I gotta say once this chair breaks in it is unbeatable! Rock solid build, lots of versatility, and you just sort of forget about it... which is how it should be.
@@splixcy1049 its great! I have had softer chairs in the past, and after a year the seat cushion started to sink, but after a year this chair is perfect.
Thanks for putting so much effort into making these videos.... I was looking for something to replace my old 2017 Pro X series AK Racing gaming chair... This just may be my next chair.... Super cool that you can get a leather chair then throw a cover on... I wanted to do that back in the day when I originally bought my chair but couldnt find any decent cloth car seat covers to put on it... back then they didnt have any custom options like that...
No prob! I've had nothing but positive experiences with Secretlab and even when I did have issues they took care of me so I'm confident recommending them. Should you buy I'd appreciate you supporting the channel by using my links!
I’ve been on the fence about getting the inarius addition, however your reviews sold me on getting on. Secret labs needs to hit you with a sponsorship 😊
One question i never found an answer to: does the chair also recline freely? Like tilting forward or backwards just by changing your position, or do you have to pull that lever to recline it and it stays like that regardless of your actual sitting position?
I have always wanted a secret labs chair. But as of recent I have been using full mesh chairs and once you get comfortable with how air flows sound you, especially when you live in a hot area, it’s hard to go back to a solid cushion chair. Secret labs I hope you see this message.
Quick question do you notice a temperature difference with the Leatheratte and the skin? Since I live in a warmer climate I automatically dismissed the Leatheratte and was going to go with the soft weave. The Diablo Lilith was what brought me down the Secretlab rabbit hole 😁 But when I really thought about it I figured the Soft weave was best for me. I hadn't even noticed the skins till your video.
I keep it cool so not really but find the best of both worlds is to get a leatherette with a skin. I’d super appreciate you using my link should you decide to buy!
I see a common thread with Titan Evo 2022 that it requires the lumbar pillow and possibly the footrest. It's hard to build a chair that fits all shapes and sizes, so you see a vast array of critiques from injuries to complete satisfaction. If you want to make a chair that alleviates these problems, then you're looking at an office chair that contains all of the features and components. If you consider more ergonomic support for a Titan Evo 2022, then the bundles approaches nearly $1,000 USD. It can actually exceed this price-point with special editions and accessories. It doesn't matter if you're thin, fat, or taller, you might not sit right with enough lower back support, feet touching the ground, back of knees not touching the edge of the seat, etc. I understand that this product is for people with a smaller budget, but they might not even realize that they're looking for something that is priced as much as an actual bed. You're sitting in one for hours, so blood circulation and full ergonomic support actually matters. It might not matter right away for a light or younger person without any creeping or existing medical conditions, but eventually, it's going to cause issues. We spend time working or gaming as much or more than we sleep, so there is a real parallel to a bed purchase. In reality, we should be getting up and standing. However, we definitely sit for too long. It's a genuine problem. I'm more interested in an office chair for this reason. I work as an accountant, so I've had my fair share sitting in office chairs and working long hours. Generally, I can sit in an office chair for 8-12 hours without any sort of issues for years. Employers are genuinely concerned with productivity. They will pay to avoid any injuries caused by prolonged sitting. They skip over all of the gimmicks and purchase good chairs backed by medical experts.
All good points. I doubt you'd ever find a call center or office with gaming chairs lol. The most comfortable office chair I ever sat in with an employer was the Herman Miller Sayl chair, almost bought one last year but ended up sticking with my Titan Evo since I ended up preferring it over the Logitech Embody I tried. In the end it's all personal preference since we're all different, hope you find what works for you!
@@JacobDarkOfficial Luckily, those gaming variants from Herman Miller and other similar brands don't really pass them off as true gaming chairs. It's just an office chair with full ergonomic support and better support for prolonged sitting than their standard office chair variants. Another huge difference is that they are not simply just forward sitting office chairs for work. You can recline or sit in different ways apart from their standard office chair variants. Employers pay big bucks to ensure productivity for more $$$ or less medical-related disruptions as a tradeoff. You might not find the gaming variant if prices are very different, but if it's the same price as the office chair counterpart, it doesn't matter because it serves the same purpose and more.
I'm currently rocking the older Titan model and have been toying around with the idea of upgrading to the 2022 version. I'm also looking to purchase that Naruto skin! However, I was curious on your take on breathability/comfort with and without the skin. While the skin offers you the option of having both worlds, have you found the skin to be hotter over time vs just the leatherette? I'm just torn! I hate to spend the money on the leatherette, only to cover it up :D But that skin looks dope AF!
I`ve bought a few years ago a second hand Omega chair for about 150$ and fell in love with it, now, after about 3 years I have a brand new Titan EVO chair and loving it. It has the Fortnite theme and if they ever make a cover with the Call of Duty theme, then I am going to buy one :) What I do not know how to set is the lombar support which is a little bit odd for me but I have the lombar pillow from the Omega chair which I can use if I do not figure out which is the best setting for the lombar support on the Evo chair. Maybe you can make a detailed video on how to figure out which is the best setting for the lombar support :)
@@JacobDarkOfficial I’ve seen some reviews with being around 5’7 or slightly over with the seat having a large depth that there feet cannot firmly touch the ground I’m worried if I order a regular which is aimed at my size that I’ll have this issue… do you have any info on this
Hey Jacob, there's one thing stopping me from seriously considering the Titan Evo and that's the firmness of the seat. In your Evo Lite review the seat is actually soft and you can depress it with your fingers. The website and marketing says that the seats are the same but others need a whole hand to make a dent in the seat when the chair is new. Having experienced both, is your recent replacement of the Titan Evo and Evo Lite similar or different in firmness? Much appreciated!! - David
I think the Evo Lite is softer especially when comparing the Lite softweave vs regular Evo softweave. If you're set on the regular Evo I recommend getting a PU leatherette and then putting a skin over for the most softness. That's been my experience. Whenever you buy I'd appreciate you using my link, have a good one!
Thanks for the quick reply. It also adds another layer of protection rather then any spills making its way through two layers of softweave. That said though, does having a skin over the leather cause repeated noise from the two fabrics rubbing as you shift about? That's the only downside I could think that would stop going leather first. If I take the plunge, I'll make sure to keep your affilitate link in mind :)@@JacobDarkOfficial
I'd go regular based on your height but more on your weight. At 135 you won't need the extra width of the XL. Should you decide to buy I'd super appreciate you using my link.
Been looking at a secretlab chair and Herman miller embody logitech version, The naruto version just looks so good. but since you tried both i assume which do you like the most, I am 5'7 150lbs i sit about 18hrs a day for work and gaming ? obviously it's personal preference but wanna hear you're input
Yea personal preference for sure. There were times I thought Secretlab was too firm but after trying the Embody I sent it back and ended up sticking with my Titan Evo. If you're 5'7 you'd probably prefer the Regular.
The Kaiser 3 is a good chair but with all the customization options Secretlab wins. I have a leatherette with 2 skins and plushcell armrests for example and can continue to customize as much as I want.
@@JacobDarkOfficial I don't care much for customization, just comfortability- which one would you say is better in that aspect since I've been stuck between the two for a few hours now

I'm sorry but I'm going to have to beg to differ with you on this. I just received my Titan EVO and am less than pleased. The foam used in the seat and back feels like I'm sitting on and leaning against pine boards. I'd be worried about bed sores if this thing was used long term. IE many hours over many many days. The lumbar height adjustment does not go low enough to feel comfortable to me. The recline mechanism's position gears stripped within 20 minutes of owning the chair right in the prime seating positions too I might add. The height is a misnomer as the 5'9" model is too high even at the lowest setting to properly accommodate a person who is 5'11'. The only saving graces are that I like the farthest back recline position. There is a free pillow. The build quality IE the hardware is robust (except the recline mechanism). I like the adjustability and comfort of the arms. For $612 this thing is almost a wash for me and am considering sending the whole thing back for refund (If I can even get one).
