Exactly! I finished the game 3 times. I have almost every single achievement yet I have never heard nor seen most of these dialogues. He does such a great job with this serie.

If you're at all interested, I'd personally like to follow along and watch a let's play of KCD if you ever decided to do that in the future.

Of course it's a lie that you got the money from Pious, but the crimp can't know that, so he still gives you the special die and the location.
Yeah, bribing works pretty much all the time so I don't bother showing that approach. It's implicit that you can bribe your way through any dialogue check.

I remember how scared I was that guards would catch me and the route took me long time so I'm not suprised that devs cancelled circators patrolling halls of monastery. As you said in comments of your previous video, the game would be really hard that way.
Hey @zesty_lime, you're welcome! There used to be a small window in the early morning when there were no patrols, so unless you already knew what you were doing it was off to jail all the time.
I was having a conversation with someone on twitter about this a while back actually,. Ironically I don't care too much for achievements so you've probably got way more than I'd have if I was playing on steam.

If you don´t have the die on you, you can also hand over a bunch of cash claiming it was the money "Antonius" stole from them. That makes them trust you as well. At least that worked for me
True, bribing is almost always an option. The reason why I don't tend to include it is because usually it bypasses gameplay but cash can usually get you out of a spot.

Lucas does tell you that he doesn't know of anybody like Antonious in Vlashim but it's evidence that Antonious isn't being truthful. Basically it's on the same level as reading the novice's book. Not quite direct evidence that he's Pious, but altogether they do suggest he's the most likely
In my playthrough, the rattay tourney was on during the time when Antonius would put his plan into motion, I didnt want to miss it so i snuck out and did the tourney. When I got back, the circators caught me and kicked me out. So then I reloaded a recent save and tried to avoid them, which i did successfully but not in time to escape with Antonius. It was ok tho he didnt mind waiting to try again the next day
20:56 Not true. If you have the key you can open the cabinet during the day. Nobody will be angry because you don't have to pick the lock. I guess the monks just assume you have permission to open the cabinet because you have the key.

If you go this route, you get to Vranik (without the dice) and they won't let you in. Go back to the swamp, light the fire...kill bandits and take their dice. Return Vranik and you'll get in? Never having to enter the cloister/become a monk? Pious' punishment is to be left in -prison- the cloister? Would that work?
@@sonpacho maybe going to check it out myself in my actual playthrough, but I do recall that I tried that the first time I played the game but you couldnt make a fire at the spot if you didnt enter the cloister at least once before in frame of the quest. I did open the door to the "hidden entrance" where a guard is sitting sometimes, also where the cloister workers are and left through it after the first day and could lit the fire at the spot, but didnt have any prove for pious
Man I just wrapped this quest a few days ago and then by talking to someone - ugh I forgot who, find out Pious organized the whole Neuhof raid - he was the local leader who signed up his men for Runt.. I think it was Reeky who said that… But he’s so convincing that he wants to change his ways…. But he tells us “I’m gonna steal the first horse I see and ride as far away as I can.” So he’s already plotting another crime!! Next time I’m gonna smash him…
Pious didn't actually organize the raid, he subcontracted his group to Runt but they didn't know what it would involve. That's why they fled and why Runt's men hunted them down. He's a thief but they don't seem to be murderers.

@@Flat_Earth_Sophia It makes it much easier to dodge. Not part of the perk but being lighter makes you run faster so if you need to flee it's very useful to be light.

Correct, you *have* to get the die in order to enter Vranik. You can go up to its gate before that but there's no way to enter.
