Those DSG farts ❤
DSG farts on a Kia. i've lived to see the day 😮😄
our family cerato GT does 0-100 a couple seconds faster, it's stock aswell. is that normal? (its a sedan, bought less then a year ago)
What timing equipment are you using?
Price?
Not a fan of how the exhaust tips look, the new facelift will definitely need to grow on me. Looking forward to see this in the us
What is wrong with the panel?
This would be great if I ever stop at some lights on a freeway. Nah I kid
Does it run on 98?
Wow so this is 0.1 seconds faster than the previous gen 🙌
Power 150kw ? What is that in hp ? I have the 2023 Kia Forte GT2 Turbo and it has 201 hp and 195 lb of torque
Go back to sleep...
한국분들 계신가요?
오늘도 현기리뷰..
넹 ㅎㅎ
I like it👍👍👍👍👍
LOL, it's faster than a Kia Stinger & Genesis G70 2.0T ...
Umm no. I own the g70 2.0t AWD advanced trim(that is the lowest/base model that's available in Canada). It does 0-100 6.0-6.2 seconds. I have Draggy to prove it if you want to see.
@@Pratagraph so 2.0T AWD faster than Kia Ceraro 1.6T FWD which is faster than 2.0T RWD.
@@forte1072 @Forte yeah from a dig the rwd will be slower because it's hard to launch. But if you nail the launch or on a roll the 2.0 RWD will be faster.
It also has a lot more torque 360nm vs 265.
Either way they're meant to feel zippy they're both not fast or quick at least compared to the 3.3tt in the g70 or the stinger.
@@Pratagraph tbh i think Kia & Genesis/Hyundai overstated the 2.0T 0-100 at 6.0s.
@@forte1072 they state it at 6.2. is as mentioning what I was getting.
With all season Michelin mxm tires ( which are not sporty and meant for everyday use and long tread life) and with jb4 on a mild tune on map2 I've managed a 5.85.
With better tires like the pilot sport 4/4s I should be able to drop that a closer to 5.4-5.5.
To sum it up I don't think they overstate, but it really depends on the tires that you test them with and learning how to get the right launch.
The new facelift from the proceed is absolutely way better than this one.
In the states universally this should just be called the k3 changing the name is stupidest thing here its the forte... waiting for the performance version of this the tech and language is there waiting for the hyundai n performance stuff to make it in or the 2.5L the k5gt has
If it doesn't come to the USA as a K3GT or Forte5GT.....then KIA gets to blow it. The hatch will satisfy many small SUV'ers that are on the "fence." As always your call KIA USA. P.S. That would be the real Power to Surprise!
blow what..it is coming to the usa as the forte gt but only in the sedan and its being refreshed for the 2022 model year
relax chapo
@@jbshp2011 if you look at the "details" I stated FORTE5GT meaning 5 door hatchback....so you relax El Chapo! KIA hence blows it. Sedano is for y o u.
@@hb2088 no you relax chapo im just stating facts. kia aint blowing it..you are
@@jbshp2011 if you graduate from pre-school than you can call me Chapo, Aussie. But you don't read above that level. Only you care about the sedan Mr. Broken record.
you can hear the fake engine noise thing on the speedo camera shots lol
6.66 seconds that’s pretty good from a Kia car
The Stinger GT is a "KIA car" and does 4.7 to 100. 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️
Who the hell wants digital instrument clusters???? No one
Why does it make that fart sound omg hahahaha
I've decided not to purchase it just because of the awful driving position. You are sat too high, I'm guessing because of the electronic seat mechanism underneith.
I wish it came in a manual. I wouldn’t trust that DCT long term.
7 year warranty gives you peace of mind though
Never would've thought of hearing DCT upshifts from a Kia's ass 🥲
I know right
Max speed is 240?
6.66👀😈
Omen 6.66

Toyota prado gx please

bro what the fuck is KW in cars? just use horse power please
We are based in Australia. This is the standard measurement we use here 👍
Putting a turbo in a 4 cylinder GDI engine sounds like a disastrous money pit over time but I'm no auto engineer just my opinion 🤷
I30N has been doing it for 4 years now and it's 200kw.. show me engine failures on the N forums. There is close to none.
This engine has been around since 2011, so 11 years later I have not heard any reliability horror stories.
Those gear change farts have to go.
They’re awesome! Haha
They don’t
Yes they should go. This can only appeal to teenagers
It sounds like it's farting to me 😅
I HOPE KIA NEVER DECIDES TO SELL THAT NOISY CRAP HERE IN THE USA.
They already do. Kia Forte GT
😂
People here the word "turbo" and assume that means fast ...🤣🤣 ..
.you ssy .6.6 seconds ..
..but kia say 7 seconds .
Honesty that not fast, most new cars do that these days even a i30 does that ...soooooo 🤷♂️ .. nothing impressive here..
Lmao it’s a sport compact and on a good run wit the dct most get low 6s like 6.1-6.2 seconds and throw on a jb4 you can get mid 5s easy
Most new cars definitely do not perform the 0-100 sprint in the 6 second range, they would be lucky to do it in the 8 second range.
I am somewhat expecting your comparisons to be vehicles in a different segment or at a significant price premium.
@@joytech23 for starters i said 6.6 not 6 .
....now with that said appart from cheap cars most definitely do.. even a stock 20 year old commodore can do that 🤣🤣🤣
