I know that many already know how to perform post-stall maneuvers, but in this video, I want to address each step of the maneuvers. Also, I try to indicate which aircraft are capable of executing each type of post-stall maneuver, so that every player can improve them according to their own combat style.
I was wanting to make this video for a long time, but unfortunately, I haven't had much time to dedicate myself to my content.
Not to mention these crazy times that we are living. But I hope soon everything will be back to normal and I can organize myself.
I tried to show in a clearer way, how this post-stall maneuvering mechanism works, a novelty in the Ace Combat series.
The tutorial maneuvers exist in real life, I'll leave the maneuver links below, for those who want to check it out.
But in addition to these maneuvers, you can create your own maneuvers and your own flight style.

Rapaz nao consegui fazer de jeito nenhum, estou usando a aeronave correra. Tem que fazer alguma configuração específica para executar?

Não é necessário nenhuma configuração especial, a aeronave correta e as configurações básicas já podem fazer. O que pode estar acontecendo é:
No inicio da manobra, é preciso soltar o L2 quando atinge a velocidade correta... ai sim em seguida, rapidamente você aperta L2+R2 e analógico esquerdo para baixo para poder entrar em pós-estol. É bem rápido pra fazer isso.
Caso ainda esteja fazendo correto mas a manobra não entra, pode acontecer como eu já expliquei aqui nos comentários a questão de atraso em atualização de quadros do monitor ou TV que está usando. O que é isso...?
Algumas TVs não são aprimoradas para jogos e ela acaba te entregando uma imagem com alguns mile segundos de atraso, ou seja... A imagem que você esta vendo esta um pouco atrasada do que o videogame já processou. Suponhamos que você reduziu a aeronave até 490 km/h em seguida soltou o L2... nos mile segundos antes de apertar o L2+R2 a aeronave recupera um pouco dessa velocidade saltando de volta a uns 498 km/h. Se sua TV tiver esse atraso na atualização por exemplo, ela vai te mostrar 498 km/h mas no sistema o jogo já vai estar adiantado, a uns 502 km/h mais ou menos, então o L2+R2 vão acabar sendo apertados acima dos 500 e a manobra não vai entrar. Como falei, é um pouco raro ser isso, mas provável.
Então tenta reduzir à uma velocidade um pouco mais baixa, tipo uns 420 ou 450 km/h (ou menos ainda) na hora de executar a manobra, ai sim, pressione rapidamente o L2+R2 e Analógico Esquerdo para baixo. Mesmo o monitor tendo atraso, a aeronave não vai ter recuperado tanta velocidade, chegando de volta a 500, por exemplo.

@@KBStation you can also pull off the Kvochur Bell manoeuvre using the Su-57, Su-35S, and the 5th Gen fighter (From Top Gun Maverick DLC).
@@darkstar_sierra1588 Yes, I managed to do that like 2 or 3 times with the Su-57. I updated the yaw stats as much as I could so I could do it. I would definitely do a tutorial on this if it were a little simpler to do.

My goal was to cover the basics of the mechanics behind the post-stall maneuvers so that players could easily understand and create their own maneuvers according to their playstyle, but also, I wanted to create a video that was as enjoyable as possible to watch.
@@KBStation I'd say you succeeded in all aspects. I also very much appreciated the lists of aircraft that can do each maneuver. Again, most people don't go that in-depth.

The more I see people playing later jets, the more I feel like a doofus for playing through the game with and F-15 for the sake of matching my wingmen.
In previous versions of Ace Combat, the wingmen's aircraft matched the one you chose, they weren't standard like the F-15 in Ace Combat 7. Choosing the F-15 to match the wingmen is a pretty cool idea, but I have to confess, it's hard to choose any other jet when you have the F-22 available. I didn't choose the F-22, only when the mission required a specific weapon.
@@KBStation I was orginally going to switch to the YF-23 for the final mission cause I think it looks neat. Ended up sticking with the F-15 because I'd grown quite attached to it and because I knew Count would probably still have an F-15. That decision really bit me on the butt in the tunnel/elevator portion.

You can get the f14 to do post stall maneuvers but it's difficult sometimes
The Top Gun version can do the Cobra consistently, but usually stalls when doing anything else.

Using the Kulbit to enter a subterranean tunnel is a work of art.
Impressive assessment of your altitude relative to that specific urban terrain!
it's pure style but seeing you use it in actual combat makes it really relevant. However I don't think you'd risk it in multiplayer mode (which is trash, looping takes no skill and you can't risk being slow. The gameplay is better in PVE).

@@KBStation it's different, but i imagine you wouldn't have trouble getting the hang of it. one non-flight question i have is how you got your footage to look so good and how you got such good camera angles, especially in shots like the one at the end. the in-game replay feature is so brittle, i have no idea how i'd move the camera where i wanted it like that (e.g., on the other side of arsenal bird).

In the deepest of my heart, i always knew that the F-22A is the best aircraft.
The F-22A has been my favorite aircraft ever since I saw it in Ace Combat 2. It's the best looking aircraft design ever, imo.

My apologies for the slow reply.
Firstly, using PSM in multiplayer in an arcade game like Ace Combat 7 can make you a very easy target. Because they are very low speed maneuvers, they will leave you totally vulnerable. So use them wisely.
To improve your aircraft for PSM you must improve roll, pitch and yaw maneuverability/stability as well as aircraft acceleration and deceleration. It will all depend on your own playstyle. You probably know that you can't install all the best parts for every attribute, so you have to select them wisely according to your playstyle.
Basically for PSM you should improve acceleration/deceleration, pitch and roll(maneuverability/stability), considering that you don't use to much yaw controls(like in the Pedal Turn).
So here's what you need to consider:
Maneuverability:
Pitch - New Flap Actuators LV. 1,2 or 3
Roll - New Airelon Actuators LV. 1,2 or 3
Yaw - New Rudder Actuators LV. 1,2 or 3
Stability:
Pitch - Cutting-Edge Large Flap Lv. 1 or 2
Roll - Cutting-Edge Airelons Flap Lv. 1 or 2
Yaw - Cutting-Edge Rudder Flap Lv. 1 or 2
Overall:
Superior Maneuverability Lv. 1 or 2
This one I recomend(Lv. 1 at least) since it will enhance both pitch, roll and yall.
So, since you cannot equip all parts, then it's all up to you to select those that fits your needs according to your playstyle.

I think they updated the kulbit list since the 2 years that this video has been out because I’ve managed to perform it with the normal f18 but also with every tgm plane except dark star

Mano, seu vídeo tá muito top e mt bem explicado, eu já consegui fazer algumas manobras algumas vezes, mas parece q é meio aleatório se vai funcionar ou não, eu faço tudo certo (deixo o avião em 450 ou menos de velocidade pois eu jogo na tv e n sei se a taxa de atualização é rápida) e mesmo assim não dá certo as vezes, isso é normal ou eu tô fazendo errado?
Eu não sei se precisa soltar o L2 pra parar de desacelerar antes de apertar o R2, mas eu já fiz dos dois jeitos e deu certo algumas vezes
@KBstation top de mais, aprendi as manobras pós-estol porém eu queria uma dica principalmente quando estou jogando no multiplayer fico em desvantagem por não conseguir fazer as guinada e ter a visão dos adversários, tem alguma manhã da câmera de visão ou é a habilidade mesmo de controlar o movimento e as câmera de vol?

Pois é, controlar as manobras e a câmera ao mesmo tempo é bem difícil mesmo. O que você pode fazer é segurar o botão que troca de alvo... no PS4 é o Triângulo. Não sei se você sabe mas quando você segura o triângulo, a câmera fixa no alvo selecionado, mostrando a posição dele o tempo todo (com excessão a visão do cockpit). Leva um tempo.pra se acostumar, pois dependendo da manobra, da uma "bugada" no cérebro 😂, além do "malabarismo" que você tem que fazer com os dedos pra conseguir fazer a manobra e ainda segurar o triângulo.
Mas atenção... Usar as manobras pós-estol no multiplayer é muito arriscado, uma vez que você precisa reduzir muito a velocidade do seu caça, você se torna um alvo fácil para os oponentes.
Fique sempre de olho no radar, avalie os caças inimigos ao redor, pra saber se você não está sendo caçado por vários inimigos ao mesmo tempo. Utilize as nuvens quando possível, para reduzir as chances do míssil inimigo te acertar.
O melhor momento que você tem para executar as manobras, é logo após você executar curvas de G elevado (aquelas curvas mais fechadas, quando você aperta o freio junto com o acelerador enquanto está virando a aeronave). A sua velocidade cai muito rápido durante as curvas de G elevado, tornando mais fácil aproveitar a situação e combinar com uma manobra pós-estol. Mas seu olho tem que estar constantemente atento a sua velocidade.
É tudo questão de treino. Com o tempo você se acostuma.
Uma dica que dou, é treinar esses truques contra o Mihaly, na missão 7 e dificuldade Ás. Mas lembre-se que no multiplayer, não é apenas um caça contra você, mas sim vários.

No matter how much I practice, I can't consistently enter the post-stall state. I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong; my speed is in the right range, I'm pressing the left stick down and tapping the afterburner and brake at the same time. It only works about 20% of the time.
Because it’s a lame dumb gimmick mechanic that needs Precision combos, in Hawx2 all you needed to do was Slow to a stall and Boom you’d be able to still move while stalling,

Is your speed displaying km/h or knots? If it's displaying the latter, you should instead try these when the counter says less than 270 knots, which is equivalent to 500km/h.
@@mrandrossguy9871 Here is the order to do. Step 1: decelerate below 500km/h. Step 2: release all controls. Step 3 depress the high g turn buttons Step 4: wait a split second, then pull back on left stick. You cannot press it all simultaneously.
I have done these in a F-14 tomcat tgm, it sometimes does the trick other times don't and I thought maybe cause of the plane so I chose one of the SU planes and it worked more often I definitely need more practice but I was wondering; does each plane has its own speed or button timing or trick to pull those maneuvers correctly? because maybe I accidentally discovered that the F-14 can do it by tapping into that correct timing or something because I can do it like 2/15 times in the F-14 so thought maybe the plane has its own way of doing it and I haven't found a youtube video featuring the F-14 tomcat tgm being able to do any of those maneuvers.
The timing/speed to perform the maneuver is the same for all planes, the only difference, is that some planes can't do some maneuvers due to their own limitations.
Originally the F-14 can't perform post-stall maneuvers, but the F-14 Tomcat TGM is a special version of the F-14 created for the game based on the Top Gun Maverick. Maybe they have added some special capability to this special version. As I didn't buy the Top Gun Maverick DLC, I won't be able to confirm if the TGM version can do those maneuvers. Since you're saying you can do, and you didn't find any video on youtube, you should consider creating a video to show it.

Honestly, I don't know if it's possible in AC7, at least not exactly like in the TGM. Basically, you do a cobra combined with yaw to the direction you want, but then you have to precisely control the aircraft speed and the stick to complete the rotation. In AC7 your aircraft will probably stop rotating around 180 degrees . Maybe the new 5th Gen Fighter that was added with the TGM DLC, which is an improved version of the standard Su-57, can do it, but I didn't buy the DLC so I can't confirm that for you.
