Léo LECÉE no DJ makes these steps in a row... normally you download and edit your songs in a way that you can do every transition seemlessly... than you just go for the songs the crowd like

At 6:20 how did you get the pitch change to start at the blue cue point? When I use the pitch change it always brings it back to my first cue point in the song (the red one)
I am a begginer so here is a begginer question : I see he never turn down the basses on any channels when he has 2 musics playing at the same time. Doesn't it makes the mix sound bad because the 2 bass sounds are at the same moment or it is not important ?
Because all you are hearing is the channel on the right. He was still cueing the channel on the left. That acapella break had a couple scratches in it. Listen again and look at the waveform then you will understand.
Heres a good setup thats under $1000 USD Dj controller - DDJ400 Speakers - Pioneer DM40 Laptop- lenovo sells good laptops For the laptop just look up the specs for Rekordbox (its the software that comes with the ddj400...the entire program for free is included) and look up computers that can run those specs...usually its an i5 with 2.7ghz and get 1TB of space. Im working on getting my setup as well so this is a great start. The speakers bump and its for your bedroom. That way you can practice and when you feel ready, upgrade to a full sized speaker like the mackie thump 12 and thats about $350 USD
The ddj400 is $250 USD. The DM40 speakers are about $150. The laptop should run you anywhere between 400 and 600 if you wanted a decent one. Best of luck bro. Look up CaliforniaDJ on youtube he goes into detail about all of those products.
Poon Pounder at 7:40 he is turning the filter dial on the right hand deck however the blue lights in the middle of the decl to the left of his hand 1 of them should be flashing to show tge 1 that is in use but they are all steady which means him turning that dial is doing litterally nothing to the music or set. Hope this helps
@I’m starting in mixing Meh. It's shit because it went on for 10 minutes, but the mix is called "Party Starters" so it fits the theme. A lot of these tracks would probably pick up the energy at a college party/ college bar... you just can't keep dropping them one after the other.
Huge fan of this channel however... Mixing track edit loops repeatedly with no other skills being used is not impressive and u could just do something simple like this on your laptop. No need to waste a nice controller on something so basic like this🤦

look up a channel called No Copyright sounds, and you can download music from there and use it, and it won't get taken down

It doesnt matter that is a perfect level he has it like that for the sounding of the video yes! Hope that helps
As a beginner kudos to u for knowing this. You would never be able to mix like this in a club. You would get horrible clipping from too much bass.
Just curious where Crossfader gets their tracks. I use DMS but a lot of these versions aren't available.
DJ City offers lot of these edits.
