Definitely a bit faster, sounds better.

What did you change with the exhaust? I'd love to do the same. These are very similar to the 1st gen CTS 3.6

hey i got a question how much it is the degree turn for the muffler delete ? i am planing to do it but i have almost set up
It should be 45 degrees or something close to that. You can Mock it up using the old pipes
@@some_thicc_sedan like 40 degrees pipe and then weld it to the other parts the thing is i have the rest except that angle pipe that it is killing me
@@santiagofernandezmoores4054 exactly . If anything you could go to an exhaust shop and have the pipes bent there

@@santiagofernandezmoores4054 YellowSpeed Racing has coilovers for the STS. The other way is to swap front control arms and knuckles from the 2nd Gen CTS if you want CTS coilovers on the STS.
Only the 1st Gen and 2nd Gen CTS rear shocks (gas) can fit on the STS. I have 1st Gen CTS KYB shocks on my STS with 2nd Gen CTS lowering springs from H&R
I have a 2005 Cadillac STS v8 will this cold air intake fit?
From the looks of both V6 and V8 STS engine bays, the stock intake system seems to be in the same position along with the MAF sensor.
I'd say this should work, it's bringing in more air than the stock intake for either engine
V8 has 1in larger throttle body diameter than the v6
So get a 4 in to 3in boot should work huh?
I have a 2011 cts 3.0 and can only don’t cai for 3.6 would I be able to throw one made for 3.6 in my 3.0?????
You should be able to fit the CTS 3.6 CAI on your 3.0, don't get the SRX one

@@_pacnero2841 well yeah the 03-07 CTS and 05-07 STS use the same V6. Same mass air flow sensor, same throttle body, same layout.
The only CAI's you can put on either car is from Volant or K&N.

FLYGEE did it really increase the performance? & when u Installed it did it fit like a glove? Or did u have to do a slight modification to make it fit?
It did make a difference on power. No lag, it kicks back and made the torque better.
It did fit like a glove for the most part. The bracket that holds the air tube up lays right on top of a hose from the power steering fluid reservoir. I had to push the reservoir and hose down and bring the bracket up so it wouldn't kink it. Doing this made the PCV hose not be straight but it's still connected to the air tube
FLYGEE what about the MAF sensor did it connect it?
The MAF sensor screws into the heat shield perfectly. Didn't need to disconnect it to put it on the heat shield.
No check engine light
