  • Conditional logic is powerful functionality that allows your forms to update dynamically depending on previous form input. It also allows you to set conditions for notifications and field visibility.
This video will guide you through using Conditional Logic in Gravity Forms to both show and hide form fields, setup additional notifications and use in conjunction with calculating fields.

Hey! Gravity forms unfortunately doesn't have a free version - you can purchase it using the link in the description below. If you need a form builder with a free version - take a look at Ninja Forms (however, even with them you'd need to buy the conditional logic addon).

    Hey,
How can I add value to unchecked checkbox? I want to have different values for checked and unchecked checkbox

Hey Sebastian - For gravity forms this isn't really possible. There's just the value for the field in general and they don't have a single checkbox field - just one for multiple. May be better to do this through a dropdown field or checkboxes with options for both (so yes/no for example).

How can I use conditional logic based on another field that has a tag as a default value setup? For example, that default value tag is {Parent:4} which means the Value that it displays is "Sample"
So for the conditional logic, I want this new field to only display if that default value of that field is "Sample"
But for some reason it is only working if I set the condtional logic value to {Parent:4} instead of the text value " Sample"

Hey there! Very sorry for the delay I was in the process of moving back to the US and was in transit for the past week. If you haven't sorted this out yet, shoot me an email at support@lattepress.com as there's a few things we'll need to try/discuss and it would be difficult via youtube comments. :)

    Hi.
Many thanks for this presentation which is very good for me.
One question please. I have a word document with some text but have some gaps to fill from gravity form results.
example. in word document I write:
    - My name is Alex. I have ... years old and I am .......
the two blanks above should be filled automatically with outputs given from "gravity form in wordpress website".
    Form:
1/ How old are you? (choose correct answer)
    - 10
    - 20
    -30
    2/ What is your job
    - Mecanic
    - Engineer
    - doctor
I have difficulty to link between wordpress gravity form and microsoft word. Could you please help me?
    Thanks in advance.

Hey - Unfortunately it wouldn't really be possible to combine these two things. The best you can do would be to create an e-mail template in this format, and then copy into Word. You could also generate a PDF from it instead, but creating a doc file would require some custom dev, and Im not sure offhand if it's possible.
