    I have a question. How do i set the default value as another field. For example i have a label First Name and a label called Surname. Can i create a Label called Full name and it would merge the 2 fields ?

      Hey Dale, yes you should be able to do this using merge tags. ninjaforms.com/docs/merge-tags/

    How do you create / modify 2 container classes for a field. ex. I need to indent and also make 2 columns? thanks

      Hey Mike - If you don't know CSS - the easiest way to style NInja forms is by using the Styles & Layouts extension. It's a paid extension but makes styling forms a lot easier. We have a video covering it in our ninja forms playlist. That being said - Ninja forms has built in CSS classes you can use - take a look here: ninjaforms.com/row-column-form-layouts/ - this will help you setup the columns, then you can use padding to indent the fields as needed. Let me know if that helps.

    I have been using Ninja Forms for sometime now and I am wanting to know how to make the output (a form that has been submitted) look cool when it appears in my inbox or the clients inbox. The look and feel is clinical/sterile and I am wanting to add a nice look and feel to the output? Help greatly appreciated.

      Hey Hugo - There's two ways you can do this I can think of, one would be to use the ninja forms editor (ninjaforms.com/blog/customize-ninja-forms-email/) - which will still be pretty basic but gives you some level of control. The other would be routing e-mails through Mandrill or Mailchimp, in which case you case you can create a general e-mail template used by your site. You can also do this manually. So the content itself can be formatted, then you can create a nice style around it via your e-mail template.

    Do you have a video on serving up a user a link based on their choice on a dropdown menu? I am trying to figure out how to create a form with one question called: Where are you? and based on the answer I want to send them to a specific page on my site. Any guidance would be appreciated! Thank you!

      Hey There - You can definitely do this. You can insert the link into an HTML field and then show the HTML field that corresponds to the related dropdown. With Ninja, the submit button is optional so you can hide this and do it right on the page - or if you want a record of submissions, leave it. If you have them submit, you can also display a message (which would be your link) in the text they see after submission, as conditional logic can be applied to this text as well or the e-mail they are sent. Let me know if that helps!

    Can I Show/Display the entries data to another page? So that user can submit the form and anytime see their submitted data.

      Hey! You can do this to a limited extent using: ninjaforms.com/extensions/front-end-posting/ - but it's not a full fledged system. Check out what it can do and see if that works for you. Otherwise, you can use Toolset (we have a whole playlist on toolset you can look at) using the Forms plugin and creating forms which create content, and then using the Views plugin to create pages and views where users can create content. I also have a video covering how to have it so users can view and edit their own content, etc. Check that out. You can also do this using Gravity Forms, which has an add-on similar to ninja, but if you're not a developer, the toolset suite helps a lot with creating front-end interfaces for displaying and managing content. Let me know if that helps!

    Hi there, thanks so much for all of the videos you create!! I am hoping you or anyone who reads this can help me...The currency symbol of the product field does not show up on my Ninja Form -
    I am using the built-in Product field which shows the currency symbol in the field settings, however it does not appear on my form on the front-end. Same problem with the Total field, no dollar sign is appearing. I checked the settings and it is set to US Currency, but yet it does not show up. Thank you so much!!

      Answered on your previous comment but just in case!
      Hey Darlene,
      First I apologize in the delay in responding. For some reason TH-cam is holding comments for review even though the setting is on auto-approve - and I just realized I'm not getting notifications for comments.
      I'm sure you've sorted this out by now but:
      This is a bug with ninja forms, go into the settings and change the currency to something else, save, then go back to the currency you want and the proper symbol and decimals should show.
      Let me know if that works for you!
      Cheers,
      Dan

    How do I restrict the forms to members only

    • @ZenProjects
      @ZenProjects  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Cardano - An easy way to do this, if you're not talking about paid membership is the free WordPress Groups plugin. wordpress.org/plugins/groups/ - with this you can use shortcodes to hide the forms (or page content) to only a specific group (either subscribers or a custom role you create). If you need paid membership it's a bit more complicated but still pretty easy to setup. You can also set group control for an entire page.

    how do I add two fields on one line?

    • @ZenProjects
      @ZenProjects  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Roman - in order to have two form fields next to eachother you can do this two ways, using built-in CSS classes or by using the layout add-on. Please see here for more info: ninjaforms.com/blog/single-row-wordpress-signup-form/
