I think there are really only two points i can think of where I disagreed with Optimus during skybound (that I remember) 1- What he did to poor jetfire, let the man rest in peace 2- blowing up the energon, Eleta-1 was right because the energon was already harvested, regardless of how it was done destroying the energon wouldnt fix that, but that energon could do so much good for the autobots including saving lives

Death of Optimus is one of the greatest moments in G1. the death of multiple characters + Optimus made the series more serious than any other cartoons and elevated the series to a whole other level. Masterpiece series! The 1986 movie is one of the best movies ever made!
