The beauty of TesseracT's writing is how they give every part of the song room to breathe and expand. In this track, every instrument (Dan, the vocalist, included) has its moments to shine all throughout. It represents them as a whole so damn well.
Tesseract has been out for a while. Out of their 2 new videos, I thought this song definitely gives a more complete vision of the band and their range. The other song is a visualizer for a video game the song is featured in. Maybe something I might request for a stream sometime.
Cool to see you reacting to my favourite band! This song is such a banger, possibly the best track they've ever produced. So many details to listen to, the layers and the various vocals styles. The bass and drums are always amazing and very prominent, but the rhythmic guitars are also an important foundation in each of their songs. So tasteful. There are never any filler songs on their albums. Funny reference to the bible, TesseracT is most certainly my "religion" 😄
The war of being, an eternal fight and struggle between all that exist, for life and against death, or vice versa. Countless warriors in an everlasting battlefield with no winners, just a neverending war. That's how I feel about it, at least. Pretty damn excited for that album, release friday next week!
Love TESSERACT! Or as I call them, atmospheric, British Periphery which is the highest compliment. I think this sound is a profound musical achievement. And "Legion" is one of the most complete, raw vocal performances I''ve ever heard. I'm jealous you get to explore them for the first time now.
