speaking from experience "licensed by the military" means it was the cheapest possible product to mass produce that works maybe 60% of the time and can be fixed by an 18 year old with 3 months of training.
Really? Even when upgraded, and getting an ideal position /timing before firing. Everyone just high G turns them off in a flash. My standard missiles just miss every time. I simply can't trust any weapon with the words 'miss' in it. Homing and speed upgrades don't help me at all. I've had more reliability with my guns and special weapons. EML, PLSL, TLS(you can see the trend going here ) with the exception of yup you guessed it QAAM. SASM are the only exception but they don't count, you don't actually have to hit them to get damage(Noob Tube weapons in the air) What are you doing to set them up? LOL
CHIEFSHOTTY homing speed and power and position yourself really close to your target to the point where they dont have the time to react. That makes it a guaranteed hit
Awesome vid! Something that I find annoying are players who prey on newer ones with F16s while they are using F22s (what a surprise, huh) only to try to get ahead. Having said this, I try to prevent them from killing those intercepting them and taking them out with the EML or chase them enough as for them to stop focusing on the F 16. Gotta keep the AC community healthy as we want more and newer people into this amazing franchise :D
It can be OP in certain situations, although because its the most used plane in MP you can occationally see 5 people with F22s in a lobby using it only with QAAMs maxed. It becomes annoying when you are chasing a player while dodging missiles that spin 3 times without disappearing

I don't know. I kinda favor high maneuverability, but I believe it could depend on the aircraft. With that said, I have to agree with you about the X-02S. I tried it out in multiplayer and that thing is so hard to keep steady while aiming. And just to say, it's really nice of you that you share your own strategies to help people develop their own. I'd be afraid to do that. XD
F-15C With PLSL is great for matches with a 2250 cost limit. The SU-57 with PLSL is great, too, but with parts it'll put you above 2500 so you'd better pray nobody in the room has the X-02S.
@@telemarketoii i would go with flight distance over lock on range, give each qaam more chances to hit the target before missing, and it already has a ridiculous flight time as it is.

Love your vids! Super smart advice on only adjusting the pitch. That will help enourmously as the strategy with MGP is basically the same. I usually get ganged up on. A lot of the lobbies in both game modes feature guys that only play together so even when I am using the fishbed, once someone gets shot down I have had every person in the match spamming missiles at me till it ends, match after match. I am still hooked on multiplayer anyway. This is a very satisfying Ace Combat game
I also utilise the su33 with the reccesed EML superb. Arduous at first but I am more satiated with the destroy rather than QAAM or any miscellaneous special weapons.
@Ace Combat Fan I would love to see you do build guides with different planes and weapons for campaign missions explaining why you chose what you did while showing gameplay of it in basically the same format this vid was done in. That kind of video I think would be popular and could give you plenty of content to pump out it's a win win. What do you guys think?
I remembered back when Ace Combat: Infinity was still around, I used to be MVP during co-op missions and only used Rafale M -Mobius 7- Lvl. 9, I can't remember what parts I used.
You know those SASM proximity missiles no one uses? SASM is actually quite deadly because most people think they've evaded it but will still be hit by the AOE attack. With upgraded homing, they are incredibly dangerous, even more than the infamous QAAMs.
I’ve tried the EML first with the F/A-18F, then with the Su-33, and recently with the X-02S. Between the three, in my opinion, the EML works perfectly for all of them.

It takes practice, you have to take into account the bullet travel time as well. Its not just waiting for the enemy to enter the circle and shoot. I find it easier to shoot from very far away as the enemy won't be trying to actively evade my shots, they don't know Im even there or who I am shooting. You should try and predict their move patterns, then aim your railgun's center at where you would expect the enemy to be at soon, and take your shots. Don't hesitate, or you may miss a lot of golden opportunities. Once you're line up, fire away. Its not like QAAM where you can just spam away. This weapon takes skill and it is very rewarding.
Is it bad that I use a similar setup but flying with Standard controls? Idk I always flown Standard/Novice in Ace Combat because I suck with Expert/Normal, and for some strange reason, almost every multiplayer match I play in I get MVP with the Su-33 EML.

Can you PLEASE MAKE a VIDEO EXPLAINING PARTS, their usefulness with different planes/weapons. Its pretty confusing to look at the multiplayer upgrade tree, so for now im just grinding planes and upgrades in the campaign tree, but i know its not enough for multiplayer, for now i manage to avoid most missiles but get at most 3-5 kills per match, or none at all.
I wont go in to MP with some of these special weapons.....rail gun is basically point and shoot. The skill ceiling is kinda low compared to setting up a missle shot.
I so very rarely even get a hit in MP, I've tried QAAMs, SAAM, SASM etc and I only have 3 kills in well over 20 matches and hardly any of those matched I ever hit anyone because they are on steroids or something.

Between two highly skilled players in a PSM dogfight (Post Stall Maneuver), one of them uses the Su-33, which has partial PSM capability and is kinda of slow, while the other uses the X-02S, which has full PSM capability and is highly agile, both equipped with EML. Who has a better chance of winning a match? That's why I don't consider the Su-33 better for EML use compared to the X-02S because even if the player with the Su-33 tries to hit from a distance, the speed and maneuverability of the X-02S allow it to easily evade the opponent's EML shots and take him down.
I happen to have a 2000 cost Su-33 EML build that works pretty well. I believe I fitted the large hitbox part, the level 2 EML damage part, the auto machineguns part, and one other mobility part I can't remember right now. Basically, you can kill everything in the "2000 or less" class, but you can't dodge most missiles, so stay away from the center of the map while you pick everyone off from long distance. In my experience, everyone in the lobby WILL despise you for this and team up to try to kill you next match, so change rooms often.

@@FoxhoundIbby not really, unless you're good with the EML. I tried using it and had only one kill, while any noob can upgrade the QAAMs and just fire and forget.
I'd say use X-02 for real long range fighting and hit and run tactics. No one would try to go for an X-02 zooming at 4000 km/h. And instead of pitching use the rudders instead and slowly transition to pitch the closer you get.

Has been like 15 years since my last Ace Combat game which was back in the dialup days so MP was never really a thing for me.. lol now we just need one that goes over how to outfit a plane for different tiers on MP, for example a F-4A under a 2000 cap limit with no special weps, is it better to put in a couple tier 2 parts or focus on more tier 1's, do you focus on maneuverability or cram it all into missiles bonus's ect.
The Qaam needs a nerf! In fact the F22 needs a nerf! There is no way when in a close battle should this plane be able to out manuvure a SU 30,33 or 35- 57! The SU planes are the most manuvarable planes on the planet!
@Blueliner Jay Su-57 and F-22 are both almost equal in air superiority, they're the best fighters out there. Age doesn't mean anything to aviation in general.

@@effisjens1776 Actually, I've been using SASMs recently (as I want to get kills with the F-16C) and they aren't that easy to use. It is difficult to make 100% damage if you don't fire at the right angle (even with power upgrades) and sometimes they can be completely dodged by a well timed G-turn
Problem with EML is not that it's 1 shot one kill. It's that it's so beyond any realistic capacity that it ruins the dynamic of how fighter jets engage each other.
I mainly use the the Su-35S in the game. But I am really struggling with the parts config. I do really well with the 6AAM weapons, but just get frustrated as other planes that shouldn’t out turn me do! Anyone have suggestions?
I'm gonna have to try HVAAs on the YF-23 when PC comes out. I can imagine playing it in a somewhat stealthy way, sitting a little ways away and firing HVAAs on people when they have thier backs to you while trying to turn with someone else might be an effective strategy. Or maybe it would be better to do a more hit and run sort of thing with them.
I saw people do that hit and run tactic with a MIG-31b Foxhound, it is pretty effective (and I haven't found a way to counter it (T^T)). I haven't seen anyone trying a stealth build though so that actually sounds pretty interesting
@@majormissile5596 it is a mechanic. I saw F-22s disappearing from my radars sometimes, but just sometimes and it's probably because nobody have tried this "Stealth" build yet. You can upgrade stealth with some parts
@@shira_yone Ah. I know in all the other AC games it's basically that you can't see the enemy on the radar if they are behind you. Not sure if there's expanded stuff in thia game or not. Again, gonna have to try when PC comes out. Hopefully there will be enough players in MP on PC. I don't doubt it for the first few weeks, but hopefully they stick.
F-15 J HVAA (Havoc missles) greatly enchance power x2, x2 homing with bulletproof tank x2 ..is HELL in MP, i cant loss. I usually place 1st no lower than 3rd place on the PS4.
This is way more fun than LAAM lol. It is so satisfying to get a kill on an unsuspecting enemy 10k meters away. People really be sleeping on this weapon, probably because it is almost never used in Campaign due to how trash it is there, so they maybe don't even know it exists. Like you can't evade it exactly, you can't flare it, you don't get an alert, it is not affected by clouds, its like Snipers in BR games, sneaky and deadly.
You got any tips for the su35? I really like the plane, just losing with it in multiplayer now, only kills is usually that first head on pass because of the long range missles
buff the standard missiles damage, homing, and flight distance and go no special weapons, or buff the homing and speed on the LAAM's, i dont think damage makes a difference on them and you dont need more range. dont know if flight distance would make as much a difference to misses like it does to standard missiles, that would be interesting. i think the SU-35 caries enough missiles without the ammo increase part to last a match. its mostly about just being lucky enough to find the right angles and predicting when to fire to take advantage of it.

In Yuktobania, no one calls "Sukhoi" (except civil Sukhoi Superjet). We call them "Su-33" or sometimes "Sushka" without numbers.

I think one good thing with the standard missiles is that if you pick the reload time upgrade, you can actually spam them very fast.

I added stealth to the su 33 and man being a ghost sniper with an eml is 2x satisfying af

i have had a lot of success with the SASM, with bounus damage, homing and speed in the 2250 limit with the f15
Cant get plsl to work for me. It works nicely when i 1v1 but in a 8 players game? Nahh its too hard to line up while dodging
F-15J with QAAM power, homing, capacity, and lock on range can absolutely destroy in 2250 games

I used the X-02 a lot with the EML, but I will take the challenge of mastering the Su-33 with the EML.

I have a question do you think it’s useful to use your Machine gun on your fighter jet to get kills ?
I'd say use X-02 for real long range fighting and hit and run tactics. No one would try to go for an X-02 zooming at 4000 km/h. And instead of pitching use the rudders instead and slowly transition to pitch the closer you get.

Thanks, have been looking for a video like this for ages. Has been like 15 years since my last Ace Combat game which was back in the dialup days so MP was never really a thing for me.. lol now we just need one that goes over how to outfit a plane for different tiers on MP, for example a F-4A under a 2000 cap limit with no special weps, is it better to put in a couple tier 2 parts or focus on more tier 1's, do you focus on maneuverability or cram it all into missiles bonus's ect.

The Qaam needs a nerf! In fact the F22 needs a nerf! There is no way when in a close battle should this plane be able to out manuvure a SU 30,33 or 35- 57! The SU planes are the most manuvarable planes on the planet!

@Blueliner Jay Su-57 and F-22 are both almost equal in air superiority, they're the best fighters out there. Age doesn't mean anything to aviation in general.
Dude I just started playing the game (played the absolute shit out of the PS2 games though!), and I've been enjoying the SU-33 with the EML a LOT!
what about the F-18F? it also gets the EML, and can also perform PSM, albeit briefly

i prefer boost standard missiles like a QAAM
For two on two i recommend a upgraded mobility and spw sasm on the f15. The f15 is a good all rounder combined with a very effective burst missile.
But the burst missle is just as, if not more annoying then QAAM'S. There is no skill required to use it

@@effisjens1776 Actually, I've been using SASMs recently (as I want to get kills with the F-16C) and they aren't that easy to use. It is difficult to make 100% damage if you don't fire at the right angle (even with power upgrades) and sometimes they can be completely dodged by a well timed G-turn

Im usually just flying my Gripen with fully upgraded standard missiles and 6AAMs.
Man, if only the Su-35S could utilize that rail gun, I'd fly that plane until I die.
Problem with EML is not that it's 1 shot one kill. It's that it's so beyond any realistic capacity that it ruins the dynamic of how fighter jets engage each other.
Good thing non-SP lobbies are a thing.

I mainly use the the Su-35S in the game. But I am really struggling with the parts config. I do really well with the 6AAM weapons, but just get frustrated as other planes that shouldn’t out turn me do! Anyone have suggestions?
I'm gonna have to try HVAAs on the YF-23 when PC comes out. I can imagine playing it in a somewhat stealthy way, sitting a little ways away and firing HVAAs on people when they have thier backs to you while trying to turn with someone else might be an effective strategy. Or maybe it would be better to do a more hit and run sort of thing with them.
I saw people do that hit and run tactic with a MIG-31b Foxhound, it is pretty effective (and I haven't found a way to counter it (T^T)). I haven't seen anyone trying a stealth build though so that actually sounds pretty interesting
@@shira_yone I'm not sure how stealth works in AC7, but the YF-23 should be the most stealthy fighter in the game if it's a mechanic.
@@majormissile5596 it is a mechanic. I saw F-22s disappearing from my radars sometimes, but just sometimes and it's probably because nobody have tried this "Stealth" build yet.
You can upgrade stealth with some parts
@@shira_yone Ah. I know in all the other AC games it's basically that you can't see the enemy on the radar if they are behind you. Not sure if there's expanded stuff in thia game or not. Again, gonna have to try when PC comes out. Hopefully there will be enough players in MP on PC. I don't doubt it for the first few weeks, but hopefully they stick.

F-15 J HVAA (Havoc missles) greatly enchance power x2, x2 homing with bulletproof tank x2 ..is HELL in MP, i cant loss. I usually place 1st no lower than 3rd place on the PS4.

This is way more fun than LAAM lol. It is so satisfying to get a kill on an unsuspecting enemy 10k meters away. People really be sleeping on this weapon, probably because it is almost never used in Campaign due to how trash it is there, so they maybe don't even know it exists. Like you can't evade it exactly, you can't flare it, you don't get an alert, it is not affected by clouds, its like Snipers in BR games, sneaky and deadly.

You got any tips for the su35? I really like the plane, just losing with it in multiplayer now, only kills is usually that first head on pass because of the long range missles
buff the standard missiles damage, homing, and flight distance and go no special weapons, or buff the homing and speed on the LAAM's, i dont think damage makes a difference on them and you dont need more range.
dont know if flight distance would make as much a difference to misses like it does to standard missiles, that would be interesting. i think the SU-35 caries enough missiles without the ammo increase part to last a match.
its mostly about just being lucky enough to find the right angles and predicting when to fire to take advantage of it.
