      Just redesign the pedal Plates. The holes in it hurt your feet when using it with socks. A 3D printet cover is a easy fix. otherwise the pedals are really really great.

    Personally I don't get excited about much hardware, as my set up is at final form, until something fails and needs replacing. However I love to see all the new stuff regardless, brilliant to see SimLab expanding their portfolio excited to see what else they have to come.

      I would be similar if I wasn’t in my position. In fact I came from a mindset of “what I have is decent, why should I bother upgrading” and that’s where the channel was born. I try not to lose that but it’s easy to get desensitised to high end hardware 😂😂😂

    Welcome to the party! I'm using these pedals and I love them. I also 3D printed some little caps for the screw holes. It really helped with the comfort when using only socks. If you want some let me know and I'll see about getting some to you. I mounted mine to the pedal plate and the seat/pedal slider. Talk about adjustability! I didn't need to adjust them very mush out of the box as I am currently using a homemade wooden seat/pedal base as my "rig" so I get a little flex and I'm probably not getting absolute true feedback from the pedals. Hopefully I'm upgrading soon. Maybe when I'm back to work... had open heart surgery on Sept 11, 2024. Off until early December. But after a year, I truly love the pedals and have had no issues at all.

    Believe me ive tried telling people! Lol the biggest complaint from people i see is the location of the pins on the bottom but man these pedals are goated. But yeah the invicta pedals are def stiffer imo lol. But these are just perfectly setup out of the box tbh.
    These pedals US are 500 dollars for the dual set. Its a steal.
    Also wow that invicta here with that car was going a bit wild! Love to see it. You could def see you were having fun with this combo.
    These pedals tbh have one of the best progressive feelings ive felt.

    Hey Laurance, my understanding from this video is that the Sim Lab XP-1 pedals perform really well out of the box with essentially no setup required. How does the Simagic P1000 pedals compare once they setup and "dialed in" so to speak. Are they similar or is there a definitive difference between the them? Thanks.

    I'll be looking to upgrade from the V3s. Investigated the P1000s (hydraulic upgrade and haptics) and VRS Pro pedals.
    I just want a rly good performance, it will take a long time until active pedals reach mass markets.
    But now simlab releases these pedals. Recently gt1evo rig and for me it is so incredibly great.
    The V3s aren't the greatest but they are quite simple and not much to adjust, I've found the max performance I can get out of them without needing to go overboard with constant adjustments. (which is tiring also, accessing a corner of the room moving the cockpit messing around it's bothersome)

    They look cool and were on my list for when I needed new pedals. Went with VX-Pro pedal instead because I did not want elastomer based pedals. I think the VX-Pro and the XP-1's both deserve more attenttion but I think we have this thing with sim racing where we might have to many of everything. I feel like at this price point it becomes a "whatever you get is going to be fine" sort of thing and your not really going to see a benefit from the one over the other pedal set. Only personal preference.

    • @LaurenceDusoswa
      @LaurenceDusoswa  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Isnt the drop off because of elastomer?

    • @LaurenceDusoswa

    • @martintop2605
      @martintop2605 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I cant understand how you can pay 650-7000 euro for pedals + 160 Euro for pedal plate and have to solve problems that producer overlooked and a are well known in the community. This elastomer relaxation problem actually can cost you performance. On Fanatec CSL Elite V2 with 3 smaller elastomers and spring this problem dont exist and you even have more options for adjusting the brake feel (Trough 3 elastomers with different strength.)

  • @Gorilla_Jones
    @Gorilla_Jones หลายเดือนก่อน +3

    Why? Because other influencers are bought and paid for. I've had mostly every set of pedals that are on the market now and these are probably one of the best especially for the price. These are $1000 pedals all day easily. They're my new permanent set.
    And you are way off about the quality of the pedals, way off. 🤦
    Socks is not more comfortable, a nice comfy set of loafers or Racing shoes with compression socks is way more comfortable.

    • @LaurenceDusoswa
      @LaurenceDusoswa  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I think that’s unfair towards other ‘influencers’ to be honest.
      As for the quality. It’s just the smoothness and finish. I’m sure they’re plenty strong but I also said the feel and look is relatively unimportant once they’re mounted.
      As for comfort, people are allowed to have opinions :) someone’s opinion is not to be mistaken for fact.

      @@geoffreybees We currently have the Logitech G29 setup that we purchased years ago, Dec 2018, in an attempt to get our son interested in driving way before he was able to get a license due to his interest in video games. We were not successful in our endeavor. It sat there for literally years with essentially no to very little use. Then about a little over a year and half ago he suddenly gained interest. He has been using it rather extensively and identified that he wanted to upgrade. He said he wanted the P1000 pedals due to their adjustability. From what I have researched any new equipment offerings from the major brands will blow away what we currently have. They all have something to offer depending on personal preferences. If I were buying something strictly for my personal use I am not sure if I would stay within any brand’s ecosystem or go the different component route.
