I just returned from my local dealer, after sitting in two of these, they were unlocked. Had to be quick, as I did not want to be eaten by a salesperson. 😂😂😂. With that said, this car did not remind me of a GM at all. I felt like I was sitting in a Honda, which is what the goal is, right? The interior room was mind blowing, and second row will swallow you in space. I am even sold more now, after having experienced this first hand versus just the you tube videos. Love this car.

I wasn't excited about the Prologue initially. I like the Kia EV6 and Ioniq 6, but I am now convinced that if I saw this Honda at the dealership, I would seriously consider it.
I do also love the fact that you can use Google Maps right in front of you.
That combined with me growing up with Hondas, I'm not sure if I would buy the Kia or Hyundai instead of the Prologue.
I love a solid, smooth ride and it sounds like that's exactly what Honda is bringing to the table.

Ease of access to critical bits - yes. Frunk -. 😮. Looked like there was space for one. @@Georgewashington-o7m No way, not ever. These prices are out of range for more than half of the vehicle-purchasing people in this country. Prices like these are why CCS vehicles are piling up and rusting away on dealer lots. When someone (most likely from China) starts selling electric vehicles for around half of these prices, then finally people might start considering the purchase of battery electric vehicles. Though, they STILL most likely wouldn't be able to "charge them at home." The reality of battery electric vehicles at this moment in time is absolutely ludicrous. Just fine if you have money to buy them, if you have money to buy a home with a garage you can install Level 2 charging in, and indeed if you have money to install Level 2 charging in your garage, this might work for you. But that just doesn't describe somewhere around 99% of humanity on this planet. This is mobility for only 1% of humanity on the planet -- and that's not going to add up to an "electric revolution."

@@tom_hoots You realize the AVERAGE new car price in America is north of $47,000 right? Yes, this is expensive, but comparatively to the Blazer EV, the Prologue is a better value. Also consider the Elite trim after tax credit if you qualify for the full amount, will bring the price down into the low 50's. Total cost of ownership will be far lower than its gas equivalent vehicles. You're also wrong in saying electric vehicles fit only 1% of the population. They could easily fit into the life of many Americans if they chose to and didn't believe all the FUD about these great vehicles. 7:08 - since it's Ultium underneath, the only thing we want to know is DOES THE SOFTWARE WORK...? cause if it does, then it implies GM has deliberately programmed in the software glitches to the Hummer Truck, Hummer SUV, Lyriq, and Blazer EV.

Rated at 12.5 watts x 2 @ 4Ω and then 250 x 2 @ .5Ω stereo, or 500 @ 1 Ω bridged. Helped me hit 141dB with two Soundstream SPL12’s in a sealed box. Not even ported. I really wish reviewers would stop calling this "[Honda's] first all-electric vehicle for the United States" - this is their *FOURTH* Honda EV to be available in the US.
They leased the "EV Plus" from 1997-1999, the first EV to use a battery technology other than lead-acid. (The other late '90s EVs would all follow suit in updates.) Although they made extremely few of these, this had the lowest production volume of any of the "made by a major automaker" late '90s EV that actually ended up in consumer hands. And much like the GM EV1, all were leased, with no option to purchase.
Honda made the Fit EV variant of the ICE Fit from 2013-2015. In moderate numbers in "CARB" states. Officially it was only supposed to be available for lease, with no option to purchase; but a few snuck out. I have a neighbor who still has one that they will hold on to until the sun swallows the Earth.
The Clarity Electric was available from 2017-2019. Yet again, lease-only.
I suppose if you specified "for purchase" rather than a general statement, it would be accurate.
Of course, by this pattern, the Prologue will stop production in 2026. :-D

Unfortunately, as you come off highways into off ramp curves you really feel how heavy these things are and how resistant they are to turning. It's not a deal breaker. There's a reason GM is stopping sales of their Blazer EV while Honda is launching their Prologue. It's simple really, GM is a greedy vampire trying to bake bloated paywalls into their software. Honda kept it simple by offering Android Auto and CarPlay. Two very useful things GM got rid of in hopes of milking consumers by offering their paid alternative. I love the karma of it all. Hope it costs them Billions. And I hope Vinfast can take over their spot

And its OK. New Supra is extremely tight inside, but I did fit. I would never buy one, since it is a toy car. This, on the other hand, is an excellent daily driver. I drove the Prologue today and loved it. Sharp, comfortable, simple. Prologue drives better than any other new Honda SUV

Its hard to get a sense of how good or bad your review is. You should compare it to something we can relate to like the Tesla. I would want to know more about the charging more about the 0-60 time. More about the tech. Really this was a poor review. Did not answer even half my questions and now I have to find another review that might do a better job.

Sorry guys ,but 296 miles divided by 2.55 kilograms of hydrogen ( 85 ÷ 33.333 ) is 116.08 miles per kilogram of hydrogen. NOT 107 MPGe. To calculate miles per gallon of gasoline we need to convert kilograms of hydrogen to gallons of gasoline ( 2.55 ÷ 0.3715 ) = 6.86 gallons. So 296 ÷ 6.86 = 43.15 MPG or 43.15 MPGe .
