@@LegoPefectCellCliffjumper is not going to die, he's just only going to get tortured/experimented on by shockwave. Besides they already killed off Bumblebee anyway. We're not going to lose Cliffjumper, and I hope not Jazz as well.
SwissPrime my good man, I gotta be honest with you. This issue gave me vibes to Transformers Dark Of The Moon and Final Fantasy VII with how Shockwave was taking the energy from the Earth to replenish Cybertron and especially how said planet was transported near Earth’s atmosphere. Also, in this series, who do you think is a better villain? Starscream or Shockwave?
Jesus, Ravage really can't win, innit? First kicked by Starscream, then throwed aside by Shockwave. Being a minicon must be a nightmare. And found it suspicious that Onslaught is spying on them.
Really loved this issue. The dilemma that Beachcomber faces is so impactful. Also love how we are seeing more of Deception Culture. There is honor in their history, and yet, war has taken it's toll on it.
Exactly. I think Beachcomber will rejoin the Autobots, but ONLY to protect Earth and everything in it, AND Thundercracker may be in for a redemption arc. He doesn't know about Soundwave and Starscream tearing apart Skywarp to fix Teletraan-1... The Decepticons gangsta until he finds out the truth.
I just hope they don't kill of my dude Shock Man too soon. I'm sure there are other means to fix Megatron but to me, Shockwave repairing him would make the most sense unless they make them enemies like in the old Marvel comics series.
Beachcomber is actually very capable. First he intercepted Astrotrain to save spike and then also captured him. Very impressive achievement from a peace loving minibot able to capture a full size gigantic brute decepticon like Astrotrain.
I mean they're machines at the end of the day my headcanon has always been that as long as the brain and/or the spark are intact the transformer is alive and can be repaired
Shockwave's so crazy. He saw a whale and was like "he'll be some good fuel" I'm genuinely scared for Jazz and Cliffjumper's safety. As much as I hate Shockwave in this series I freaking love Shockwave in this series. He's the deranged mad scientist that will do anything for both Cybertron and knowledge that i love so much. They've done Transformers so right in this series and it's only 10 issues in.
This actually makes his personality to be more like Pyscho from the Gobots (who was renamed Dr Go for the cartoon) You know he's a mad scientist as he even has the German accent!
@@braydenpage1808 But I have always been mad at the anti-Gobot people. There are some rich characters from that franchise-I think what killed it for me is that they didn't have a comic book. I read the comics long after I stopped playing with the toys
@@SJHFoto at least now that Transformers has absorbed Go-bots into itself there's more opportunities for that. Like there's that new 3 pack of action figures that are Go-bot characters. It would definitely be cool to see more of them in media though.
Shockwave better watch it 'cuz Soundwave is the leader now and nobody messes with him. I don't like Ratchet dying either, and for what reason? There are SO many deaths, especially with well-known characters! I hope DWJ knows what he is doing. I hope Cliff and Jazz survived. 😭😰 Glad to see Thundercracker trying to reason. I wonder what we'll get to see with Onslaught and Brawl.
If I'm not mistaken, the other Autobots don't know about Beachcomber's survival, meaning that there MIGHT be a chance that he's gonna be their ace in the card, their LAST hope.
The reason Ratchet is dead is because him & Wheeljack have similar roles within the Autobots ranks. Ratchet is a medic & Wheeljack is more of an engineer/scientist. But both of them can repair & fix bots. Guess DWJ does not want two bots that can perform repairs.
Likely Soundwave will betray Shockwave to save Ravage as he knows that even if he repairs Ravage by himself, it will piss off Shockwave and just shoot Ravage for wasting energon&Soundwave's time. So best solution is to loosen CliffJumper's restraints on the condition of saving Ravage and Ratchet will get repaired enough for them to steal Ravage and escape while everyone's too busy with Cybertron's arrival. Then again it might be too late. As for Cybertron, there's the plasma energy chamber from the HeadMasters G1 cartoon. If we go by Shockwave's brutal solution, Cybertron is probably rigged to harvest solar energy just that the surface might not survive. So since a lot of Decepticons are on the surface while the Autobots had hidden underground, the Autobots are more likely to survive when a Coronal Mass Ejection slams to Cybertron's surface. After consulting with AlphaTrion&the Matrix, this is probably Optimus Prime's plan all along. Initially it had been to bring enough energon back to Cybertron so that it's surface can survive harvesting that plasma to repower Cybertron by funnelling that CME's energies into Cybertron's Plasma Energy Chamber. Before Prime left, he'd probably got Ultra Magnus to start the project to prepare Cybertron to be able to survive&harvest that CME plasma. Shockwave probably got Prime's plan after torturing Ultra Magnus and just continued with the project minus the survivability since logically more efficient to get the power first and then rebuild Cybertron later when it's fully powered. Considering that Earth regularly gets the solar wind, it could power Cybertron but it's not fast enough for Shockwave since it's easier to suck a planet's energy that waste time and save the planet's life.
Looks like shockwave’s gonna be the main villain for the rest of the comic series, Either that or he rebuild Megatron into Galvatron. Either way i hope he’s both entertaining and written well.
I have a theory what if jetfire makes a sacrifice and merges he's spark with ratchets thereby creating a sort of mini combiner that ratchet becomes a flying medic because man im tired of seeing ratchet die man its not fair
