If anything, our work will most definitely be held at a higher value than before. Besides, if artists quit, than who will ai copy off of? They need us, haha.
This for sure. One thing I don't understand about AI art is what even is its end game? AI seems to boil down art to a means to an end, which seems entirely antithetical for art if you want it to continue to hold any lasting value. The process of making art is just as valuable as the end product, if not more, so taking that part out seems like it could hurt your artistic growth a lot, also, generating pictures just doesn't seem like a very skillful undertaking so it's not going to be very stimulating or meaningful I'd imagine. I honestly don't even know the extends of the effort it takes to generate AI stuff but I don't imagine it's a comparably hard craft to Non-AI media. If I have one fear about AI art, it is that it might make art less accessible, not more, by virtue of art being just distilled into a means to an end, like I said earlier. I wouldn't want to see traditional techniques and methods be forgotten because people don't pay attention to them anymore, but I have hope that that wont be the case.

In my opinion, one way to differentiate human-made 3D animations from AI-made ones is to pay attention to every little detail. Usually, based on AI animations that I usually find on the Internet, AI animations often have shapeshifting (especially to little things like grass, flowers, eyes, nostrils, bird feathers, building windows, object on the distance, etc), the color palette keeps changing, and if there are humans or animals (or anything that highlighted or something idk, my english is bad.. sorry), the facial features change, and are inconsistent. And all the changes and inconsistencies are shifting slowly (well, not very slowly..). Okay, the point is, AI animations are very inconsistent. And human-made animations are great and brilliant. Support all human animators! 🎉 Sorry if this comment is too long :(
there was a secpnd where i thought it was ai because the HEV looked weird but then i realized AI is stupid and cant have a consistent style for 1 second
Here's a hot take. I've used AI in the past to create art for my albums, but that was when it was not really good. I did it specifially for the imperfections of the program. Basically, I knew a real artist could do it better, but it fit well with the aesthetic of the albums, where the songs were made to mimic what would happen if an AI mashed random songs together, while still being created by me. However, since AI art has gotten significantly better to the point where there's barely any mishaps in the creation process, I can't do that anymore. I kinda miss when AI art was shitty. Nowadays, if you are an artist, AI should only be used to IMPROVE or ENHANCE art, like how you master a song to make it sound better.
I think the thing missing with your animation of the walk is that the center of gravity is off, the torso of the character should be leaning towards the leg that's supporting the weight.
I understand that some people can be confused about this, especially if they don't really know anything about choreography or animation in general. At the same time, It's fairly obvious today to tell when something is AI generated. Even if it looks super realistic, AI usually isn't able to create cohesive or complex objects. Background objects like you see in your animation are way too sensical to be AI generated. AI basically just mashes shit together until it looks passable at a glance. You wouldn't be able to tell that those are buildings and debris in the background if it was AI, it would just be unidentifiable conglomerate. Same goes for hands
- that's ai - that's ai said the people that don't know any ai program and nor have they used one. It's still a long time from current technology to make something so coherent as this animation. Lima dream or whatever it is called - good enough, but shapes always changing, something happens and everything goes south. So I believe allegations came from person who just listen to everything some internet-persona said, but never checked or tried to understand
Just seeing the behind the scenes instantly relieves any doubt if you have half a braincell. But, I can't fault people for being cautious. Bots and MLAs make up a VAST majority of online traffic nowadays.
I never thought that it was AI, It was just slightly uncanny, keep up the good work man!

I guess it just felt too good to be true, lol. It's uncanny to see an image you've seen a thousand times move suddenly.
7:46 Gorden when he finds out you're not a bodysnatcher
Sorry if this comment is too long :(
the funny thing is that I've seen you make elaborate SFM than this one XD
I guess it's a compliment because the animation is so unreal that it's inhumane
It's like being so good at playing a game you get accused of hacking
but is the SFM AI too? 🤨🤨
Can you get AI to make a 16:9 version please?
there was a secpnd where i thought it was ai because the HEV looked weird but then i realized AI is stupid and cant have a consistent style for 1 second

Behold. The *FREE - MAN* .
Those comments suspect the AI issue make me question the capability of thinking of those people.
What if you needed to quickly create something and ai was accurate?
@@sgtaveryjohnson3803 It's still better to do the work yourself. Better to be late on a deadline than to rely on AI for everything. Morals matter.
I think the thing missing with your animation of the walk is that the center of gravity is off, the torso of the character should be leaning towards the leg that's supporting the weight.
please animate more promotional art this is amazing
I knew you weren't lying, its to good to be true.
How do I know that this ENTIRE video isn't AI. The voice, the gameplay, the S2FM...
This 3d model od Gordon is the most accurate i could say
I have no idea how anyone could've thought this was AI, when it was too sharp and coherent for what AI can do today.
I knew it wasnt SFM...
Becouse it was S2FM...
Thank you for your confirmation kind sir.
5:24 dang that cake tho
I can't believe Minecraft uses AI to make the villagers act uniquely, I'm legit shaking and crying rn.
u should not have had to make this we are so incredibly cooked
No, I won't call it, sorry about this. I'll delete my comment.
💀
Love this
We've come full circle. Time to assume Team Fabulous 2 was AI generated🤣
GOATED CREATOR AND GOATED ARTIST.
Source 2 truly is way ahead of its time
i have seen enough ai videos to know that yours wasn't it also i love your effort you put into your videos
u should rlly rlly rlly make a gordron freeman mr rager edit no balls i dare u
- that's ai
- that's ai
said the people that don't know any ai program and nor have they used one.
5:50 that how he should have walked and at the end of video he could ascend to heaven
OK he had us at the beginning
