    Hi there, thanks for the video.
    Two questions :
    - Can we allow as many conditions as we want to or there is a restriction ?
    - If I want to create a multi-steps form, is it possible to display a specific part and hide others according to the value of a drop-down list ?
    Thank you very much !

      Hey There!
      1) There isn't a limit set in by the form plugin itself, but if you're running a substantial amount of conditional logic fields within one form you may notice some slowdown, but generally there is no specific limit.
      2) Yes, you can definitely hide/short parts (and sections of a multi-part form) using conditional logic.
      Cheers,
      Dan

    Hello,
    I have a few contact forms that I want to merge into one page. So the customer selects the products type and that then shows a complete new form that has been built already in Ninja.
    Is that possible? Maybe like a URL redirect.
    Thanks
    Callum

      Hey Callum - There's a few ways to do this. I think the easiest way, without using embedded shortcodes (which may complicate things later) - the best way is to use conditional logic to show a set of fields. So, if user selects option 1, they see form fields A, B, C & D. If they select option 2, E, F, G and H - then use conditional logic on the e-mail notifications, to only send the relevant form fields as an e-mail (or whatever response you need). If you need really complex forms, and so it's really more about redirecting them to the right form - you can do this as well. You can also setup conditional logic on redirects under e-mails and actions. So you can have a form with just your first fields, then on submit, based on logic, redirect them to the preferred form. Hope that helps!

    Dan, this is a very eye-opening video! I'm impressed! I've got one question though, which I thought I share. What if my condition would be like:
    If A and B and C has been selected then do ABC, else if A and D has been selected then do AD, else...
    Does that make sense? Does Ninja Forms allow me to do the 'else if' thing?

    • @ZenProjects
      @ZenProjects  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Aaron - Absolutely! You can set multiple conditions by hitting the blue plus sign on the conditional logic screen. So, if you need A+B to both be true before C - this is definitely possible. So this would assume an AND preference A AND B must be true. to do Or you would just set it up as individual conditionals. Let me know if that helps or you have any additional questions!

    Thanks for the tuo, but I want tomake a review stars form about reviews from my target, then I wish make a conditional, as if the review leved is under 4 stars dont publish on my site, any clue of how can I get that?

    • @ZenProjects
      @ZenProjects  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes - the default value can be stored as a number which can then be used in conditional logic. You could use conditional logic if you're using Ninja forms with the front-end posting plugin, and conditional logic should be able to determine what gets posted and what doesn't.

    I'm having trouble with my conditional logic fields not showing when they're submitted to my email. Is there a way to fix that?

    • @ZenProjects
      @ZenProjects  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello there! The conditional logic fields should be showing up in your notification e-mails. In the admin email setup, have you selected all fields, or have you customized the e-mail? That would be the first place I'd look. If you have additional problems, you can e-mail me directly at support at lattepress.com - Cheers, Dan

    Can I instead of having a submit at the end, show a download file depending of the options selected? for example, select make of car, then select model, then select year, and int he end when they have a specific 'car' they can see a datasheet? I don't need to send the info, I need to show a specific file.

    • @ZenProjects
      @ZenProjects  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey there! Yes you absolutely can do this using conditional logic and Ninja Forms. You can do it one of two ways - with Ninja forms you don't need to add a submit button at all, this is optional, so you can just setup the conditional logic to show a link (or button if you know a bit of html) for the datasheet based on the options selected. OR - if you wanted to have a submit button and give them kind of a "completing the form" feel, you could redirect them to a page with the download for the datasheet based on their options, as you can set up multiple actions on form submission with conditional logic too. But - if you just want to show them a file based on options with no submit button that's definitely possible.

    I bought Ninja Forms Conditional, installed, activated and when I want to configure conditionals, there is no action. All forms are visible on one page. They aren't working. I don't know if there is a problem with theme or something else.

      Hey NF -
      First I apologize in the delay in responding. For some reason TH-cam is holding comments for review even though the setting is on auto-approve - and I just realized I'm not getting notifications for comments.
      I'm sure you've sorted this out by now but:
      When you say "there is no action" can you explain a bit more what you mean? The conditional logic is done in the "Advanced" section so it's not seen within the forms which can be a bit confusing your first time. Are you able to see the conditional logic but it's not giving you options? Let me know!
      Cheers,
      Dan

    Can you redirect to certain urls in your wordpress site based on certain logic?

      Hey Yazan -
      First I apologize in the delay in responding. For some reason TH-cam is holding comments for review even though the setting is on auto-approve - and I just realized I'm not getting notifications for comments.
      I'm sure you've sorted this out by now but:
      Yes! You'll need the conditional logic add-on for NInja forms but you can definitely add conditional logic to the redirect depending on how they fill out the form, etc. It's under the e-mail and actions, each action has a conditional logic section once you have the addon.
      Cheers,
      Dan

    I am creating a registration form (with Ninja Forms) for a powerlifting meet. There is a flat fee to enter, and if a person wants to enter into another category (or class), after asking them the question of whether or not they want to enter another class, they would be charged a reduced rate for each additional class. We are also charging a flat fee for a t-shirt.
    How do I use CL so that I can add on the additional fee(s) to the form that will not only reflect the additional class, but also charge them the added class fee(s) and the t-shirt?
    I do have the PayPal Express plugin so that I can use that invoice as a receipt to show that they paid for both the entry, the t-shirt and the optional class add-on. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

      I'm sure you've sorted this out by now but:
      For this you'd want to use both the conditional logic addon and the calculation addon. You can use them in combination to determine the total base on which classes they signed up for. So your total field would be a calculated field, depending on which classes had been signed up for, minus the discounts they received + the flat fee for the t-shirt. Let me know if you got this sorted out or if you still need help and I can walk you through it!
      Cheers,

      Hey There - Are you using the "All Fields" default in the e-mail, or are you entering in the fields manually? I'm about to update this playlist (within the next week) so I'll do a video specifically about conditional logic and the notification e-mail. Look for it next week if you're still having trouble, or email me directly via the lattepress.com website and i'll help out.

      yes i am using all fields and if i mark this a Required Field don't show up is weird www.usclassic-cars.com/transportanfrage/ some fields never get forwarded to me like Baujahr or kaufpreis

    • @ZenProjects
      @ZenProjects  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Got it. I double-checked this the other day and I had no issue getting conditional fields to show up in the e-mail, so there may be an issue with the setup of the conditional logic. If you pop into our slack or e-mail me directly I can take a look and I'm sure we can sort it out.

      Hey Yasin -
      Yes, the core ninja forms plugin is free but for conditional logic you'll need the additional addon, which is paid:

    I need help with the following conditional logic:
    When
    (field A) Equals (field B)
    Do
    Submit = Hide Field
    If the Condition Is Not Met
    Submit = Show Field
    problem is, "field B" cannot be selected from a drop down menu. if i place a fixed value, that would defeat the purpose of this logic. how can i populate that field from wordpress data. e.g., wp:user_username

      Hey Mueed,
      In the default value you should be able to use ninja forms merge tags:: ninjaforms.com/docs/merge-tags/ - this can insert field values, and then you can use that to compare.
      Cheers,
      Dan
