I just finished this pattern! Beautiful! But it hangs like cardboard 😕 do have any tips for softening a project made with sugar 'n cream yarn? Won't it shrink to doll size of I wash it?
Hand wash in woolite and dry flat. Do not dry in a dryer. This top is the perfect size for that.
I find only mercerized cotton is safe to machine wash and dry.

SuperDivatude It was big on me and I’m probably a size 2 (when you average our all the variety when shopping at stores!).
SuperDivatude I would say it would fit a size 6/8 well as I have it made here.
@@AlloPlum is there any way you could do this same top for a fuller size body? A 6/8 would be like a small or medium, maybe. How much would it change the pattern for a large?
SuperDivatude I think that you could add one round to each of the squares and it would add about 2 sizes to the overall top. Also, going up a hook size would help. I have a couple finished squares in this same pattern already done so I’ll try adding to it tomorrow and see how it works. I will come back and post! Thanks for the question!
