@LucyLeheilleix you really need to visit Chef Warren who owns Park 25 in Grande Baie. Amazing food, sourdough and fare. He deserves so much more attention for what he creates.
Wow……we actually spent an afternoon at La Bagatelle Mall…..we were shocked at the quality and the prices…..we can but dream of such places in Jersey……to think I live only 14 miles from France and yet it feels like we are on Mars…..why oh why we look up to the UK….beyond me…..the food is incredible……love anything French, their bread in Mauritius is second to none..
I miss my morning bread. There is a place just outside trou d'eau douce, on the B26 towards Flacq that was alway busy, every time we past there. Great food all around the island. Lots of hidden gems.
Lucy, my family and I recently visited Mauritius and made a point of driving to this beautiful bakery. It did not disappoint!! We left incredibly full and happy. Thank you!! ❤️
Great! I’m in Mauritius now on vacation from Belgium. Back there I am a sourdough baker and La Kaz a Pain was on my list. It would be an honor to visit them and hopefully be able to help out a few hours to make that beautiful sourdough bread, Mauritian style.
Thx Lucy! I have worked as a chef in Italy in France in London but in my opinion the French influence on pastry and bread is the Best. I love the place shown on the video and I most definitely pay them a visit next time.
What an amazing place, fab concept, a place full of passionate people ❤️ Thank you for sharing Lucy, just added to my itinerary for my next visit to Mauritius 😍
Great contents from mauritius. Appreciate the info you share on your channel about the island. Could you do a video on banking and financial systems of the island? For example; opening account, how convenient is it to transfer funds in and out, charges for international remittance etc. looking forward to the next video
Hey what's up Lucy , I was one of the best commentators of your channel and one of the top 200 subscribers of your channel, but unfortunately my previous account was lost but still I will try my best to keep up.😢❤
Hello Lucy, we are a bulgarian couple currently living in the UK for the past 7 years, and are seriously considering moving to Mauritius, but with a couple of dificulties... I am very fluent in english even in it's most formal forms, speaking, reading and writing, my girlfriend can get by, maybe a level above shopping english i would say :D My question is .. i work in hospitality, as an assistant bar manager in a cocktail bar/restaurant currently, and i am wondering will i be able to cover the costs for both of us with such a job in Mauritius for the first few months, and also will it be fairly easy for me to find such a job... I understand if u can't really help with that, but i had to ask.. All your videos are extremely helpful and it was exactly what i was looking for when i started browsing the net for info in regards to Mauritius.. So for that, thank you! Your effort is greatly appreciated!
Let me know if you've been here or if you know of any other great places like this in Mauritius :)
Have you been to the Italian delicatessen shop next to S’arrastu Ristorante (same owner), I have bought some amazing Italian cheeses there last week.
@@jerrysketokitchen I have! A brilliant place. Love the restaurant too.

What a magical bakery. Just makes you want to visit. Thanks for sharing.
Big fan of bread but I like mine nice and simple. It was great to see the care, attention to detail and above all love that was going into the baking!
Glad you enjoyed it! The team there are so friendly and passionate about what they do.
♥️ thank you! Love the editing, visual delight of bread and related bakery!

This is what we had in Cape Town when we arrived 1981

Thanks Drowken for the comment. It is possible to find work here in that field, but beware as it is very expensive here…
Is this better than Pain et Moulins. For me that's the high watermark thus far
Boulangerie pour les riches !
Not at all. The bread is not expensive.
Save the money somewhere else like on cigarettes or internet
