- U.S. Olympic Team Trials champion Spencer Lee (Iowa City, Iowa/Hawkeye WC/Titan Mercury WC) after going undefeated at the World Olympic Games Qualifier in Istanbul, Turkey, to earn an Olympic quota to compete at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, France.

Spencer Lee might possibly be the 1st Olympic Gold Medalist from PENNSYLVANIA since 1996. PA does awesome in college wrestling but at the highest levels they haven't shown up for many years. Maryland has more gold medals than PA.
