I remember being in first grade; drawing and cutting out a construction paper / posterboard Buck Owens guitar. Was the first guitar I remember desiring.
I missed out on one of these from the original run. Kept seeing it at a guitar show...when i went to finally grab it, it was gone. Then they went up tremendously in price...like the rest of the world realized how cool they are. I LOVE the flake paint....bring it on!!!
What's more patriotic than a guitar that looks like the American flag made in China (acoustic) or Ensenada Mexico (Telecaster)??? Then again, the original 1998 model was not made in the USA either, it was crafted in Japan. Honestly I've been waiting 26 years for the model to be re-released ;)
@@JustMe-mn5hk and I was really excited when I found that these were getting ready to be released (not that I can shell out two grand for a git-fiddle) but all things considered, this is a real drag. Great idea, disappointing execution.
I got a kingman coming to gig whete i dont wanna take a martin. But the day i pay $2k for a mexican tele will be the day ya throw me in the nut house. Ill stick with a pacific body and a custom shop neck for $1200.00
Whatever you do ,do not order on of these directly from Fender, I just got one from them. There was no padding in the box, just threw it in a box, battery was loose and rattling on the inside of the guitar, came with no warranty card or any case candy at all. Set up horrible, had to file the nut slots ,also the neck angle on the treble side is not great, low saddle. adjusted truss rod, strings looked like had several hours play time on them from the dents in them . Worse packing I’ve ever saw on the 200 plus guitars I’ve bought online, Pitiful !!
Let's hope one day we can get Don Rich signature guitars someday!!

A Telecaster with the Dutch flag, cool! 🇳🇱
I think the flag looks similar to France
I’m guessing Buck Owens was Dutch?
Vive La France!
@@InrillianHandriarFitralinoif you hold it upside down, yes 🇫🇷
No John 5 for the demo? I'm surprised, this is right up his alley.
GOD BLESS, BUCK OWEN'S ❤
Don Rich next!
FINALLY us BuckHeads finally get our time in the sun !
Boom!
wow that kingman headstock is pretty
Just ordered the Telecaster. I've been waiting for this day for a long time.
Pick’n and a Grin’n
finally a guitar with the french and dutch flag on it
God bless America
ITS BACK🎉
Streets of Bakersfield here 👍🏾
Surprised John 5 wasn't demoing it haha
Gostei demais ❤
Welcome to France 🇫🇷 fender 😇😉🤫
aww darn, I thought that was Pat Smear guitar
Pat played a Buck Owens acoustic on Unplugged. 🤦🏻
All I know is that I want both.
Hit like if I'm the one letting you know the tele pickguard is a cowboy boot silhouette shape, yee haw!
I never noticed that. Now I can't unsee it! 😂
Country 101. .. KHJ-Los Ángeles
Call Ryan Adams
How many of these will be produced?
As many as they can sell...
The Tele is a standard production model. The acoustic is a “limited edition”, but that probably means they’ll make them for a year.
John 5
When's the rest of the jack white line getting a video?
It ain’t, it was an overpriced flop
@amslu I'm still curious about the two guitar and thier individuals features

The Telecaster and the amp are both selling as fast as Fender can make them. The Acoustasonic hasn’t officially been released yet.

The original being “made in Japan” is actually an incredible nod to the Buckaroos hit song.😉
Is that Telecaster made in Mexico?
Looks like it. $2K for MiM.
@@CrockettsCabin that's what I was looking at, looks a little pricey for a MIM... and I'm not sure Ol Buck would really like that!

@@CrockettsCabin I agree completely! but the Kingsmen has kind of got my GAS kicked up a notch!

$2,000 and it's NOT made in the USA?
Really Fender?
Great instruments!!! Other than as a collectible who the hell would play these in front of people. I dig it, I get it. Just sayin, still love fender..
Notice how he said red, silver and blue and not red, white and blue. Bucks guitars were clearly red, white and blue. Nice move fender....
The electrics were always silver sparkle instead of white. The acoustics were red, white, and blue just like this one.
@@charlesbolton8471 Who electric was always silver sparkle??? I have a photo of Buck playing a red white and blue tele on Hee Haw!
Made in China on the acoustic why not make it in California, that's where Buck lived.
Fender hasn’t made acoustic guitars in the US in ages (except for the Acoustasonic which really isn’t an acoustic).
Rural 'Merica Edition. Looks as bad as country sounds.
Hey Fender, fix your website...it's all fucked up!
