That’s a pretty awesome build I ride cr250s and as much as I want to turn one of mine into a dual sport I just can’t bring myself to commute on such an awesome two stroke made for the dirt so I’ve been thinking about building up a 600 and slapping it in a spare frame I see you’ve kept most of the cbr for the frame if you could do a little walkthrough of the bike that would be awesome! And amazing job
Joel Raheem there’s a long process of heat treating involved when building motocross bike frames out of aluminum. You can’t just weld aluminum and expect it to stay strong especially with how rough motocross is and how straining it is on frames.

I want to build one man I see the original frame and the front forks are from a what it looks like a motocross bike Honda. How did you fit a swing arm with taller suspension? And mock up the chain to the rear wheel using the larger chain from the cbr?
Looks like he's using the street bike frame which factory cradels the motor with dirt bike forks swing arm and tail section. Just recently sold a 02 R6 because if loss of interest and no where to store it. Wish I'd of come across this video earlier. Would love to build a bike like that. The best of both worlds

@@dustinmoto425 In enduro, there at least used to be a class for big engines(ive not followed it in a while). 525cc bikes were used possibly higher

ch q rear wheel was from rm250 plus offset shim for chain suspension was made similar like ktm does, with no linkage
