Mine actually came with three 16 rd mags. Absolutely love the gun.

Well now this was a interesting video and the TX-22 competition has definitely been One of the best 22LR semi-auto pistols that I have ever owned. It was my favorite 22LR pistol until I purchased the sig Sauer p322 and I like the sig Sauer slightly better. My Taurus came with 16 round magazines but the sig Sauer p322 came with 20 round magazines and I also purchased two factory 25 round magazines.

It is very strange why the Kel-Tec P17 is not even mentioned in this Video? I'm quite sure that this Taurus is a fine gun But so is my P17, of which I own two. I purchased my first one three years ago and it has proved to be so good, so I purchased another one four months later and I have shot well over 1000 rounds in each with no problems at all! I paid only $212 for each and they made a believer out of me for the Kel-Tec Platform! Good luck with your Taurus but I will stick with my 2 KT's!

Canik makes quality pistols, I’ve been happy with mine. You absolutely can’t be the price for what you get. My biggest complaint is lack of magazine availability. Haven’t tried the TX 22 but everything you see is positive. I have the Sig P322 and have been happy, no issues at all. Suppressed 22 is the most fun I have shooting.

Hey, I have a question! Can you just take off the square base mounting plate for the optics entirely if you want to run the gun with just the iron sights, or do they have to be there? They look funny with no optic. Nobody sees to have the answer to this.

@@GSquaredTactical Thanks. I bought one. Just tried it first time today. Over 200 rounds and not even a hitch. It's great. I'm using it with the factory sights, don't even want an optic. FYI, Taurus sells a fiberglass plate that replaces the optics mount plate and makes the gun look cool. You can also get a picatinny plate that screws on same way if you wanna use a pic rail instead of the mountings plates. This gun really rocks! Fired mostly hot rounds, CCI minimags and Federal Punch. It likes it hot! Also tried softer stuff, even just federal range ammo and remington golden bullets, again it ate everything and didn't even burp! This thing is a ton of fun!

What ammo that you recommend for the TX22 competition?
We was shooting Aguila solid copper point 40 grain, Federal America Eagle 38 grain CPHP and CCI 40 grain lead nose and even some crap in a zip lock bag it ran it all. @@GSquaredTactical I just went to the range again I use CCI 40 Grain high-velocity poly-coated lead and CCi mini mag VARMINT 36 grain it's actually squishing and bending the bullets. Any suggestions?
