It's very telling that Kody listened to the hard truth of the damage he inflicted upon Christine, how her very sense of self worth was injured by his callous treatment of her over the course of twenty-five years. Thank goodness he was horrified in the face of his own cruelty; it's fitting how he choked up as he apologized and humbly asked her forgiveness for having been such a beast. What I’d love to see happen: They’re all at a family reunion together in the future. Christine is her usual bubbly self, center of the party, then Kody sees that the one he’s left with is a sulky, depressed, anxious, bitter Robyn and have the realization come that he fell in love with the wrong wife. 😆 The more he stays in Robyn’s orbit, the more her unpleasant demeanor rubs off on him. Remember how he said he envied those who didn’t have strict Covid rules? He didn’t really want those rules, he wanted to please Robyn and have excuses to stay with only her. Seems they’re both pretty toxic for each other but they claim to love it! 😝

Interestingly, the majority of Christine’s children still have a relationship (yes, the relationships are strained but still there) with him. It’s Janelle’s children (mainly the boys) that have no relationship with him. Christine didn’t have to say anything against Kody. They just saw how he treated both their mom and Christine.

I took it as Christine was telling the kids he wasn't around for them. The kids were there. They know whether Kody was around or not. I have heard Payton, Gwen, Isabel, and even Mykelti say he wasn't around much. He would be there a couple of hours every 3 -4 days, then go back to Robyn's.

And I wasn't sure what the channel would become. I started it because I was so angry at the TV watching this series. That's why my first video isn't until episode 10! So, I didn't want it to be "Sister Wives" related because I thought maybe I'd do other TV shows? Maybe eventually other things like products etc? Not sure. But with how much time Sister Wives is taking....I think it may be just that. And other reality TV when it's off-season. I'm not sure if I can change it at this point and keep my subscribers etc. I'd have ot look into that. Your perspective of me made my day, though. I’m sure I’m overstepping, but I say this with only the best of intentions. :) I absolutely love your channel. However, I didn’t click on any of your videos (when they were suggested to me) for a couple of months, because of the name “Senior Perspective”. Because of the name, I imagined something very different than what I got. You are an incredibly YOUNG-looking, lively, vibrant content creator. The name just isn’t “selling” you. You are so much more. Anyway, just thought I’d throw that out there, in case that could be happening with other people. I’m cheering for your success!! You deserve it!!!
You're so kind, Christi. You could be right. I'll think about it. I just thought.....I'm not competing with these 20-year-old TH-camrs. It's not me. So, I thought I'd embrace who I am. And I wasn't sure what the channel would become. I started it because I was so angry at the TV watching this series. That's why my first video isn't until episode 10! So, I didn't want it to be "Sister Wives" related because I thought maybe I'd do other TV shows? Maybe eventually other things like products etc? Not sure. But with how much time Sister Wives is taking....I think it may be just that. And other reality TV when it's off-season. I'm not sure if I can change it at this point and keep my subscribers etc. I'd have ot look into that. Your perspective of me made my day, though. I think it has to with him spending time with her and the kids.. 🤔 The kids knowing he was there at their house and Christine according to him saying he was never there.. Something like that..🤔 He was with Robyn most of the time and his kids knew, they didn't need Christine telling them.. They figured it out already 🧐

In addition to all the ways that was disgusting, he's saying no one could ever say Christine is attractive and that Mykelti is only pressured to say those things to be on her mother's side. It seems that Kody is having a hard time letting go of the power he had over Christine. I think, and because they've talked about it before, in their community, Christine was out of Kody's league as she was Polygamy Royalty, not to mention extremely popular and outgoing. And, I believe he enjoyed those years of making her feel less than he was punishing her for being naturally everything he wasn't but so desperately wanted to be. His statements about not forgiving or how he'll know she's moved on ... Are his last attempts ( futile because she doesn't care) at having power. I feel sad for his children as he will never see them again without an agenda to get back at Christine.

I still remember that lascivious chuckle when Kody imagines in the future, a repentant David coming to him and complaining about Christine, "Duuuuuude..." and Kody imagines himself lecturing David about not saying bad things about his wife. SOOOO weird. He has this weird fascination with other men-- like the "bad man" Robyn's first husband, and the "good man who could be a friend" David (I don't think David wants to be his friend).
It's kind of creepy. It's like he is really more into the idea of his wife with another man, and being part of that, how Christine can't really love David because she's "trashtalking Kody". Like, you know, KODY is in the middle there. They have to hug on him when they hug on each other?
And David is just so... normal. For him, Kody is irrelevant, not central.
But here Kody is, absolutely obsessed with the woman he doesn't love, doesn't want, and pushed away... because she's got someone else.

It's ridiculous Kody sees no fault in anything he's done. When truly was a baby she almost died on his watch. He only asked Gabe about COVID when Kody had it and didn't care to know how Gabe or their household was when they had it. He flat out refused to go to the Dr when his daughter was getting surgery. He's pushed all these kids away. Even threatening to punch the ex wives or kids in the mouth if they speak negatively about Robyn. He's never reached out to his kids he seems aggravated mykelti said Christine was beautiful. Kody has said he didn't love their mothers. Fine don't love em but think how your kids feel when they hear that. Plus Kody knows his kids watch the show he's told Gwen not to say this or that. They watching him do and say all these disgusting things and takes no accountability. Either he's a complete narcissist or brain dead. He can't be that oblivious. He's done it to himself. Kody picks up buzz words and phrases that he thinks he can use to his advantage, without having the intelligence and depth to understand what he’s saying. And I agree he comes up with phrases/answers that contain the narrative he wants to push. To coin a phrase we use in TX: All hat, no ranch. (nothing there)
