    I Had a 2016 Sport Loaded, at 130km I traded for a 2020 Pacifica Launch Edition AWD. Had that for a few years and recently (March) traded for a 2017 Sport again loaded. I realize every vehicle has its pros and cons but I can’t seem to get away with from this 4th gen Ram. My Ram Sports that I’ve owned both came with Sun Roofs and full leather, heated and ventilated seats. The 2017 has the bumper sensors and auto dimming high beams that the ‘16 didn’t have. This is one awesome truck! I’m retired now and will drive this truck into the crave, so to speak.

    I think that it's the RT model that's gets the 0-60 time. The crew cab is closer to 6.4 secs. At 5.6 seconds that'd make it quicker than the ecoboost f150 and it's not as fast as those in the quad cab

    • @Saldalaperformance
      @Saldalaperformance  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You’re probably right about the RT. But the crew cab without the 3.92 lsd i think is 6.4 sec. With the 3.92 rear ended you’re definetly closer to the 6 second mark.

    Only RAM Worth owning is the 5.7 HEMI 8 speed with 3.92 final drive ratio with LSD (4x4 is a must and much prefer a locker or a torsen work gear diff) dual exhaust, tow package, and the quad cab with 6 foot bed is my favorite of the fourth generation. • @Saldalaperformance
      @Saldalaperformance  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I think that’s a fair price. But beware with the high idle time. In the cluster of the truck, you should be able to cycle through the instrument panel and see the engine hours. Try and buy a truck with lower idle hours as high idle 5.7 hemi engines are known to have failures.

  • @UvidCo

    I just bought a 15 sport with 105,xxx km.

    • @Saldalaperformance
      @Saldalaperformance  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That hemi tick is usually the manifold gaskets. The studs break from the heat cycles and causes the gaskets to not seal 100%. When the truck warms up, the sound will subside as the gasket expands.
      As for the cam and lifter issues, just do frequent oil changes and don’t sit at idle for long periods of time.

    I have a 2017 dodge ram 1500 sport with only 80k miles on it, when bought it was like new. What an overpriced piece of crap, only 80k miles the starter went, a wheel bearing, shocks and spings are junk and it was never even used for heavy loads, the 4×4 clicks like gears grinding and the exhaust fell off. Notsure if all dodge parts are this crappy or if it's just the Canadian sport models but I will never buy a dodge again, it's a 1/2ton yet struggles with a 1/4ton load.
    I miss back in the day when things were made of higher quality. Everything today is made cheap to keep us poor and to make the rich richer. Should be laws against this but we all know the corporations own our politicians.
    Long ago you could get 250k out of a new vehicle before it started needing part today your lucky if you get out of the dealership parking lot before something breaks.
    They may do this to mess up our lives but in the end rest assured these corporations that do this will be judged and pay dearly for their deceptive shady ways.
    I bought it thinking this will be a trustworthy vehicle that will get me to work for a longtime before needing any work done on it, boy was I wrong, now stuck with a high payment for a truck that costs as much as my house with 10acres that already needs thousands of dollars put into it when again it only has 90k miles and was used nicely, can't imagine someone trying to use this garbage for a work truck, it'd be in the scrap heap before the loan was even paid off.
