Loving the Saab content. We have two Saabs in my family. When driving a Saab one must remember, "when trying to find the correct button or switch, look for it where you do not think it would be and you will find it".
not a problem if you grew up with saabs, then got into a civic and didn't know where the key went
What a great video...For once, nobody is shouting at the camera, nobody is trying to look uber-cool, nobody is showing off, just a genuine, honest, fly-on-the-wall view of a day out, with some good car stuff thrown in...I absolutely enjoyed this, thank you !
Why wouldn’t you tune a Saab? Always been cars with great midrange torque, turbos before turbos got popular
Mike is such a cool guy, real easy to talk to, wants to have fun, knowledgeable but not douchey, And drives an awesome car. I hope he makes the trip over to Nurburg someday so we can see this awesome car on the ring! Saab's don't really exist in my country, I think I've seen one in my life, so this is extremely interesting to me personally. I'm just upset that we didn't get such a cool car
Mike seems like one of those rare 100% top blokes.
The only problem i have with him is now i want a Saab.
You can get one for very cheap. They go for like $2000 American
They're really cheap, and hard to get parts for
Getting just the engine is awesome let alone the car
Saabs have a cool mystique about them. I have a 2005 9-3 with bcb stage 3 and full 3in turbo back and the car turns heads everywhere. I specifically chose Saab for their uniqueness, looks, and sleeper style not to mention it feels soo good not being yet another guy with an evo, mustang, honda, or anything else popular. To sum up the feeling of driving my tuned 9-3 is like knowing that people think you're the underdog but you try and hide a sinister smirk of knowing you can blow doors off whenever you need to.
Saab are more than just very tunable, extremely strong engines! I broke the power record for the old Trionic 5 internals(piston, crank and rods) and trionic 7 ECU with 634whp/685wnm. Still staying strong and wont die lol! Got some videos of it on my channel from last autumn.
Mike was a great guy. Local folks like that help make trips to other places much better. It would be nice on days when nothing is going on to put up videos about peoples cars.
Great to see brother Abbott and map tune in 2001 took my sabb 1991 9000 to over 550 hp to the wheel was a fun expensive project over 30,000 grand it was a rare Air flow model beautiful saloon car and a slepper ....... loved that car .....Good to see so many years later people are starting to really get it.....your friend from Washington D.C
Gearbox is the only thing you need to keep a warehouse full of, but damn those B2x4 engines are amazing.
Proper respect for Dyana's space knowledge! A+ would watch again!
Yes mike is an amazing talker. Pleasant voice even.
Hi Misha: Yes! If you find interesting people who have done unique things to their cars, definitely do 'ride-alongs' with them and interview them. It gives a different kind of 'car experience' to the channel's normal flavor!!
I'm addicted to my 9-5. A lot of potential with a dohc 2.3 liter engine and Turbo Boost.
I drove a SAAB 9000 Aero for years, it was tuned, 3" downpipe, injectors, intake, mbc, ran around 20 psi.
That's what I'm doing every day right now
Hahaha.......Great Motto Mike !
Thoughtful host and a super cool car too.
I used to have a Saab 900i and loved the ignition key feature. It had 235,000 miles on it and still ran like new when I sold it!
that gen 9-5 one of my top 3 cars of all time for sure
just so good
Seems like such a genuine and nice lad, awesome and unique car aswell!
Hope you guys enjoyed our fair city. Shame about the weather but it’s usual for this time of year. What a great sleeper Mike has with that Saab.
Why? Because racesaab! At least you're original with a Saab. You can alsways buy a Golf like the whole world does..
2000 viggen here, stage 2 tuned. Not many cars on the road that can beat me from 40-100 mph.
I've always enjoyed the sleeper aspect of Saab. It's definitely an overlooked vehicle by most. Thanks for sharing, excellent episode!
Lots of possibilities with a Saab, have a very wide history when taking the time to look into it. The 99 Turbo started the turbocharger hype pretty much on his own. Own a non-turbo one from 1975 which I am slowly improving. Than the 900 classic came, the one everyone knows with the iconic design. including the H-engines that where used until around 2003 and are very strongly designed. low rpm, much torque and almost always turbocharged.
Here in the Netherlands there is a very lifely Saab Club where old guys with two stroke 1950-models meet young guys with the turbocharged 2000+ models.
The H engine was used in all 9-5 untill the new gen 9-5
The Punisher series is so good, binged the whole thing. Can't wait for season 2
It was pretty good. But tbh I like The Punisher in the Daredevil series better.
2 Videos with SAAB, you are bringing me big hopes for 2018! :D
Im a big fan of your turbo dismount videos
Nice 9-5 there Mike!
Nice Saab guy!
Very fine Saab !
I love the spirit of such unique cars. I think Robert would like the Saab as well. Nice Taxi! :-)
Great vlog, yes I would enjoy hearing other people share their passion with cars, with that and the weekly chats with Robert should make for an interesting mix along with the usual Nuerburg content will be amazing!! Also great story with Dyanna and the dirty underwear!!
What a genuine carmrade. Btw the jokes are going to be the death of me :D hilarious.
When you popped the hood I got jealous 😞
Mike seems a good lad!
Best bang for the buck in Sweden
Dam misha that girl is pretty! Glad to see you both happy and enjoying being a star ! Loving this kinda content too 👌
Hey just found this vlog👍👌...please if possible do more Volvo and Saabs because here in the USA we don't really know much about these cars...
Lovely Phase 1 9-5 very rare nowdays
any chance of a full engine spec please. love that engine bay
Denis
i own my first saab now, a 9000 with the B204, its a blast even only on 8 psi
We need more of these vlogs👍
Damn that iPhone at 8:14, you just made me look for mine to find out who the hell is bothering me again! :-D
Yeh ! Love my 9-5 Aero wagon. Maptun stage 1 only, but it’s still a beast.
So good to see I’m not the only one that loves them. I’m sick of bloody BMW’s 🙄
BTW subscribed !
Saab, built in Sweden by Trolls😂
Nice vlog glad you had a good time in England 🖒
Niet omdat t moet maar omdat het kan haha Keep those differents in the vlogs coming. Love the content and it allways brings a smile on my face👍
but can it go saab7?
Very lovable Saab. Btw at the end of the video it get to me that he is wearing excactly the same hoodie as me while i was watching the video haha
Honda Freaks Hoodie Carmrades!👍👍👍
Digging the Saab content Misha....done the 2.0t, 2.3t and looking for an aero to mess with.
Mike seem so cool! say hi from Sweden :)
Enjoyed the video, and will be a great idea to review people’s cars when they pop by Apex.
Why would you NOT tune a saab? In finland we used to call them 500€ slingshots, because they go like slingshots... for only 500
Saab like the MCM (mightycarmods) wasaabi! Great content Misha!
Nice video Misha. I hope you got to feel some of that boost! :-)
I had a '99 9-3 Convertible, SE version (about 200hp) and it was such a great car, though the steering was a bit heavy . I was so pissed i didn't went for the coupe version when i bought it cause it would have been perfect for tuning
Excellent content
Thx as always🤙✌😁
Nice Vlog as always Misha. So, why would you tune a Saab? I tuned 2 of my 9-5's, the third one was a diesel though, with an ancient Opel engine. But the petrol 9-5's have a turbo, remaps are cheap (Karl @ Noobtune is a hero!), parts are cheap, and once you know about DI cassettes and crank position sensors, they are actually reliable! My last 9-5 Aero had 155,000 miles on it when I sold it (250,000km's) and it's still going strong. Mine had a Noobtune remap, limited slip diff, stainless exhaust, Forge recirc BOV, Jamsaab shift mechanism, polybushed, Hirsch suspension (Eibach & Bilstein in reality), drilled & grooved brakes, stainless brake lines... and a lot more! Very addictive cars, and very very fast (but no drama)!
Nice gent with the Saab, always liked them. Did Dyana like the black pudding, we never got to find out?
tony scott she loves it, but the one at the hotel was meh
that Saab is amazingly civilized, i like that. And yeah, bring on the intresting custom car reviews at Apex, and if you wil not take the car on track, the roads around the Nordschleife are great as well, otherwise, you should let Boosted Boris do the talking.
Dyana and Misha now you have been to Stockport your lives are complete! :)
Where did you get your intake pipe from? Looks lovely
Is Mike open to being contacted to better understand all the modifications he has carried out?
David Mazzotta By all means if you’d like to know anything I’ll try my hardest to answer with pleasure.
My dream comes true I'm in your appartement!P.s : Another joke vlog... A fish and sea... Flight spin.
Frontier is also a very cool series to watch on netflix
Awesome vid :D
Don't tip staff if you're in Japan!!!!!!!!!
Oh, and seeing this vid is very timely for me, as I'm wondering if I should buy a Saab. B¬)
Mum, i've seen a hole today and it spoke to me like a Dyanasaurus!
Especially older Saabs usually have quite big turbos, which is the complete opposite of the VW/Audi 1.8T engine for example.
I would like to know where to get that rear spoiler, I had never seen it.
Eduardo Ruiz Hi Eduardo - the rear spoiler is from Abbott Racing in the UK - sadly they’re no longer manufactured but very occasionally one might appear for sale. The best advice I can give is to look on eBay and on the Saab forums and Saab Facebook pages. Sorry I couldn’t be of more help. If you want to see the story of my car it’s on Instagram under saabmike66
parky2310 that hurts, the truth that I usually look at from time to time on eBay but I never saw one equal to the sale. If for a casual one day you see one for sale do not hesitate to contact me, thanks!
12:23 Did Dyana miss-shift into 2nd gear while Flooring it?
in your area is their smog / tune laws they enforce when you add on, in california we cannot do much to make performance increases
Love your UK ones!
Don't get caught by James May - he'll unpimp it on the spot.
Cool car, would've been Nice to see some more driving action ;) i also plan to upgrade my Volvo 740 and v70R. But first i need to find the time for it :) specially since the 740 still has some Running issues.
The english call everything pudding. 500hp just the perfect amount for this car
I realy like this consept :)
Very nice video like always! Misha, I want to know your opinion about installing an K&N panel air filter on my BMW 125i F21. But after searching on the net, a lot of people say that those filters aren't good for the engine because the filtering is not as well as a OEM filter and those could also 'destroy' MAF sensor. Is it save to change my original filter into a K&N filter? Love u Misha! :)
Great cars!
Why tune a SAAB? Because you can't tuna a fish.
So did 9-5 ever ride on a Green hell?
Probably it would be veeery veery useless there, but still very interesting to watch.
I am saab fan myself.
Drive a focus diesel. Really do miss all 3 of my Saab's
Greetings from Colorado, car kids! I have just one question. Why tune a Saab when you can tune a fish?
Great sleepers.
Similar to my own saab- , must get it over on the Ring.
SOULFIRER
UKSaabs
What spoiler is that on the rear deck?
She's so smart!
Yeaah, Punisher is so cool TV show
9-5
No wheel spin on aircraft because the wheels are not driving the plane forward, the wheels only brake the aircraft so to speak, and only under certain speeds.
we have a SAAB that we stuck a big-ass turbo on so the turbo lag is real.
as soon as you reach 60km/h: woooOOO
I'm happy swedish boy now ❤️
damn misha did some looksmaxing
Limited slip differential s???
Limited Speed Differential?? ;)
Blutwurst in Bayern (Böhmerwald) can taste quite like black pudding. And I've had Sachsenwurst that tasted like Haggis; I guess it depends on the Metzgerei.
good video
he doesn't make bad videos
they sure tuna fast saab
You should start watching Rick and Morty, i think you’ll both like it
I come often to the nurburgring and just finnished my car for this year.
What first was a stock BMW e46 320i is now a swapped to a 330i with a supercharger (318i on the back for the memes). (350hp 400nm) (faster than a e46 m3) Brake upgrades, poly bushings, suspension upgrades everything. semi slick tires. If you are interested in it you can make a revieuw about it. I drive the crap out of it on the ring and different tracks around holland and Belgium.
rob mulders Subframe reinforcements aswell i hope?😁
Boss ofcourse!
В гостях хорошо, дома лучше! Exactly my words ;)
i have the 2 liter turbo with 150bhp. put a chip it and got 180bhp plus much better fuel economy. it kicks like a horse as well
