Divine Beast Dancing Lion boss fight in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree DLC on PC in 4K BFD, Boss Fight Database. Divine Beast Dancing Lion boss battle.
Camera and all the friggin effects used, likes cinematic as all hell, but half the time I can't see it because it is to close, the other half its like strobe lights in a rave going off all over the screen between the different elements.
Actually there is no people under there. This is a lion-men hyprid monster. I read that it's inspired by the dog-girl hyprid from fullmetal alchimist anime
So far, I am yet to beat this boss. I dislike how unpredictable and untelegraphed it’s attacks are, and it just spams AOE’s in its second phase. Yes, I am bad at the game. Yes, I need to get gud. No, I probably wont
I'm horrible too. I used the summon co op outside the arena and dung eater for support. You don't need to 'get good' like the try hards tell you to. Just enjoy the game how you want it's your money you spent. All the best.
@@MrStealYourBiatch cheers bro, good to see others of that mindset are still out here. I’m honestly not THAT bad either. Just moping for melodramatic effect lol
His moves may seem random at first but after learning the moves it is so easy to read every attack. Just focus on learning, not dealing dmg. Thats how i beat him, even tho my fight took 6 min bc of my low dmg weapon.
You can predict alot of his attacks through the movement of his mouth. Try to stick in front of him and read his charges, then counter once hes done attacking.
@@antonioducc4501 try to power stance any fast weapon, he really has no open windows so you just have to pray that when your close enough to him that he does not hit you. Of course another thing you could use is summons but apparently people consider that “cheating”
I did it 3rd try with the Guardian Swordspear and that's it. Honestly it's more about seeing everything in it's entirety. If you focus too mechanically on it's moveset you will fail, focus more on the flow of the Lion's movement, that will hint when it is about to attack.
Beat him with Freyja and Heavy Greatsword +25 w/ Lion's Claw. Took around 10-15 tries over 20 minutes. So far I haven't found a boss I can't beat, but I did run to Bayle for shits and giggles and man... that boss is rough lol.
I thought it'd be harder, beat it on my 3rd try with a basic halberd. Honestly, i believe people put too much focus on working out battles mechanically, and they are too stiff. If they were to focus more on the flow of the movement of the Lion instead, they will have a better chance of understanding when it will attack. Try to loosen up a bit during the fight.
You summoning and usa op weapons like this, you are using blood i can know you have 2 katana? You playing like a B, this is not soul experience. This game is fkg hard if you are playing like a soul game
fr, and if you actually listen to the music and dance to it, it's just a spectacle and flows so nicely, I know because I did it and the moment I tuned to the rhythm of the music, I won. And I'm not even good at the game lol
@@godreaper8928this is one of the best bosses in Fromsoft games. You can see all his attacks, just dodge normally. I killed him with two greataxes, in melee, and visibility of his attacks wasn't a problem
@@Kishiro64before this, only Gael gives me so fair challenge, with normal windows to attack him, and without bullshit attacks, like Malenia's waterfowl, or Aldrich tracking arrows, and in same time, with so epic fight
Once again peak Fromsoft spectacle boss design but terrible execution. They doubled down on the BS from late game Elden Ring. Still like the DLC so far but what is with the anime attack nonsense.
@@Vicjxnn I've beaten the base game and optional bosses without summons except for Godskin Duo with mainly a melee build and even started a Rl1 run but ok lol.
Divine Beast Dancing Lion has GOT to be the stupidest name for a boss I’ve ever heard in my life. It feels like there’s no thought or care put into the creativity of it all. 🤦🏻♂️
@@DeathLoretell me about it! 🙄 It’s honestly ridiculous, especially on any form of New Game iteration. I witnessed this myself, from the few bosses I actually bothered to fight. I wasted a perfectly-good character & said “Goodbye” to the entire game altogether because of that. And it’s about $100 in total I’ll never get back.
@@Daniel-or3gb The Eurogamer guy was actually wrong though. He complained about the difficulty when that isn’t the problem. It is the blessings barely doing anything to help you.
@@gabwyn-art There is, because casuals shouldn't play souls games, but ER is pretty casual friendly and it sold very good so the next FromSoftware game might also lean into more casual experience. Which hurts the Souls-like genre for hardcore players.

As an Asian I can confirm

Probably my favourite fromsoft boss design yet, so unbelievably eerie and daunting hearing that roar.
The camera is the real boss in this fight bruh
Nope

Absolutely insane bossfight and introduction.

Barongsai on steroids

Just use a mimic, I found it to be impossible without it (lvl 200 strg build). I'm just average at the game :P
good job bro 🤟 i rock moonlight greatsword with my mage build too!
One of the best weapons in the game.

Oddly enough I beat it on my first try. I used magma blade + 10 and serpent gods curved sword (hoarfrost stomp AOW) + 25
