Hey everyone, Could you tell me what you think of the commentary audio? I've increased the speed and tweaked volume levels in the last two videos released and I'd be interested in how it comes across to you. Appreciate you taking the time to respond!
I think you missed a small part in the Ginger hide and seek part. If you find the two bandits, you can go back to Captain Bernard, and ask for their help, and if you do it, if I remember correctly two guard comes with you, and a tiny battle happens between them.
@@MrBacaras If I remember correctly they were the same as when you first meet the bandits north of the stables but I might take a look when I have time.
@@SequentialGamer_KCD I just got the game not long ago, and I plays as good boy soldier. After I talked to everyone and then found destroyed gate and blood puddle, I immediately go back to check on the captain to report back at him. Captain did say to "Don't go far and come back etc..." with that in mind I thought that I might fail the quest if I go too far - so yes I went back to him. There a small Dialogue from the Captain something something like this~ Henry - Captain, I've found the evidence and kind of understand what going on... Captain - Alright, tell me what you have learn. Henry - (start describe the story of how there 2 gangs join together to raid, 1 want the money and another want blood+death. And how there much blood trails into the wood as they couldn't have gone far) Captain - 'nod' Alright, but there much to be done here, I'll have (~name of a soldier that I can't remember) to go with you checking the wood to the north! Captain - (soldier name), you will go with Henry to see .... (i don't quiet remember this part I could be wrong~) see if the bandits still in the wood. A soldier - 'nod' Yes, sir. *Dialogue Scene End* A soldier start following Henry, as Henry go back to broken gate and off to the north into the wood. As I plays, I didn't have Henry run, just walks and looking down for blood trails. Then, I start hearing some of someone talking then I look up and see npc's chat text above their head. I crouch and get closer and hears the whole conversation. When it end, one of the two bad guy start to walk off leaving the wounded one. I get up and rush on the guy that still healthy, get 2 good hits on him, he targeting me. A fellow soldier that came with me slash the bad guy's back, the bad guy turns to my fellow soldier which big reveal his back, I stab is back and done. Tries to talks with Wounded bad guys, didn't get much from him but he have a hoofpick. I walked back to the captain but the fellow soldier stay with wounded (dead) bad guy. The captain, understand and decided to go look at the dead bad guys himself. Before he go, he tells Henry to speaks with Sir Retsig. At this point you know the rest.
You can also go back to neuhof once you have been told to take care of the bandits by the twins. Captain Barnard will come with you and help you kill the bandits, and will also come straighten out the charcoal burners for you, too.
That's cool, processing audio is one of the things I'm least comfortable with so that's good to hear. Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad you find the videos useful.
@@SequentialGamer_KCD I first found your bow training chump guide through Reddit and was surprised with the quality of your videos for the amount of subscribers. Watched a few other for entertainment sake and they're really good. I'll be following your growth friend!
There is some dialogue if you go to the herbalist near neuhof. She has 3 different lines of dialogue directing you to 'charcoal burners' right next to the inn between neuhof and uhzits. If you follow her directions, you find woodcutters who call you a dumbass for not knowing the difference. You can then ask the owner of the Inn and he will give you directions to the north charcoal burners.
Yes, good call! You can skip the entire drinking and carousing session by passing the first speech check when you talk to him at church. It doesn't show you anything new though so I didn't bother including it.
@@SequentialGamer_KCD Henry has a line about why a crofter needs a weapon and where he get it from, also the bailiff has a new dialogue option about the sword but it is rather short. he confirms that limpy was up to no good. I haven't found any blacksmith with a dialogue option regarding the sword yet so thats the end of that but maybe i overlooked something
@@smurfmcurf951 Cool, cool! That's the same kind of reaction you get to the armour. I checked the video and there doesn't seem to be anything next to Limpy so it might have been added later on. Thanks!
@@SequentialGamer_KCDYea,No it's the same outcome with a different dialogue and the sword has not been added later, you can see part of the handle and pommel @16:46 behind the chopped wood. [left it vague to make you search for it] Keep up the good work, love your content
18:55 I don't think Simon needs to be retrieved from the woods. I did drink with Father Godwin long before i needed Father Simon for the Pestilence quest. edit: also at the end Tonda - Anton are just forms of Antonin, also Tony and such. But i give you that, only a native speaker would know this.
14:28 - what a douche. As if telling him where I'd go saved me in case I stumble upon some bandits who'd try and kill me. I did report to him just for Speech experience (and investigated all the charcoal camps for the same reason before going to the one I need), but man... aaargh. Now I feel perfectly justfied for beating the hell out o him with a mace a lot during the training. Also I gladly "stabbed" Godwin in the back by giving persuasive sermon & blaming him. His self-righteous lazy ass shouldn't have blamed me for (well, any) outcome of the witch quest (which is terribly written, imo). Also the black book option is better in terms of speech experience (more dialogues) and timing (can use the book at any point and start the following timed quest whenever you'r ready) while the immediate start after the church events might rush you a bit.
If you report to him after finding out about the bandits from the villagers he sends backup for you, plus you can ask him for help with the bandits after speaking to the charcoal burners. He's got a point too - Henry at this point has only received basic combat training and really shouldn't be trying to face threats by himself.
@@TheTdw2000 , I cleaned almost the whole map before reporting to Radzig for the first time (after prologue). My Henri "at this point" was clad in full plate armor and armed with the best sword in the game. xD And had a loooooooong line of dead cumans and bandits behind his back.
Sooooo, i think i may have messed up... I was talking to thepriest about lubosh, i failed my speech check, so he made me do the Witches and Satan quest line, i killed the guys attacking the women and it pissed off the father and now all i can talk to him about is asking questions about lubosh. ( Just remembered i miss my evening drinking session with also.. how baddly did i fuck up and is there anything i can do?)
You're fine. I think I covered it in the later part so the video, you can speak to the bailiff and then Sir Hanush then read the black book at the Rattay Rathaus. But if you have a save from near that time then it's a good idea to see the drinking session. It's many player's favourites.
How did you "accidentally" kill a group of people?? Try going to prison for a week. That should cause the game to reset the NPCs, though they might be afraid of you. Otherwise you can just go to Ginger's hiding place directly.
You mean the dog in front of me? That's my dog, but you're right in that my dog doesn't trigger enemies as much as it might. That's a concession to this being a game. It's usually only against enemy camps that dogs are a real issue.
