Man I gotta be honest I did not know I needed that, but having actual, real numbers is so good to have instead of listening or having to believe what all the self-proclaimed "Build Gods" telling you that something is "busted" and "op" is a God sent thing. Please keep up the good work and I am eager to see more spread sheets. Have a good one!
@McPterodactyl if you make you build on dim, it tells you all the percentages for each mod. Unfortunately they also don't have the percentages for super mods. Pretty frustrating Bungie doesn't just tell you this. In a game where the numbers are so important to buildcrafting you would think they'd cover it in the mods description. I've seen so many builds with double or triple stacked mods that are only giving them an additional 3-5 percent when they could be getting a full 10 percent on a different ability.
@McPterodactyl well I've always been an analytical kind of person, and I apply that to destiny. I never seem to have the time though to actually do the testing to see what works and what doesn't, and I love the videos you've made where you show exactly what the numbers say. Like in the mods videos you've done where you show the percentages that the mods apply, it is very helpful to see, as well as interesting to learn, and I love that kind of content.
I also wanted to add that this spread sheet is easily one of the most useful things I've had access to in my ten years of playing destiny, so thank you.
You’re doing really great work here and I’m looking forward to any and all content you release in the future. It’s super informative and presented in a very digestible and understandable way, which has been mighty helpful for myself and others. Keep up the awesome work :D
Just found this channel not 30 mins ago and iam on my 3rd vid. I've watched hundreds of vids on D2 but iam not an expert. All I do want to say is "make more vids". Great shares, thank you... "👍"...
I rarely use arc resistance since I found out that its much weaker resistance than having riskrunner. I had 1 or 2 iirc or maybe even 0 on the latest dungeon, while my other friends ran 1-3 mods. They wouldn't last full boss blast or moths while I was there like what moths :D
Thanks for these vids, your work is appreciated my guy. Its really kinda ridiculous there's so much happening with these mods that bungie just doesn't tell you.
@@MarekVychodil most games with this level of build crafting tell you at least something, if not everything. It almost feels like they're scared to tell you an exact number in Destiny. Tooltips enhance build crafting by removing this external barrier. There is no negative to more knowledge except overwhelming a player, which is where toggles come in.
Would love to know if you’ve updated these spreadsheets as per the most recent nerfs and updates to mods. Otherwise we need this kind of content! It’s super useful when buildcrating especially with our new exotic class
Your data videos are great. I'll make a probably stupid question relating the font mods: the different stats mods (agility, str, disc, etc) do stack with each other? I'm thinking of making a build with 70 on many stats and depend on these mods to get to 100.
@@McPterodactyl distribution 100% gives super energy, although I’ve only tested it on warlock. I use it in a mantle of battle harmony build with dynamo on stasis warlock
This is different on a weapon to weapon basis. For instance the new rocket will benefit from 3 reserves, but most weapons don't. Then perks like Field Prep will make it even more complicated. Just test it out on your favorite heavy weapons is all I can say for now.
I can't put Impact Induction as well as some other mods on my Hunter gauntlets for some reason even though I have enough energy and a high enough Guardian rank. Does anyone know why?
Nice spreadsheet! I was playing with it, and I was wondering if I found a mistake/typo. I put on double arc resistance and a concussive dampener resistance and I got 36.25% resist for arc. If I put triple arc resistance, I only get 35% resistance. Let me know if that's a typo.
Are you talking about at the bottom where it says max arc resist? If so this is correct. All that spot is doing is comparing all possible damage sources (sniper, melee, AoE) of that element to see which is the highest DR%.
i know before lightfall, super mods like ashes to assets gave different amounts of super depending on the tier of enemy killed. is this no longer the case? great work on the resource btw
@@McPterodactyl I have the old pre-lightfall data that I'll put in my next reply. Might save you some time testing. T1 a tier 1 enemy (minor) all the way up to a T4 (boss)

I can't be 100% sure but if I recall correctly it counts as a grenade AND a melee, but can only benefit from one one or the other for mods. To make it more clear, Firepower and Heavy Handed both would make an orb from a grapple melee. However having both mods will still only make one orb.
you can get two orbs having one of each from my goofing around testing yesterday. Not sure about stacking ashes to assets/hands on- that combo seemed to be giving a small amount of super so it's probably not working.
Wait a second... I swear that after 4 orbs pickup with insulation I get back my rift, in fact I can spam COTD every few seconds in the middle of ads. I'l have to see if something else is at play
COTD? Is that supposed to be Child of the Old Gods maybe? If that's the case, that aspect intrinsically refunds class ability energy for getting kills.

Nice! Maybe this data can help the destiny data compendium since they haven't updated a lot of their mods for lightfall?
I forgot about that thing. I did throw a tweet at the Light.GG twitter to give them the numbers they didn't have, but got no response.
Lightgg aren't responsible for those numbers, as they are provided by Clarity

Yeah it'll stack. You can put on as many different ones as you want, even duplicates stack as well.
How much do the Font mods boost your stats by, I always assume 1 tier but I may be wrong
It should be 30/50/60 for 1/2/3 mods. So a pretty large benefit if you can fit them into your build.
@@McPterodactylthx
