dressage at Devon horse show. Can't wait till you post them for sale so i can bid on them. Yeah!!!!

I love watching you shop. Your excitement for the figurines reminds me of last week at Goodwill for me. I quilt and some had donated a ton of quilting fabric and precuts. I cleared the hanger section and the bins. A full cart. I finally understood the rush people say they get.
So I admittedly had to google the figurine maker you were so excited about...and omg I was so excited to see I collected those in elementary school! I even found them in my deep deep storage bins. 😂

I totally recognize that spilled milk from my childhood. I used to have that and some cats. I had completely forgotten until I saw your video. I don’t remember what the cats looked like. Never heard of Hagen whatever they are called though. That’s so cool when really old memories pop up like that. I wonder what ever happened to my cats and milk?
I'm glad you didn't cut yourself with the broken glass, especially since it was near your foot. I collected miniatures in the 70's and 80's and they are all packed away but I know I have some Hagen Rennicker figures, but not gremlins. The wire dollhouse furniture is a good find, I know they were popular in the 80's.

I would have had a heart attack if I found all those Hagen Renakers! They are near and dear to my heart. I grew up in Southern California and collected them (inspired by mother who had her own collection, including many of the big, beautiful Maureen Love horses). I have certain ones that I will keep forever, but I've also sold quite a few of them. They may be going up in price now, too, because HR in San Dimas closed down at the end of 2021 (a company in Tennessee licensed them and are still doing some production, but it's not the same thing). My son and I had the pleasure of getting a guided tour of the production facility from Sue Nikas back in the early 2000s. She was so kind to us, it was a real joy. Congratulations to you on what I consider an amazing score!
Davis Douglas Glassware has a high value. If you're back in Maryland you may want to look up that glass with gold ovenware his vintage items are highly desirable and may sale for up to $150 dollars.
I have about 7 variations of the glass vase that broke. Mine are all from floral deliveries. My boyfriend keeps me very spoiled with flowers. I’m donating all but a few. Keeping 2-3 for hospital visits or giftings from my garden. I could feel that vase hitting your foot! Hopefully you’re not too bruised. Glad you didn’t get cut.
Hi Joslyn, I can't believe you actually found doll furniture!? I always look and never ever see it. It can go for a lot of $, along with doll clothes. I haven't found any except one set of Amercian doll clothes which I bought at a garage sale from a little girl. She had them pre-bagged up so I thought they were a set,,,but they were just mismatched and I am not having luck selling LOL. But good luck on the doll house furniture. Let us know how it goes.

it take 1-5 weeks for a dragon fly to hatch not 2 years,
