Have you compared RV4 and RV3 with each other? Which one is better when it comes to sound quality (I'm not interested in digital add-ons).
got this one just 2 days before this review lol, waiting for the 707 signatures next week to arrive for the optimal pairing !

Had anyone manage to swap the tubes so far? It seems engineering gone mad, the protection on top is not removable by user friendly means.

Still happy with the rv4? I have s1109 speakers. Missing grip on the bass with the rv4. The rv2 was a much much more powerful amplifier!
Yes, love my RV4. I find the bass tight and powerful. My speakers are Zu Audio DW2 with Jupiter Cap upgrade. I use a sub wired directly out of the amp to fill out the sound though the speakers and amp run happily without a sub too.
