I agree Kubota foes use the minimum filters on their smsller machines, but they do work well if you change em like the manuals say too, i think its more important to fuel from a filtered tank, not just open gas cans. It makes a difference for my equipment.
Just the first one from the tank. I left the filter just before the injection pump since it is east to access and can serve as a final safety in case any contaminants get in while changing the other filter.
I have a Kubota BX2680 with 300 hours on it and this tractor has been nothing but trouble since buying it new. My last BX was trouble free for over 20 years. This will be my last Kubota.

I run a filter on my transfer tank so I probably would not have had any trouble. Ease of changing was one reason I went to this setup.
