My wife, when out and bought this piece of equipment out of the blue. with no prior knowledge of DJ'ing.. Googling the model number and looking at your video my mind is blown, at the creative freedom. I had no idea existed
Holy shit did NOT expect that at the end! The way you were able to take those 2 completely different genres and songs and blend them to find common ground was amazing
Awesome set bro, you rocked it for sure, my question is how did you use decks (3 & 4) without another laptop connected, you only had one USB wire running into the controller
Thanks Croossfader for the amazing sunday dj skills videos. I really enjoy watching these videos. I have a question though, when posting any DJ mixes videos on youtube, how not to get a copyright strike?
Some do get flagged but we mostly get around it because of the fast mixing. I try not to let any track just play, either layer with another of use effects over it. The other thing is we try to use tracks that aren't too commercial in hopes they don't get flagged either.
Question: Is a feature like recording (when you tap on the cue points) also available on the ddi 1000? Can't find an answer to that anywhere Thanks for the answer! +Crossfader
Our laptop has 8gb RAM but it struggled to record the screen and the audio at the same time as doing the flips and pitch effects. Just about managed it!
Yeah but since starting Crossfader i'm taking a step back from the gigs. It was my full time thing working 6 nights a week for years. I now just do guest sets here and there and put all my energy into Crossfader.
It's being able to toy around like this that makes me hate on Pioneers CDJs... I don't wanna have to use a laptop with a controller for this. And i don't want to buy the Denon players eithe, they're too expencive. Great mashups tho!

Fee Lix. is called flip. Is a feature that Serato has. The ddj 1000 i believe is a rekordbox controller and i don't see that is flip ready.

How much ram do i need to have to make this happened in the best quality without master tempo issues?
Our laptop has 8gb RAM but it struggled to record the screen and the audio at the same time as doing the flips and pitch effects. Just about managed it!
