Stock internals. It's reliable, as long as you don't actually use the power often. Kind of defeats the purpose, though.
I have one in hatch form and still able to get around 6.5-6.6 stock! Tuned this can easily get low 6s and handles awesome 😁 thanks for testing the sedan too!

Our family bought this car today! It looks so much better in real life. It's a sexy car, nice design. Got some nice sounds for a Kia. Impressive. Can't wait to drive it.
I just got one of these and I come up with every excuse to drive it My review is: the ride isn't as stiff as reviews make out i find it rather smooth. The jbl sound system is adequate is nothing to boast about but its leaps and bounds better than the base models. The engine is beautiful when accelerating, braking and cornering you can feel the road and adjust the steering as required. The interior is probably the best part of this car its spacey for a smallish car and the seats are comfortable the infotainment system is easy to use. Overall I love this car for its price point and what it offers id pick this over a focus or Hyundai N line everyday I did look at the civic RS but the Kia just ticked all the boxes
Test drove the corolla’s & almost puked. I sat in a Kia & knew instantly i was gonna buy it. Had the forte gt for a year now and it runs great. No regrets other than getting white but red looks good regardless. Car is very quick & great handling especially on corners it thrives. Also get compliments here & there

@@curtisfisher1028 The only thing I'd add to that is that, in Australia at least, the car is only sold with a dry DCT. It's a reliable unit, but it can only reliably handle 345nm of torque day to day. Overseas, where the manual is an option, this limit isn't a problem, but it's something to bare in mind with tuning potential.

Any average hard working person can do it plus for 26k!! Dude this car I woulda bought at 35k and been happy. So if I mod it I'd be 29k and be reliable and cheap maintenance, tires etc
The one he tested was so wrong. I have a 2.0 and I get much quicker 0-100 times and quarter mile times than what they tested. Don’t forget that the stinger weighs about 400 kg more than the cerato

Fabian Lim I have the GT Line specifically which is a 2.0 that looks exactly like a Stinger GT2 minus the Brembos. All those extra features added lots of weight to my 2.0 and my 0-60 time is about 6.9 seconds compared to the 7.8 secs or whatever it was that he got on this channel. His quarter mile time is also 15.8 seconds and while I haven’t tested mine for a quarter mile yet, according to many sites it does it in about 14.6 seconds. The 2.0 Stinger from my experience is faster than many cars at high speeds. I tried with Altima turbo, maximas, etc.. and I beat them all at high speed races. The 2021 stinger will have a 4 cylinder 2.5 that has 300 hp if you might want to wait a bit as the current 2.0 4 cylinder has 252 only. To sum it up: the 2.0 stinger is decent from 0-60 but very fast for its weight to power ratio after 60+ mph. Your car does 0-124 mph in about 31.5 seconds according to automobile catalog and the 2.0 stinger does it in 27 seconds according to the same website. Reading the numbers might not seem like much for a difference of 4 seconds but while racing the difference is very big. 2.0 stinger also has a top speed of 149 mph compared to 138 mph of your koup.

Dude even the dct is not an automatic it' has 2 gear boxes and basically no clutch pedal so it drives like a manual specially when you drive it with the shifter in manual mode
So basically a dct transmission is a manual with no foot clutch pedal but you can manually shift threw your gears downshift and etc it's really fun. It's not like a cvt automatic with shiftronic where you can shift it

One of the guys on the forums running a Racechip got a 6.1 second run, and that's without other mods. This car has tuning potential.

limits of FWD really. Astra VXR tested hit 100 in 5.9 which has 206kw 2.0 T, while the later model Astra RSV with 1.6T and 147kw hit 100 in 6.42.

The Cerato GT sedan is about 100kg lighter... the i30N has good hardware but it's a little chubby ;)
