Can you review the dsi-3 i have no idea how the ground jumpers and power works

I've bought the DP-UB9000 for my bedroom and soon will be buying one for my living room. The only thing I don't like is the Netflix button. They should have made 2 remotes one with the Netflix button one without give people a choice.

I love the fact that Technics included a diagram on the box(!) of how the contents are packed so that you can easily repack it if necessary. Had to send back a Rega TT recently and it took me 2 days, several unboxing videos and several whiskeys to get it back in the box properly.

My volume control sounds scratchy and my right side fades in and out. How easy is it to clean this? Any insight would be hlepful.

How many watts ?

I've been using this power amp for over 1 year now. It sounds natural and correct with all kinds of music. It only needs to be given some "voltage" from the premp/sources when connected via XLR to make it perform at its best, that's because the input sensitivity in XLR is 4V (1V in RCA). It's detailed and smooth without being exposed on any particular frequency. It has a strong and powerful bass. The possibility to set the damping factor is very useful to me, it has to do with negative feedback, the lower setting applies less feedback, which is the setting I've been liking the most on 99% of the music. I do not suggest to use it without a proper pream though (i.e. DAC with variable output). I've tried different set ups and ended up getting the best sound with a stand alone preamp/linestage of good quality. This could sound obvious however it could be not the case with other power amps of lower quality.

Hi! You call them three way speakers even if they have 2 tweeters and one bass/midrange speaker! How is it really? Had the quantum 757 but thinking about theese to my now smaller space.

I've been having my eye on these for... probably a good year now, if not longer, after actually having my eye on the 1000 and 1500 passive ones. While I would've liked a set of those, they are just quite large and perhaps a little hard to drive well without a proper amplifier, plus the size and price-tag I suppose, particularly the size, for which I'd have to have gone with the 1000-version anyway. - But it's one of those things where it's good that it kind of fended me off of actually buying them, because then these 800s appeared. And as I'm a sucked for nifty features on products like these, the fact that they're basically Bluetooth-speakers was "funny" enough to me that I just wanted to have them. I mean, I kinda hate your typical Bluetooth-speaker, even though there are some impressive ones for their size, they're fine for some very casual listening. But that in contrast these are basically audiophile to some extent makes it funny to be able to say "This is my Bluetooth-speaker.". But that said, I also love that they're self-powered, with nothing else necessary, and besides Bluetooth also an Optical input, with the HDMI and even more so the Phono (and Auxilary) connectivity as a nice bonus. But even a subwoofer-out, because it's quite essential, especially when you have anything smaller than say 10" woofers. - I'm sure these will do fine, but if you want that content below 30-40Hz or whatever, you can add it. Besides that, I love the "retro" look of it. I'm not an old guy, though still a Millennial, but I'm so used to the same old boring matte black that the "wood grain" trend is still not boring. It's almost always nicer than just plain. - Oh, and they added a remote-control, which is especially handy. - Maybe it would've been nice if they also had a coaxial digital connection, although I doubt you can really hear a difference, it would've been a nice-to-have. And perhaps a way to bypass the amplifier to use them passively, even though I assume the built-in one is exactly attuned to this set of speakers and you don't need another one, or it might even throw it out of balance for power or sound. - I don't know. But I'll be receiving my Bluetooth-speakers this week.

Hi, I'd just like to point out, in your review you mention the power for the radio being 80 watts per channel and that meaning extra precautions need to be made. I bought one, and will be reviewing it on my channel here soon along with installation and sound testing. Looking through the manual, it describes the RMS power rating being 25W RMS. Even if that figure were true, about 99% of stock systems would be able to handle that, however real-world testing shows the RMS power closer to 16 or 17 watts. 80 watts would only be if lightning struck it, and just based off the real world data, that peak measurement should probably be more like 52 watts at best. It's not a bad unit, but it's on par with sonys of 5-10 years ago from a power perspective.

Same, still using mine in 2024... works great, sounds great.

Mac Audio is only chinese mass products and wit "Mac Audio" labeled. A lot same with Rodek, there is nothing to do with German or high end or performance. you get it used cheap and do his job. stop to telling everytime that would be German high quality shiiitt. Blaupunkt, Grundig, AEG etc... thats all NOT longer German.

My Technics SA-700K is showing signs of it´s age and I either have to mend it or get a replacement. After some deliberation I´ve now ordered a Magnat MA900 and if it sounds as good as or better than my trusty old receiver I guess I´ll retire the SA-700K. But I´ll not throw it away. Never. Over my dead body.
