Matt needs to make another what is a woman documentary...like a volume 2....I was a die hard leftist with purple hair and a straight up atheist ..... until I sat down and watched that documentary.....my entire world view came crumbling and I was able to see things for what they really are. It led me to research and seek truth . I was able to get off meds I never needed for a mental illness I never had ...I got my first car and a full time job.....I'm with my kids again and I'm starting to walk with God ....thank you Matt Walsh for saving my life ❤️

I have a good friend of mine that is a government funded clinical psychologist who was quite far to the left as well and admits that "What is a Woman" was the spark that has moved him more back into the center. 2 years ago he would have called himself a "leftist" and today he calls himself a "politically homeless moderate".
I'll add that as a life lesson: if you look up symptom lists of ambiguous things to take medications for, everyone has everything. According to symptoms lists, I'm depressed, have a heart condition, have autism, etc, etc, etc... arguably the symptoms of most things are pretty synonymous with "the human condition", and EVERYONE feels those ways... which's exactly what medical companies are going for. Grey area means everyone is on the hook to take your medication.
Anyways, to your post directly: yay for getting the life straightened out, life's messy and it ain't for the faint of heart =)

All parents certainly have a voice. It’s just waiting for you all to activate it.
What an interesting exchange between these two. They agreed in some areas but disagreed in others and were able to respectfully discuss those differences to explore the different views. The world needs more of this!

Matt was not just attacking a random trans person walking down the street minding their own business. I remember the first wave of this hitting when I was a teen back in the tumblr days. Suddenly, everyone at school was queer, exploring, demi, pan, vampsexual. We didn't know it, it felt so true to us, but it was just a safe place to escape the terrors of childhood. I don't know a single person that didn't grow out of it. I can't imagine what it's be like growing up now where parents bend to every whim
Look up gendering affirming care in France, the UK and Norway. They are finding that the majority of children suffering from this fall on the autism spectrum and over 85% are growing out of it, however, ill-intended adults are not allowing them to grow out of this and are making autistic children guinea pigs. My 10 year old son came home from school here in Canada (he goes to English school in Quebec) and excited told me he learned about sex and genders today, .. knowing what I know about watching all these gender issues online > I looked down at him, smiled and ask him "thats cool! How many genders are there then?" Meanwhile Im praying that they didnt corrupt his little mind.. he responded quickly "theres only 2 dad! Thats what the doctor that came and educated us on.. theres only man and women or boys anf girls!!.. I looked at him and gave him a big smile and told him "what a smart doctor!"

The schools are forcing it down our kid’s throat, perverts are lying in wait everywhere, and our kids are being assaulted by movies and television that everything is all about sex all the time! To combat this, in the 1980s I started teaching my kids the facts of life as soon as they could walk and talk. We didn’t sit down and have a long drawn out discussion at age 2, but we talked about the noticeable things like why mommy and daddy were different. He had a cousin who was born, and when I changed her diaper, he immediately noticed the difference, and began to ask questions. Those are teachable moments. I was able to say, “your cousin is a girl, and you are a boy. Remember, you are both different.” Their little brains can handle this and when you come around to the full explanation, it’s not so shocking for them.
Dylan Mulvaney deserves all the criticism and ridicule he gets.

Britain and America are very similar, but there's a bit more of a scope for Americans to act individually and "make a scene" than there is in the UK, so while there are lots of smart people too scared to speak up in the US, there's a much bigger minority who are willing to speak the truth, even if it's unpopular.

We could just have our teachers just be our public babysitters, and instruct our kids to not listen to what they are teaching.
One thing we could do, is just have our kids do schoolwork WE search for ourselves. There are plenty of learning apps, books, audiobooks and online homework. We will know what they have completed, and what they need to work on. I gave my kid his own homework, and I've instructed him to ignore one teacher in particular, who dyes her hair green.

While I feel bad for Winston's experience with cancel culture, what a gift it was for us - he is an excellent interviewer, he is an educated thoughtful person that helps everyone understand their positions better.... he's undoubtedly a generational talent as a musician but I'm glad he's doing what he's doing now.

I don’t know why there is so much push back to Matt’s approach. It’s been too polite for too long. The harsh truth needs to be told
Theres push-back because its personally offensive and unnecessarily so. Also because insults never achieve anything, ever. And because if that kind of language is okay when talking about people claiming to be "trans," then some people will see it as legitimising violence. He is using it about a specific man who is fully part of the misogynist and homophobic gender cult, is building a career on the denigration of women, and is influencing confused young people to emulate him, poisoning themselves with drugs and mutilating themselves with surgery. Walsh's language was actually rather moderated, and could very reasonably have been much more insulting and offensive than it was. Mulvaney has made himself a fully legitimate target for the most robust (verbal) attacks, and deserves everything he gets in that vein.
@@russellsharpe288 I agree on one point, that Dylan Mulvaney has deliberately made himself a target. It’s hard to see how his intentions could be otherwise. Psychologically one can only speculate as to why, and THAT’S the most interesting puzzle, one without a simple answer. But I don’t agree with the use of offensive and you’d say violent language (I’m afraid it is) is the solution. The main reason; aggressive language is itself a problem with potential consequences, I highlighted these above. And this is not justifiable or to be looked over.
In the town square someone dresses as Big Bird and starts shouting loudly for attention. When he hears sniggers, he tells the crowd, outnumbering him by 100 to 1, that they are bird-phobic, and that he Big-Bird, (not the original Big Bird, he added lipstick ) is the possessor of some secret knowledge . He is not approaching any kids in the town directly, nor is he demanding anything of anyone as you have incorrectly suggested.
I would suggest that members of the town starting to throw potatoes and eggs at this poor individual is a step too far, and not the way forward. Being ‘bigger’ than this individual and perhaps seeing it with humour is the dignified way.

As a left wing Feminist, I have always been alarmed at the lack of scientific rigor, medical ethics and continued medicalization of puberty, lack of definitions and adequate treatments for gender dysphoria, sexual issues and the real but tiny percentage of people born with a combination of male and female physical characteristics that are experiencing issues. In particular, I despair over the global movement against female genital mutilation (female circumcision) on one hand and the burgeoning lucrative mutilation of the breasts, uteri, vaginas and penises of our children/teens, and the unproven use of powerful hormones in children. This period will go down as an another historical atrocity by certain humans against our children.
They’re too young to vote, marry, get a tattoo, drink (in the USA) but are old enough to undergo dangerous mutilating procedures that will change them forever! Absolute madness!

Of course Matt seems brave. He can afford to be. He knows he won't lose his job for speaking opinions with which everyone at his company agrees. It's easy to appear brave when you aren't actually afraid.
@@limlaith if he loses monetisation on TH-cam or kicked off of any social media, he will lose out, as Crowder showed the contracts to everyone, albeit an initial offer, but doesn’t take much imagination to figure out where his stands.

This man is a hero. We need to have a candid discussion about transgender culture, especially when it affects children. With the growing number of detranstioners, we have to ask some hard questions. When it comes to irreversible psychological and physical interventions, we must subject it to intense scrutiny. This is not an emotional issue and evidence is a pre-requisite for discussion.

Why are we supposed to be kind and coddle the feelings of some narcissistic manipulator who spews stuff like "I'm such a good-looking woman, I could steal your husband"? How are those words of Dylan's not aggressive? It's delusional, of course. But also a threat. And Dylan is no stranger to threatening people. Especially women who disagree with him. He said "I fear for you, because the internet is forever and it will soon become forbidden to be transphobic, I don't want you to suffer the consequences of your words" or "I believe if you call me a man, you should be imprisoned". How are these not evil, truly evil threatening, aggressive things to say and why are we supposed to hold back to such a vile man? Only because some of you disregard all this and fell victim to his victim narrative? To his cry-bullying? Narcissists do this all the time: they threaten, say and do vile things, but once you set up boundaries or dare to strike back, they are suddenly little fragile snowflakes and how dare you be so mean to them? I had a friend come back into my life after 40 years, to tell me he was now a female. I understand Winston's compassion for true dysphoria - my heart broke for my friend's pain (this dysphoria is not really what the kids are going through). We made a pact that he would postpone an alleged euthanasia for 9 months. But after 10 months passed, with numerous in-depth discussions over research, biblical foundations, genetics, science, the departure of medical professionals from sound biology, lack of common sense, denial of nature, comorbidities, environmental factors, family dynamics, his own personality, vials of pills etc - and witnessing his ongoing acute depression, suicidal thoughts, hallucinations, voices, medical complications - and even admitting that he was lied to by the counselors/medical doctors pushing gender affirming care - he could not escape the bondage. I unturned every stone, via support groups, Laura Perry's ministry and similar ones, churches with experienced discipleship for trans - he was claiming to have been a Bible believing Christian. I finally saw that he was ultimately choosing NOT to take steps to heal the wounds. I eventually saw his intensely selfish focus - his own pain was more important than the emotional damage to his now deceased wife - and surviving children. His mantra was that he only wanted to find peace, but found none. Always about him. I now wonder how honest he had been with me, or if he was just trying to emotionally manipulate to accept his choice. Well, it didn't work, and I am the wiser for it.

Yes, Matt. It very much is like the death of a child. I lost my beautiful daughter to this gender ideology madness almost 3 years ago. Ppl keep telling me she'll grow out of it, but I'm not so sure. EDIT: Thanks to those who have expressed their sympathies & support. I'd like to add that I did not kick my daughter out. She decided to move in full-time with her liberal father & progressive stepmother. Legally, my hands are tied. Though I share joint custody, she is now legally old enough (she'll be 16 this summer) to decide which parent she wants to reside with and I cannot compel her to visit me. I told her in no uncertain terms that I'm her mother first and foremost, not her BFF. It is my duty as her parent to keep her grounded in reality. I love her more than words can possibly express, and her rejection of me has hurt me like no other. I will not cater to her delusions, because truth matters, despite the cost. From the beginning of this craziness I've stood by my faith and by the facts of the matter. I've been called all sorts of things, and I've also been asked by many if I ever get tired of fighting against this bs. Here's the thing, the truth is not tiring to stand by because it's true, but when you're lying, you tire out because there's a part of you that knows it's a lie and lying excessively is exhausting. I worked with a transgender person who I chewed out because they tried to say something about how they understood how painful my cramps were one day. I have not, and will not support this madness, and we need more people to stand up for the truth. It's not because of "hating" anyone, it's because 1) they truly have issues that go beyond thinking they are someone/thing else, 2) they're no longer wanting acceptance but exceptionality, and 3) this mentality is stamping out the uniqueness of being a genuine man and woman.

I am a woman and I find Dylan M extremally threatening to my state of being and safety. His influence could easily destroy many women's lives by empowering men to erase the meaning of what we are. This can and will lead to all manner of horrific abuse against women. Yes, I am very threatened by him.

Daphney. You write this piece like it only affects women. It affects men too, our men, and just as much, if not more. Look at the non trans voices opposing this. It is mainly men, isn't it? Look at the tic Tok vids supporting this. It is mainly non trans women. I suggest that women understand that it is uncontrolled feminism which has got us here, and for this to change you personally need to start calling out this nonsense on a local level, rather than waiting for the men to come in and save us on a national level. But that would take real bravery and strength. This makes a mockery of men, as much as it does to women. Things affect men too, if we would just pay attention. Indeed, if we look at the data, there are more school girls who are trans than there are boys. By far and away the majority of trans kids come from single parent families, where there is only a mother. The father was isolated via the courts. Go look at who is pushing all these laws through. Go look at the teachers. They are predominantly women. If we don't identify how we got here, we won't be able to identify how to crawl our way out. Maybe we could stop voting for people who keep passing these laws which always benefit one side over another. White stra8 men are now all but banned from being hired into govt paid positions. This is all done through laws. Laws women keep voting for because it benefits them. And now they want the men to come help them? That will be difficult when your men have been so weakened and emasculated and legislated out of society. And there is no slowing down. It's all connected. Nothing is happening in a vacuum. Morality and ethics is seen as a smorgasbord of choices. We choose to ignore the moral that we like to engage in. But it doesn't work like that. Ideology needs to be consistent, applied to all people, otherwise it all falls apart.
AS an example of this Just look at the interview with Drew Barrymore and Dylan. It is 100% adoration. And she is a white non trans wealthy female.
